RACE TWO

NIFTY JOLT (4) held position from gate 2 here last week at his first Qld start and was content to sit parked. With a controlled tempo, he was able to grind it out and prevail by a neck margin. Taking benefit from the run- his first since July 30- he finds another winnable contest here.

ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (7) is a 3YO giving away plenty of experience to his rivals here as he lines up for just his 2nd career start and first in Aus after crossing the Tasman to join the Chantal Turpin barn. A debut winner over 2200m in NZ, he has been given two preparatory trials in readiness and remains under watch.

SMILES TELL ITALL (2) is a newcomer to Qld, joining the Mal Charlton team and arrives a last start winner. That win was when leading throughout over the 2150m at Bendigo. Settling handy can see him feature.

KATACHA MAN (1) did not have much go his way last start over this trip when buried in the run and then not getting space when needed. Placed his previous 4 in succession at Redcliffe, the gate helps.

SELECTIONS: NIFTY JOLT (4), ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (7), SMILES TELL ITALL (2), KATACHA MAN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NIFTY JOLT (4) to win

RACE THREE

UNCLE SHANK (5)
tackled a strong 3YO race claimed by CAPTAIN CRUSADER last start when not suite over the 2138m and made tougher when asked to sit parked. Back to the mile suits where his record is 5 from 6 and despite a sticky gate, he should be too zippy for his rivals here.

GOING FOR GOLD (2) had just the two starts last campaign, shut down after the second when making an error and fading out of it. With two trials to open the pipes, the first was a steady effort with the 2nd a strong piece of work behind some highly credentialed performers. He can challenge first up from the gate.

LANCELOT BROMAC (7) is never far from the action and last week had the conditions to suit when finishing best to score his 30th victory here at The Creek. With a genuine tempo he can be thereabouts.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6) was perhaps more on the rocks side last start after securing a favourable 59.9 opening half but unable to put them away. The gate does not help here but being the hunter rather than the hunted is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: UNCLE SHANK (5), GOING FOR GOLD (2), LANCELOT BROMAC (7), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: UNCLE SHANK (5) to win

RACE FOUR

A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (1)
eased from gate 4 over the mile here 2 starts back and settled in the running line powered home over the top of them to claim a 3m victory. Runner-up last start when only a head from the winner, she lands the gate to capitalise on the options and claim another victory.

HECTOR (9) should take good benefit from his first run here in Qld last week when sent forward from gate 7. Doing some early work, his condition gave out in the closing stages, yet he was in for the fight when only a neck in arrears of the winner. Trailing through he can look to go one better here.

LE TISSIER (5) makes his first appearance in Qld after crossing the Tasman. Joining the Narissa McMullen barn, the 5YO arrives with 2 wins and with his last appearance when runner-up back on Aug 6, he stays under watch.

MIAMI SURF (6) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when finishing down the line over this trip. Opening the pipes with a tidy trial hit out, he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (1), HECTOR (9), LE TISSIER (5), MIAMI SURF (6)
SUGGESTED BET: A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

OFFICE BAD BOY (2) was sent forward last start and content to sit parked was in for the fight all the way to the wire when only an eyelash from the winner. Finishing best from the 1x1 trail here 3 starts back in claiming victory, he can be close enough to the action to capitalise here.

MOTU AMETHYST (9) found the 1x1 trail last start from gate 3 and was making a closing play when 1.5m in arrears of the winner NIFTY JOLT. Luckless the start prior when running into dead ends, she can trail through in the early stages here and finds the right race to make a challenge.

RISKY BUZINESS (1) made the most of the good alley at Marburg 2 starts back when taking them all the way from the front. Not suited last start at the 2138m, he can make full use of the alley here.

ILLBEWATCHING (5) will find this a shade stronger than what he has been facing, yet he has been in consistent form that includes finishing with the silver at his past 2 starts. He can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: OFFICE BAD BOY (2), MOTU AMETHYST (9), RISKY BUZINESS (1), ILLBEWATCHING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: OFFICE BAD BOY (2) to win

RACE SIX

ROCK FISHERMAN (3)
rolled forward from gate 7 last time out in a qualifier and content to do it the tough way was able to land the catch in proving too strong. The win franked the effort of his start the week prior when charging home to be just 4m from GOVERNOR JUJON and from the gate can look for a repeat victory.

