Sir Julian, a former South Australian, landed his maiden Queensland win in September after arriving in the Sunshine State in May. Saturday’s win took his career record to 25 wins from 114 starts.
Cremin secured his double with another inside run behind the Grant Dixon-trained Frankie Rocks ($3.80) in the Redcliffe Leagues Club Open Pace (Race 5), holding off Mako Banner and stablemate, former Blacks A Fake winner, Ohoka Punter.
The win was Frankie Rocks’ first at the triangle in 10 attempts and took his career earnings beyond the $220,000 mark.
Local trainer Donny Smith also landed a winning double on the night, scoring with the ultra-consistent My Ultimate Fella and None Bettor.
Grant Dixon also completed a winning double when his wife Trista guided Astral Ruler to win the Ultimate Tools November Trotters Cup (Race 10).
