Racing Queensland confirms that following the recent rain and adjustments to the 2022 TAB Queensland Racing Carnival's black-type features, the races have been rescheduled to the Brisbane Racing Club race meeting at Doomben on Saturday, July 9:

  • Group 3 Magic Millions Pam O’Neill Stakes - $150,000, Fillies & Mares - Set Weights & Penalties - 1600m;
  • Listed XXXX Chief De Beers - $130,000 - Quality Handicapv- 1110m, and
  • Impressu Darby McCarthy - $125,000 - 3YO Set Weights & Penalties - 1110m.

To accommodate these changes it has been necessary to reschedule two of the races from the original July 9 program to other race meetings. They are:

  • Benchmark 85 - 2000m - $75,000 – reprogrammed to the Brisbane Racing Club meeting at Doomben on Wednesday, July 13; and
  • Benchmark 72 - 1600m - $75,000 – reprogrammed to the Ipswich Turf Club meeting on Wednesday, July 6, and will be contested over the amended distance of 1666m.

As a consequence, the July 9 meeting will comprise of 10 races, its July 13 meeting nine races, and the Ipswich Turf Club meeting on July 6, nine races.

The changes will be included in the program section in Racing Queensland’s RACE publication in June and can also be sourced on the RQ and Racing Australia websites.
