RACE ONE

POLKA DOT DANCE (9) will be reliant on some tempo on front but that looks likely. Eased from gate 7 last start over the AP mile, she was string to the line in the closing stages to be within 5m of the winner. Beaten a similar margin two starts back, she can arrive here.

SHARP SHOOTER (3) was a winner from gate 4 here five starts back when easing early before owning the best closing speed wide out to take a 2m margin. Not much has gone his way in the runs since that win, the latest when gate 6 put it out of reach. He can be better from the improved gate.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (4) eased from gate 6 last time out and was strong to the line in the closing stages of a small field to grab the silver. Look for him chiming in late again here.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (8) is back at the official races after campaigning through show week which culminated in his win in the big Final. With the right cart into this, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: POLKA DOT DANCE (9), SHARP SHOOTER (3), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (4), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: POLKA DOT DANCE (9) to win

RACE TWO

HOT ROD HEAVEN (3) has been without a win for over 18 months and despite his numbers not looking overly inspiring, he might just have found the chance to capitalise. Not suited when forced to sit parked last start, he took on a much tougher AP 2138m event two back. This looks within reach.

SWEET JASMINE (4) released from gate 1 after burrowing through early at Marburg last time out but then was soon hemmed away and never out to offer. A beaten fav here two starts back when 4m in arrears of the winner, she can look to for running line cover before issuing a closing challenge.

COURAGEOUS LEO (1) last raced here back in April but has tuned up throughout the Show where he did claim a victory. He lands the gate to avail the options and can chime into the minors here.

MAKE MINE JOE (5) eased to the poles last start and was not too far off them as CHANCELESS CENTURY arrived for the prize. The gate stings but he is up to filling the minors.

SELECTIONS: HOT ROD HEAVEN (3), SWEET JASMINE (4), COURAGEOUS LEO (1), MAKE MINE JOE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HOT ROD HEAVEN (3) to win

RACE THREE

FOR NO REASON (5)
started from gate 1 over the AP mile last start and was soon hemmed away in the run when finishing 7m adrift of the winner SHEREACTS. Just a half-neck away the start prior when making good metres in the closing stages, she only has 2 starts on this deck and can arrive.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2) should appreciate the front-line alley after 4 of her past 5 have been from the second line. Using the passing lane here two starts back to make a closing raid for the silver when 3m from the winner, it followed a close 2nd the start prior and with early hustle can challenge.

BETTING BARON (9) was buried in the run last start after easing from gate 4 to secure position. Midfield behind TEACHERS PET two starts back, he can be chiming into some minor money.

OFFICE BAD BOY (1) returns from a spell and secures the right gate for a first up play. Midfield last start after settling in the 1x1 trail from a second line gate, he can be searching for the openings.

SELECTIONS: FOR NO REASON (5), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2), BETTING BARON (9), OFFICE BAD BOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FOR NO REASON (5) to win

RACE FOUR

JACOBS THUNDER (5)
was too tough for them over the AP mile two starts back when rolling forward to sit parked and grafting out the victory. A half-neck away at his next outing, he was beaten by gate 7 last start when forced to cover too much territory. 2 from 4 on this deck, he looms large.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (7) will be needing to have a slice of luck on her side from this gate. Taking them all the way here two starts back, she could not go with them last start when finishing at the rear of the pack. If she can find the lane with momentum, she can be issuing a challenge.

JOY MAKER (2) was a Marburg winner two starts back when overcoming the outside second line gate to power home wide off the track to claim the prize. A beaten fav on this deck last start, she can be handy enough to challenge.

GOSLOING IN FLIGHT (9) cops no favours from outside the second line, the same gate he faced here last start when finishing at the rear of the pack. After some Show racing, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: JACOBS THUNDER (5), SHEZALUCKYLADY (7), JOY MAKER (2), GOSLOING IN FLIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

WHERES TASCOTT (6) claimed victory over the AP mile last start from outside the front line after easing across early to find the 1x1 trail. With the speed to power over the top of them in the stretch, the win followed some tidy efforts where not much has been in her favour. This is well within reach.

DARBY BRIGHTS (9) was sent forward to sit parked last time out and after the tough trip could not go on with it in the stretch. Trying to chase here two starts back after easing from gate 5 to secure position, she can look for a cart into the contest here to issue a challenge.

