RACE ONE

ROSARITO (2) has not had much go in his favour this campaign, however conditions look more favourable here. Strong to the line wide off the track last start to get within a half-head, the start prior he did not get the cleanest passage. The improved gate can be the catalyst to turn it around.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) sat back in the pack from the second line last time out and with a well-time closing challenge, swept over the top to take a 3m margin. Asked to do it the tough way the start prior, he can get forward from this alley to issue the challenge.

RAANI (9) is in search of the hat-trick after wins at the 2040m and then the 1780m on this deck at her past two. Charging home over the top last start to arrive, if the tempo is hot, she can swoop.

IM JIMMY JAMES (8) fired out early over the AP 2138m last start, finding the poles before releasing the speed. Arriving up the lane to defeat CHAMONIX, he can be making a closing raid again here.

SELECTIONS: ROSARITO (2), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5), RAANI (9), IM JIMMY JAMES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSARITO (2) to win

RACE TWO

DANCINTOTHEBEAT (7) has been squaring off in tougher contests at The Creek from some tricky gates, the latest when easing to find position from gate 4 when caught looking for a spot. Luckless when searching for an opening two back, she has a slick closing sprint and can utilise the lane.

ONLY ONCE BITTEN (1) will take further benefit from her latest outing when second up from a spell. In the money at both return runs, the first up effort was a game effort when just a neck shy of the winner and then second up she took them all the way. She can burrow through to throw it down.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (8) needed some space that did not present in time last start when finishing a probing 4m in arrears. Just 4m from BETTOR ROMANCE the start prior, he has closing claims.

BETTOR ROMANCE (3) started from inside the second line here two starts back and with conditions in her favour, darted through to arrive. From the gate she can be in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: DANCINTOTHEBEAT (7), ONLY ONCE BITTEN (1), HOT ROD HEAVEN (8), BETTOR ROMANCE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DANCINTOTHEBEAT (7) to win

RACE THREE

ROSES ARE SWEET (9)
has the sticky gate to negotiate but her past two returns suggest that she is up to taking this. Buried in the run two starts back, she was threading the needle to get within a neck of JOHNROD and last start was just 1m away after doing some early work. This looks within reach.

PRINCE JOY (1) eased from gate 4 last start to find the poles and from there was then able to find the gaps in the latter stages to sprint home and take the prize. A beaten fav two starts back from this same gate when it did not go to plan, he can get the right trip to make a challenge.

SWEET JASMINE (4) was sent round the field when the dust settled three starts back and from there was able to fight them off to take the prize. Placed in both runs since, she is in the fight once again.

DOLLARBILL (6) eased from gate 5 last start to find the running line before making some closing metres to be 6m in arrears of the winner and grab 3rd. Just 8m from FAST TRACKER the start prior, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: ROSES ARE SWEET (9), PRINCE JOY (1), SWEET JASMINE (4), DOLLARBILL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSES ARE SWEET (9) to win

RACE FOUR

JOHNROD (9)
is squarely in the zone this zones this season and will line up here looking to make it 6 successive victories. Pressing on to the front from gate 2 last time and fighting them off to claim victory by a neck, he overcame this gate two starts back. This looks tougher but can fill the six-pack.

SHADYS DELIGHT (7) eased from gate 5 last start to find the running line before making a closing play to grab the silver when 3m in arrears of the winner JELIGNITE JACK. 3rd to GOLDEN SAND here three runs back, he looks set to be buried but can make a closing play when the gaps present.

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (5) started from the second line last time out and tracking into the race strongly had the closing power to arrive for the prize. Just a head away the start prior, he is in the mix.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) has a good finishing burst and displayed that last start when charging home from back in the pack to grab the bronze. She will be doing the same again here looking for a minor.

SELECTIONS: JOHNROD (9), SHADYS DELIGHT (7), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (5), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JOHNROD (9) to win

RACE FIVE

GETALOADATHISBRO (1) has been hitting some nice areas since resuming from a spell, finishing in the money in 8 of 9 starts. A beaten fav last start when setting the speed over the AP mile where he held on for the bronze, he had won 3 of his previous 4 and has the gate here to capitalise.

COURAGEOUS SAM (6) had been facing wide gates owing to his manners and after a tidy return when midfield two starts back, earned the ticket back to the main draw. Slammed with gate 5, he then grafted out a determined win and despite another wide gate, he can look for a repeat.

PURPLE SHADES (3) sat in the pocket trail last start and was trying to issue a closing raid when 4m in arrears of the winner SPECIALANDIKNOWIT. Buried the start prior, he has podium hopes again.

ROLLONX (7) looks set to enjoy the economical trip here and be ready to make a closing play up the passing lane. Fading out last start after setting the speed, he can follow through to chime in.

