SUGGESTED BET: VALKYRIE HANOVER (1) to win

RACE THREE

PARAMA (7)
has hit the board in 3 of his 6 starts on this deck and comes up with the second line options as the lone runner out the back. Powering over the top to score at The Creek two runs back, he was runner-up last start and, in a race, where the 2280m could be a query for a few, he can arrive.

MISTY CREEK (4) was big in victory here on Monday night when sitting parked over the sprint trip and fighting them off in slick time. With a sizzling closing 800m split, it was a career best victory. He may need to do it tough again here but is having a super season.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1) held the front from this alley last time out and was trying to fight them off but drifted up the track and allowed the winner a saloon passage. He did fight back gamely to be within 2m of that winner and with the gate to be in the mix can look to challenge.

MONTEREY JACK (6) did it the tough way last start and was able to graft out a determined victory with 6m to spare. Wide off the track the start prior, he will need to be wide again, but he can press on to throw down the challenge.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7) scored a smart win from the second line here three runs back and has not been too far away his next two. Probing for gaps last start from this gate, he will be searching again.

CALL ME TRISH (1) started from outside the second line last start and was making some late ground for the bronze. With the cosy trip from this alley, she can be searching for the gaps to feature.

EXPLANATION NOTED (2) had been building towards a victory after three successive placings, including a 2nd when just an eyelash short of the prize. Powering home to score from gate 5 two runs back, she went back-to-back last start when arriving and with an improved gate can challenge.

STUDLEIGH WILL (1) burrowed through to lead from this gate five runs back and was gripping on in the stretch to be 3m adrift of the winner. Not suited since that outing, he will be trying to see it out.

FAIREACHDAINN (1) was looking to claim a hat-trick of victories two runs back when she copped plenty of heat in front at Marburg and was unable to cope over the closing stages. With 4 weeks until her next appearance when buried from inside the second line, she has the gate to challenge.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (9) resumes from a spell and has been to the trials with a sound hit out in readiness for his next campaign. Strong to the line last start, look for him in the closing stages.

finished 9m from the winner last start after working in the early stages and then not having the cleanest passage on the way home. Beaten by wide gate his previous two starts, he can press forward here and up on the engine will take some extinguishing.

THIS ONES FOR YOU (3) was wide off the track last start from the second line and found the wire in nice order for the bronze when 5m from the winner DOLLARBILL. That was her first look at this track and with the improved gate, she can get forward to make a play.

JOHNROD (1) has owned The Triangle in recent starts, winning his past five in succession on this deck. Starting to sneak up in grade, he looks a big risk of getting buried here which dents his chances.

ROCKINDOWNUNDER (2) has early hustle and can fire some early bullets to look for the poles. Close to MY ULTIMATE COBBER last start, an inside trip will aid her chances.

SUGGESTED BET: FIREHOUSE (4) to win

RACE TEN

THE IRISH EAGLE (8)

SO MUCH MORE (2) will be tightened from his last start where he was resuming from a break. Obliged to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way first over, he was game in defeat when 3m in arrears of the winner. From the gate he can look to throw down a challenge.

TEE RAVELLING (1) was taken across the border to Tamworth last start where he drew outside the front line and struck trouble in the run. With a big improvement in gates, he looks to get his chance.