FLOORLESS (1) broke through to open the wining account last week, the maiden breaking win coming at start 52. Hitting the line smartly, she can step up again with an economical trip.

CLARES FOOL (4) claimed victory at Marburg four starts back and has finished as the runner-up in one run since that victory. Working hard last time out, he may need to roll the sleeves once again.

SELECTIONS: WHERES TASCOTT (6), DARBY BRIGHTS (9), FLOORLESS (1), CLARES FOOL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WHERES TASCOTT (6) to win

RACE SIX

HE SAID SHE SAID (2)
has placed in 3 of his 7 outings on this deck and should appreciate this level of opposition. Down the line last start as SAGINAW claimed victory over the 2138m at headquarters, he was searching for the gaps when midfield at the mile two runs back. He can possie up for the prize.

CAMROLLER (1) will take further benefit from his latest appearance where he was third up after 12 months off the scene. Settled in the running line from a second line gate, he was 8m from the winner. Striking trouble two starts back, he has the options from the gate to challenge.

THE SPORTZ STAR (6) has no favours from the outside paint for this battle where he will be second up from a spell. Doing his share of early work last time out, he can be making a play in this line up.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (5) does his best work when able to find the poles which makes it a tougher ask from the wide gate here. Chasing behind AWAYWEGO last start, he is a podium hope here.

SELECTIONS: HE SAID SHE SAID (2), CAMROLLER (1), THE SPORTZ STAR (6), BEEF CITY BLAZE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HE SAID SHE SAID (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (4)
is maturing and lines up here with a pair of wins sandwiching a pair of 2nd placed returns. Finding the pocket trail from gate 2 last start, he had too much bite up the passing lane to claim a 3m margin. Just a half-head away two starts back, he can be too sharp again.

MANLY BOY (2) started from inside the second line two runs back where he was resuming from a spell and via the passing lane was under 4m from the winner. A tidy effort here on Thursday, he secures the gate to throw down the challenge.

VODKA EN ICE (1) returns from a spell after his last outing came back in January when asked to hang tough. Breaking his maiden on this track three starts back, he has the gate to feature fresh.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (5) will be on the back-up from Friday night at The Creek where he will be fourth up from a spell. Doing some early work here two back when holding 3rd, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: CHEDDAR MADE BETA (4), MANLY BOY (2), VODKA EN ICE (1), MAJOR MISCHIEF (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEDDAR MADE BETA (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

ITSMEGS (7) was sent forward from gate 4 last start to sit parked and after doing it the tough way proved too gritty in claiming a 2m margin. With an economical trip on offer here, she can be tucked away and when the gaps arrive make the closing shot a winning one.

LITTLEDEE (3) eased from gate 5 last time out to secure position before making a wide move off the track to get within 4m of the winner. Buried in the run two starts back over the AP mile when hemmed away from inside the second line, she can be handy enough to make a play in this contest.

ELPINE SALLY (1) has placed at her past two starts, the latest from gate 3 when showing early hustle before taking the trail and finishing 9m adrift of the winner. With the options she can feature again.

MAJOR GRANDEUR (8) fired out from gate 2 last start and setting it up in front was unable to repel the closing challenge of FLOORLESS. Chasing from the second line here, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: ITSMEGS (7), LITTLEDEE (3), ELPINE SALLY (1), MAJOR GRANDEUR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ITSMEGS (7) to win

RACE NINE

MANY DELIGHTS (4)
struck a wheel issue in the run last start and was forced to retire from the event. Easing away from inside the second line the start prior but too far back, it followed a tough effort wide off the track at Marburg. He can press forward here and can do the work if needed to arrive.

FEEL THE THRILL (7) will be needing a slice of luck at some stage as he looks set to be hemmed away in the run, but if the gaps open in time, this is a race that would be well within his reach. Just 5m away last start after grafting it out first over, he can issue the challenge if the gaps present.

JUKEBOX JET (8) held the pocket trail last start from gate 1 and with the easy trip behind the speed was 8m from the winner BETTOR MEMORIES. In this line up he can secure position to feature.

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (2) has gone past the five-year milestone since his last victory. Unable to go with them last start, he has the early hustle to find the poles here which give him place hopes.

SELECTIONS: MANY DELIGHTS (4), FEEL THE THRILL (7), JUKEBOX JET (8), NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MANY DELIGHTS (4) to win