SELECTIONS: GETALOADATHISBRO (1), COURAGEOUS SAM (6), PURPLE SHADES (3), ROLLONX (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GETALOADATHISBRO (1) to win

RACE SIX

IM FREYJA (2)
switches to the Graham Dwyer stable after a last start all the way victory when prepared by Matt Craven. Firing out form gate 3 in that contest, she was able to repel the early and late challengers to claim a 2m margin. She has the gate to rinse and repeat.

CHASIN DREAMZ (9) is running hot, hitting the board at her past 13 in succession, which includes 5 victories. Sent forward to get outside the leader last start from gate 6, she proved too strong in clinging on to claim a half-head margin. Just a half-neck in arrears two back, she can throw it down.

EXPLANATION NOTED (5) is moving ever closer to another victory after placing in 4 of her past 5 appearances. Hitting the line hard to be just a lip shy of victory last week, she is in the mix again.

AROONA (1) sat in the pocket trail last start from this same alley and was trying to issue a closing challenge when best of the chasers behind MAJOR GRANDEUR. He has podium claims once again.

SELECTIONS: IM FREYJA (2), CHASIN DREAMZ (9), EXPLANATION NOTED (5), AROONA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: IM FREYJA (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

TULHURST CUDDLES (2)
was second up in Qld last time out when sent around the field in the early stages from gate 9 to sit parked. Despite looking a spent force on the home turn, she rallied strongly to graft out a 1m margin, holding on for 3rd. With the improved gate, she can open the Qld account.

SONNY ORLANDO (6) settled in the running line from the second line last start and trying to issue a closing challenge was 5m in arrears of the winner REMEMBER EVE. Runner-up here the start prior when beaten an eyelash, there was over 6-weeks between starts and tightened he can challenge.

ELPINE SALLY (4) found the pocket trail two starts back and with the good trip was able to grab the bronze. Gunned down in front last start over this trip, she can be thereabouts.

ABBEY DIADEMA (9) eased to the poles from gate 4 last start and then searching for gaps was hitting the line in nice order, finishing just behind the money. With a similar trip she can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST CUDDLES (2), SONNY ORLANDO (6), ELPINE SALLY (4), ABBEY DIADEMA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TULHURST CUDDLES (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

REMEMBER EVE (3) made the most of a return to The Triangle and gate 1 two starts back when leading throughout when sent out deep into the red. A beaten fav last time at the 2040m trip, a return to the sprint here can see her extend the sharp record of 4 from 5 on this deck.

BOLD COWBOY (9) has struggled at times this season as he searches for his first win of the term, but he finds a race here where he might just have found the right conditions. Banished to the trials last start, his effort behind PARKEFD IN HEAVEN the start prior had merit and he can make a play here.

WHATA REACTOR (1) has some early hustle to avail the options from this alley. Not suited last start when sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked, a more economical trip here appeals.

AUNTY EMILY (4) returns to the Chris Frisby barn with her recent efforts suggesting that she can be a player in this. A wide trip stung last time which followed a 2m margin and she has claims.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER EVE (3), BOLD COWBOY (9), WHATA REACTOR (1), AUNTY EMILY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER EVE (3) to win

RACE NINE

MOON OVER MONTANA (8)
has been thereabouts in four career starts to date, the latest a tough effort when grinding it out first over to hold on for 2nd behind MANHATTAN LASS. Doing it just as tough the start prior from gate 6 when sent forward, he can look for the account opener.

SWIFT CHANGE (2) has been to the track on three occasions now, building on each effort and comes up with the best alley in her career to date. Locked away last start, she chased gamely behind the big winner ORATORIA and with the added experience, finds an open maiden to take her shot.

OUTER CHANGE (7) settled in the pocket trail three starts back when holding on for the bronze behind BLUE BLOODZ. Ending her chances with a gate break two starts back, the cosy trip suits.

GHOST TRAIN (5) angled to the poles last time out from the second line and with the cosy trip was making a closing raid to be just a head from the winner. Building off that return, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MOON OVER MONTANA (8), SWIFT CHANGE (2), OUTER CHANGE (7), GHOST TRAIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MOON OVER MONTANA (8) to win

RACE TEN

KORLOFF NOIR (4)
has now had two starts since arriving in Qld and was 3rd at her first appearance when eased to the poles before flashing home for 3rd behind the SE Derby bound CANYFINDABETTORMAN. Striking trouble last start, a drop to maiden company is a huge drop.

NIZHONI (5) is still learning her craft and at her latest appearance was midfield behind ORATORIA, after she was a little wayward. Holding on for the bronze three starts back after pressing forward from a wide gate to find the front, she is slowly putting it together and has claims.

FURIOSA (1) comes up with the right alley to be a player, her latest start when charging home to run the winner to a head. From this alley she is right in the frame.

AKERMANIS (7) was on debut last week from gate 1 and from the pocket trail was getting squeezed a bit in the run. With added experience from the outing, he can follow through to fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: KORLOFF NOIR (4), NIZHONI (5), FURIOSA (1), AKERMANIS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KORLOFF NOIR (4) to win