ANOTHER STATEMENT (4) sat in the pocket trail here 2 starts back and with the cosy trip behind the speed was able to sprint clear for the prize. Chasing for the silver last start behind KASHED UP, he can find position to be again making a closing challenge in this.

MOHS EM DOWN (5) has been kept fresh since his last outing where he was forced to do it the tough way. Game in defeat when making one closing lunge, only to be a flared nostril from success, he is in the mix again.

MAJORDOIT (9) looked to have found the ideal race last start and was sent to the post as fav from gate 5. Easing early, he was unable to reel them in when 6m in arrears. With the right trip he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: ROCK FISHERMAN (3), ANOTHER STATEMENT (4), MOHS EM DOWN (5), MAJORDOIT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK FISHERMAN (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

MOLLIESMARYELLE (3)
found the pocket trail from gate 2 last week and with the cosy trip in behind the action, had the closing speed to power over the top for the prize. Working hard in the run the start prior, she can be close enough to the action to look for the repeat.

ITS MR CLOONEY (8) will be sweating on the 1 looking to take them all the way and if that scenario pans out, will be hoping the gaps arrive with momentum. A gritty 2nd last start when asked to race tough and only 3m from the smart looking ALTA SENSATION, he will be probing for the openings.

RUNFORTHEROSES (1) is at her best when in front and has had those conditions in 2 of her past 4 starts, converting them to victory on both occasions. From this gate she will be gripping on.

SNUGGLES BANYULA (2) was a winner here 3 starts back when swooping home over the top to claim the prize. Chasing from back in the pack last start behind ALTA SENSATION, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MOLLIESMARYELLE (3), ITS MR CLOONEY (8), RUNFORTHEROSES (1), SNUGGLES BANYULA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-8

RACE EIGHT

BOMBADIER JUJON (4)
tried to take them all the way here on Saturday night from gate 1 when holding them wide over the 2138m. His bell was rung turning off the back straight as MAKE MINE MEMPHIS put him away with a sub 27 third panel. Fighting on to be 5m in arrears, a return to Tuesday grade should suit.

RAGNARR (6) wilted last start after doing it the tough way when sitting parked in a strong Saturday night contest. Beaten by a 2nd line gate the start prior when trying to wind up as VIRGIL controlled it from the front, he faces the tough gate but looks up to the task to make a challenge in this grade.

COMMDORE JUJON (8) was wide the last 1000m here last start when making a move from back in the pack and was strong to the line when 7m from the winner. Needing a slice of luck, he will be probing here.

COREY WILLIAM (5) has not had much luck in landing a gate with a gate 7 followed by 4 starting on the 2nd line at his past 4 in succession. He might light the fuse early here and take his chance.

SELECTIONS: BOMBADIER JUJON (4), RAGNARR (6), COMMDORE JUJON (8), COREY WILLIAM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BOMBADIER JUJON (4) to win

RACE NINE

SABRAGE (5)
was runner-up in successive races at the mile before making the most of the return to claiming grade with wins at his past two when leading throughout in each. With superb speed out of the machine, he took control last start over the 2138m from this gate when holding on for victory by a head. He can look for the hat-trick.

TULHURST ACE (1) will take benefit from his latest outing when first up since returning to Qld. Settling in the running line from gate 3, he was strong to the line when 4m from the winner SABRAGE. It has been over 12 months since his last win but with all the options from the gate can throw it down here.

MIDNIGHT MAN (3) will get his chance to take a shot from this gate and better suited when lighting the lamps should get his chance. Not suited when parked last start from gate 7, he is in the mix.

DREAM TO SHARE (6) has had to settle for the silver at his past 2 starts, the latest when making the closing play behind SABRAGE but coming up a head short. Only a lip away the start prior, he is right I the fight.

SELECTIONS: SABRAGE (5), TULHURST ACE (1), MIDNIGHT MAN (3), DREAM TO SHARE (6) SUGGESTED BET:
