RACE TWO

HAPPY PUBLICANS (11) is racing in great form with wins in 3 of his past 4 starts with the other result a narrow 2nd when only a neck from the winner. Making a mid-race move to get to the front from gate 10 last start, he assumed control and pulled clear for a comfortable victory. He can overcome the gate again.

THE GENERAL (5) can look to lay down an early advantage from this gate where the main players look to have drawn the 2nd line. Trying to take them all the way last start over the 2040m at Redcliffe, he was gunned down in front 2 starts back at the mail by MISTER DIAMOND

PEPPA BLISS (12) has equal share of ability and tractability issues at present. Hitting the line in nice order from deep in the pack last start, the distance is a query but if she puts it together is in the mix.

NINA SIMONE (3) pressed forward from gate 5 last start to find the front before releasing for the trail. Feeling the pinch before the home turn, she boxed on gamely and can fill a minor in this.

SELECTIONS: HAPPY PUBLICANS (11), THE GENERAL (5), PEPPA BLISS (12), NINA SIMONE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HAPPY PUBLICANS (11) to win

RACE THREE

HANDSOME HERO (7)
faces a tough gate here but is racing well and was strong to the line from this same gate last start over the 2138m trip. Easing in the early stages of that battle, he was charging home to be just a lip from the winner WAHS FIRE BUG. He will need a rub of the green but is up to it.

YEP GOT CHOOKS (8) fired off the arm from gate 2 last start to take control over the 2138m trip and was able to keep it controlled in even splits early. Gripping on in the stretch, he could not repel the challenge of WAHS FIRE BUG when beaten a half-head. Needing some luck, he will be probing for gaps.

BELLA BALL TERROR (3) secured a cosy trip against the poles last start and appreciated the tempo when finding the gaps to charge home over the top. Settling handy he can chime in again.

EL AGUILA (2) capitalised from gate 1 here 2 starts back when pouncing on the lead and then leading all the way with a smart last 800. Striking trouble last start that ended his chances, he can atone.

SELECTIONS: HANDSOME HERO (7), YEP GOT CHOOKS (8), BELLA BALL TERROR (3), EL AGUILA (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

A pair of talented 2YOs step up against the older horses here and look to hold the keys to this contest. LEAP TO FAME (3) returned from a spell last start and in a small field eased early before pouncing on them and putting them away in smart order. Fitter for that run, he can deal with them again.

TIMS A TROOPER (1) broke through for his first victory last start when also returning from a spell. Sent forward from gate 4 to set the speed, he was never in danger from the front when cruising home to an effortless 6m victory. With the right trip he can throw down the challenge.

COBBITY CASTLE (9) has been in super consistent form since arriving in Qld and added her first victory on this track last start to make it 4 successive wins. Trailing through she is a podium chance.

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (10) has made costly errors at his past 2 starts and lands the ODM tag here as a result. His run 2 starts back was a huge effort after losing a stack of ground and if he can maintain his gait can be in the money.

SELECTIONS: LEAP TO FAME (3), TIMS A TROOPER (1), COBBITY CASTLE (9), MY ULTIMATE BONDI (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-9-10

RACE FIVE

SHEZ GOT BLING (9) started from this same gate last time and was attacking the line in nice style over the closing stages to grab the silver behind COBBITY CASTLE when 3m in arrears. Working home strongly for 3rd to OFFICE BADY BOY 3 starts back, she can be in the right spot to descend on them.

OFFICE BAD BOY (3) was having his first appearance after a stable switch here 2 starts back when easing into the running line from gate 4. Saved for one run, he was able to sweep over the top of them to arrive for a half-neck margin. He got it all wrong last start and if he can turn it around can challenge in this.

ALLSTAR SEA (4) might just appreciate the bigger oval after most of his recent outings have been at Redcliffe. Hitting the line in nice order to grab the silver 2 starts back, he can make a play here.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (5) settled in the running line from gate 8 over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back before powering over the top to victory. Too far back as COBBITY CASTLE took control last time, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ GOT BLING (9), OFFICE BAD BOY (3), ALLSTAR SEA (4), TORQUE IN CONTROL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ GOT BLING (9) to win

RACE SIX

This race is wide open and looks a case of get your ticket in the race six raffle. Winless in 15 attempts here at The Creek, RITCHIE BEE (4) was beaten by gate 7 here on Monday yet was strong to the line when 5m from the winner. Gunned down in front here 3 starts back, he can fire the early shots.

LITTLEDEE (9) sat in the 1x1 trail at Marburg last start after starting from outside the 2nd line. Trying to launch a closing raid, she could only get within a half-head of the winner. A four-time winner at the track, she can trail through early looking to make the winning challenge.

BELLAVICTREE (10) sat in the running line from the 2nd line last time out before looming to grab the bronze as SIR SEMPER FIDELIS arrived. Not suited at the 2138m last start, she can chime in here.

CHUMP CHOP (7) backs up from his win here on Monday where he was asked to work in the run and was able to pull clear for an 8m victory. The gate stings but with even luck, he can make a play and hold the winning ticket.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (4), LITTLEDEE (9), BELLAVICTREE (10), CHUMP CHOP (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

GREAT FANTASY (9)
settled in the running line from the 30m last time out and with even splits run from the front could not work into the contest. To far back in the pack the start prior against much stronger opposition, he returned from a spell with a smart 3rd here 3 starts back. The smaller field gives him every chance.

MAJESTIC SPEED (7) was given a chance to tackle the stronger trotters here on Tuesday when finishing midfield. A model of consistency, she had hit the board at her previous 5 in succession, including a 2m margin here 2 runs back. From the 20m tape, she looks to get every chance here.

MISTER CHISOLM (5) was a winner here from the 10m tape 3 starts back when stepping cleanly, taking control, and holding on. Midfield last start when hemmed away in the field, he can chime in.

TOUCHE DE FLING (2) is still searching for the maiden breaking win and last start got it all wrong as they were released. 3m from MISTE CHISOLM here 3 starts back when stepping cleanly, he can poke in behind them here.

SELECTIONS: GREAT FANTASY (9), MAJESTIC SPEED (7), MISTER CHISOLM (5), TOUCHE DE FLING (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GREAT FANTASY (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

IL PIRATA (6) has been running some great races but keeps finding a way to come up short. Attacking the line strongly last start from the 30m tape, he grabbed the silver when 2m in arrears of the winner. Strong to the line the start prior when only a head away, the small field is in his favour, and he gets his chance for the breakthrough.

PUMA ROAD (3) was back in the pack here on Tuesday and as the winner DREAMEE put them to the sword through the latter stages, he could not muster the hustle to chase. Making an error in Saturday night company the start prior, a return to the front tape is a big plus and he gets his chance to capitalise.

ORLANDO JOLT (8) was chasing gamely in Saturday night company last start when not too far from the winner GODOFTHUNDER. Charging home the start prior when just 1m from DOUG, he can chime in here.

THE REAPER (2) could not go with them here on Tuesday after securing a nice run-in transit before fading to be down the line. The front tape helps his chances to be in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: IL PIRATA (6), PUMA ROAD (3), ORLANDO JOLT (8), THE REAPER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: IL PIRATA (6) to win

RACE NINE

HURRIKANE SPIRIT (5) had been really starting to find his rhythm and completed a hat-trick of victories where he had been trotting cleanly and strongly. Making an error than ended his chances and had him sent to the trials last start, he gained the ticket back and if able to find that rhythm can claim the prize.

MULLUM STEFFI (1) looks for the hat-trick after successive wins over this trip, the latest when she sat in the trail and was right line at the top of the stretch to score an effortless victory. Powering over the top of them 2 starts back, she is still learning but with the right trip can take another step here.

TROYTHETROTTER (4) has plenty of ability but can throw his races away with his manners. Huge in defeat 2 starts back after making an error and then resetting when only 3m away. Making a costly error last start that saw him banished to the trials, he earned the return and looms large if he can trot all the way.

SELECTIONS: HURRIKANE SPIRIT (5), MULLUM STEFFI (1), TROYTHETROTTER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HURRIKANE SPIRIT (5) to win

RACE TEN

FLASHY SEB (1) was looking for 3 wins on the bounce last start when his chances expired with an early error. Trotting cleanly throughout the start prior for the easiest of victories, he has looked to have an edge over his rivals through this series. If he brings it again here, they will be chasing.

CONFISCATED (5) has looked the clear second pick of the ‘babies’ throughout this series and has been able to finish in the money at all 4 career starts. The best of the chasers behind FLASHY SEB at his past 2 starts, he was a winner here 3 starts back and looks best placed to launch the challenge again in this Final.

BANFF (3) has been a steady improver at each outing, the latest when chasing gamely for the silver behind PARIS KAY. A long way behind them after making an error but holding 3rd when 2nd up, he can find the podium.

SELECTIONS: FLASHY SEB (1), CONFISCATED (5), BANFF (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FLASHY SEB (1) to win
