RACE ONE

BETTORS MOON (2) is a 2YO tackling this mixed maiden with three first starters. With race experience to call on, her latest effort was sound when looking to take them all the way but fading in the closing stages as SAN MAREA arrived. From the gate she will trying to see it out.

FILLY THIRTEEN (3) is a 3YO filly on debut for John McMullen out of the former handy race mare Speriamo. Trialled as a 2YO in NSW almost 12 months ago, she arrived in Qld and earned her race ticket with a tidy effort on this track. The good alley helps her chances to challenge first up.

RONS REACTION (1) is an Auckland Reactor 3YO making his first race appearance for Ron Sallis and lands the gate advantage to be in the mix.

CHARLIE MY BOY (4) was sent to the post as favourite when making his race debut and after being caught for position, eased back and then never warmed up. The experience will help.

RACE TWO

MISTER DECORUM (5) started from inside the second line last time out and was soon angled into the running line to find the 1x1 trail. Holding on for the bronze behind the big winner REMEMBER EVE, he has the wide gate but might just have enough hustle to get across and stake a claim.

SONNY ORLANDO (9) eased from gate 6 last start to settle rearward before trying to launch a closing raid but unable to go with them in the closing stages. Just 5m from the winner two starts back when returning from a let up, he has the tough gate again but with the right trip can challenge in this.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (6) eased from gate 5 over the AP mile last start and from deep in the pack was making a wide run when grabbing the silver behind the dictating WILD ABOOUT TOWN.

CLARES FOOL (7) features in a barn switch and will line up for Graham Dwyer. With over 18 months since his last victory, he looks set to enjoy the trip in behind the speed and will be probing.

RACE THREE

MONTEREY JACK (5)
drew wide in gate 6 here two starts back at the 2040m journey but looked to have found his race and was sent to the post as the fav. Working hard parked out, he was game in finishing 6m from the winner. Despite the wide gate, he can again press on to make his play.

SHEZ GOT BLING (4) started from the second line last time out and was trying to join in over the closing stages when 7m from the winner JOEY LINCOLN. A passing lane winner here four starts back, positioning cheaply will give her the chance to make a closing challenge.

CALL ME TRISH (9) was runner-up in successive appearances when beaten a head and then a half-head up the passing lane two runs back. The gate is not ideal, but she can make a late play.
IMA CHICK MAGNET (1) has ticked over 12 months since his only win which came when leading throughout. Showing steady improvement in recent outings, he has the gate to take his shot.

RACE FOUR

JOEY LINCOLN (7)
charged home from deep int eh pack to score here four runs back and then was buried away at his next run. Running some sizzling closing panels two back, it was franked with a passing lane assault to score last time. He maps for the prefect trip to arrive once again.

CHASIN DREAMZ (1) continued her super consistent efforts last time out and making a closing dive to get within a half-head of the winner. Grafting out a strong win two starts back from gate 6 and doing it the tough way, she come up with the gate to burrow through and be looking to see it out.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (8) has been runner-up at her past two attempts, both here at Redcliffe, the latest from gate 6 when just 1m from JOEY LINCOLN. The pegs could be the play here to chime in.

EAGLES RESPONSE (2) was building towards something with successive minor placings before delivering a Marburg victory last start when wide off the track from the second line. The gate helps.

RACE FIVE

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (4) started from the second line here three runs back and was wide off the track in the closing stages when hitting the line strongly to claim a 1m margin. Runner-up at his next start when asked to hang tough outside the leader, he finds the right conditions to descend on them.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (3) was sent forward from gate 4 over the AP mile last time out, finding the front and then taking them all the way in a new career PB when hanging on for a 5m margin. Beaten in red figures here two runs back, he can get forward to throw it down to his opponents.

NON PASSARE (5) was runner-up in successive appearances o this deck two runs back when making a closing dive to be 1m from the winner DEVOUGED. A beaten fav from gate 9 last start, he has claims.

JILLIBY GIZMO (7) started from outside the second line at The Creek last start and was trying to offer a closing challenge wide out as WILD ABOUT TOWN carved it out in front. He will search for the gaps.

RACE SIX

UHURA (1)
was in the nominations looking for a start in the Qld Oaks, so missing that G1 contest looks well placed for this battle. Taking them all the way from gate 2 last start with 4m to spare, she claimed a dictating win three back when deep into the red. From the gate she looks set to control it.

STUDLEIGH MARK (9) is in nice touch with 3 wins in his past 5 starts, the latest here last week when sent forward to take control from gate 4 and take them all the way. Runner-up after a tough trip first over the start prior at Marburg, he receives no favours from this gate but can make a challenge.

FAIREACHDAINN (3) started inside the second line last time out when hemmed away as BEEFY BENSON. Beaten when attacked in front the start prior, she can be close enough to feature.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (7) was a Marburg winner two starts back when powering up early and then taking them all the way. A cosy trip behind the action looks on offer here and she will be probing.

RACE SEVEN

SAILALONG SINBAD (8)
started from inside the second line last time out in the Western Star at Marburg and never saw any space when holding on for the bronze behind WOODLEA DIEGO. Making some nice metres two runs back behind SUGAR FOR MY HONEY, he can arrive in a wide-open contest.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (3) started from gate 9 last time out when making a wide run over the closing stages to arrive in the final stride. Runner-up the start prior from inside the second line, he can find a handy spot here and has some claims in a tricky affair.

AMERICAN FLYER (4) should take some benefit from her latest outing when resuming from a let up and having her first appearance for the Butler barn. This looks a shade easier, and she can feature.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (6) has no favours from the outside paint but should appreciate some early tempo that looks to be generated here. Arriving in the closing strides last start, he can be chiming in.

RACE EIGHT

RAANI (1) was aiming up for the hat-trick last start when angled to the poles from gate 9 and searching for the short-cuts was 8mm in arrears of the winner BRIAN CHRISTOPHER. Taking them all the way from this gate at the 2040 three starts back, she has the options to cash-in.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) is after a threepeat of wins at this track and trip after saluting from gate 9 and then gate 5 last start. Easing from the wide alley last time, he was making nice metres in the closing stages to descend on them and take a 2m margin. Despite the gate, he will be challenging.

IM JIMMY JAMES (2) was sent around them in the early stages from the second line last time out and sitting parked held on for the silver. A winner at headquarters two back, he is in the mix.

HIPSTAR (6) will strip fitter from his latest outing when returning from close to 24 months off the scene. Eased from gate 5, he was strong to the line when 9m from the winner and can join in late.

RACE NINE

GOLDEN LACE (1)
tackled the Western Star at Marburg last start where from gate 2 she was soon back in the running line and with WODLEA DIEGO controlling proceedings in front, never got into the contest. Runner-up her previous two in succession, she has the options from this alley to capitalise.

THE MAHARANI (2) made the most of conditions last start when firing off the arm at Marburg to lead and keeping the tempo on throughout, pulled clear to claim an 8m margin and equal the mares track record. Runner-up in both starts prior at headquarters, she can throw down the challenge.

MELTON INSULTED (4) grabbed the bronze behind THE MAHARANI at Marburg and franked the form of that contest with victory here last time out. Gate 4 is tricky, but she is up to the task.


POLKA DOT DANCE (7) found the line nicely from deep in the pack last start. With an economical trip in behind the action and with the right tempo can be looking for the gaps to make a closing play.
