RACE ONE

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (6) tackled the 70Final last start from gate 10 over the AP mile where he was buried in the run. Rattling home in the closing stages to grab 3rd behind TARGARYEN, it followed a tough 2nd when sitting parked in the heat of that series. Despite the tough gate he can take this.

WEEWAH (2) started from inside the second line last time out and buried in the run was searching for open space over the closing stages. Grabbing 3rd when 4m from the winner MISS VERSTAPPEN, she finds conditions here to get to the poles first and from there can challenge.

HECTOR (9) struck trouble here two starts back and was retired with a wheel complaint after the first lap. Bouncing back with a smart win last time out, he can be making a closing raid again here.

KANYE CRUSADER (4) settled rearward from a second line alley here two starts back and was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages for the silver. He can be joining in late in this.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (6), WEEWAH (2), HECTOR (9), KANYE CRUSADER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (6) to win

RACE TWO

ZARAS A TREASURE (1) set the tempo from gate 1 at the sprint trip here last week and after a steady opening half, dialled it up to set the tempo for a 56.8 closing half. Grabbed in the final strides to be beaten a head, she lands the options, with the only query her winless record at the middle trip.

MONTEREY JACK (5) started from the second line here two starts back and lobbing the 1x1 trail in the run, was able to charge home in the closing stages to claim a 3m margin. Locked away last start and not receiving the smoothest passage, he can press forward to issue a challenge.

THE MAHARANI (2) been runner-up at her past two outings, the latest when asked to sit parked over this trip. Working hard to be 5m from the winner as the race favourite, this looks a tougher.

HIGH ON MONTANA (8) eased from gate 5 last time out and was trying to make closing metres wide off the track when finishing down the line. Just 2m away the start prior, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: ZARAS A TREASURE (1), MONTEREY JACK (5), THE MAHARANI (2), HIGH ON MONTANA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ZARAS A TREASURE (1) to win

RACE THREE

PEPPA BLISS (6)
made an error last start which has seen her banished to the ODM position. Never in the mix after the error, she could not get into the contest over the 2138m the start prior after retreating from 5 after starting as the fav. Despite the tough gate, this looks well within reach.

BONNIE GROVE (10) was first up in Qld after 11 months off the scene last time out when tackling the AP mile. Showing some early hustle before fading in the closing stages as the smart 3YO FUTURE ASSURED claimed a dominant win, she can be sharper second up back to The Triangle.

JAZIAH (1) will take some benefit from her first up outing where she was having her first appearance in seven months. With the options from this alley, she is in the mix.

MISSTREPO (5) has faced wide gates at her past two outings, the latest when retreating from this same alley. Trying to make closing metres wide off the track, she is a podium hope in this.

SUGGESTED BET: PEPPA BLISS (6) to win

RACE FOUR

EVERYTHING HAPPENS (2)
had been building towards a victory after finishing as the runner-up in successive starts from wide gates. Franking that assessment here last week from outside the second line, he charged home wide off the track in strong closing splits for a slick win. The improved gate is an added plus.

ITS SUPER EASY (3) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when settling back in the pack from a second line gate before making some nice closing metres to be 4m from the winner. Setting the tempo from gate 3 two starts back and gripping on for 3rd, he can make a challenge here.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (5) fired off the arm from gate 4 here two starts back and from the front secured a steady opening half but could not see it out. 6m from HECTOR last start, he looms as a podium hope.

AMERICAN FLYER (6) showed some early speed before securing the 1x1 trail and grabbed 2nd behind HECTOR. A winner here four starts back, the gate does her no favours for this contest.

SELECTIONS: EVERYTHING HAPPENS (2), ITS SUPER EASY (3), JILLIBY JACKPOT (5), AMERICAN FLYER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: EVERYTHING HAPPENS (2) to win

RACE FIVE

SIGNOR JUJON (9) will strip fitter from his latest outing when resuming from a spell and chasing home in the latter stages from the running line. Some early tempo could be generated here and with the right cart into the contest, he can look to make the closing shot a winning one.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (4) was sent forward from this gate last start and found the front. Trying to see it out, he was collared in the closing stages to be just a half-head from the winner. Charging home to score victory here three starts back, he can find position to issue the challenge.

MOTU AMETHYST (3) may not have the most inspiring numbers next to her name but might just appreciate the set up in this battle. Finding the line smartly last start after retreating to the rear, she can turn it around.

JANG PEL (1) found the pocket trail here two starts back and took the passing lane to grab the silver. This is a step up but with the chance of a cosy trip behind the speed, he can fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (9), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (4), MOTU AMETHYST (3), JANG PEL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (9) to win

RACE SIX

GETALOADATHISBRO (4)
faced gate 5 last start and after pressing forward to find position received cover but ultimately finished 7m in arrears of the winner. Wide off the track the start prior when 6m from the winner, there looks to be some early tempo and pressure which should favour his chances.

DEVELSTIX (2) fired out from gate 4 to find the front here two starts back and taking control was able to see it out with a head margin to spare. Working home wide off the track last start after starting from the second line, he can get forward to throw down the challenge.

CHASIN DREAMZ (5) ended a streak last start that had seen her in the money in 14 successive appearances, fading in the closing stages. Freshened since that outing, she can bounce back into the money.

ABBEY DIADEMA (9) was aiming up for the hat-trick last start from the second line when making nice metres int eh closing stages to get within 2m of the winner. The tempo will suit her closing hopes.

SELECTIONS: GETALOADATHISBRO (4), DEVELSTIX (2), CHASIN DREAMZ (5), ABBEY DIADEMA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GETALOADATHISBRO (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

BOKHARI (8)
has been runner-up in 2 of her 3 starts to date, the latest when easing off the inside to find the line nicely in the latter stages. Just 3m from the short-priced favourite TELL ME THIS, it followed a 4m margin when settled in the trail. With the right trip she can get on the board.

DESTINY BLUES (3) was asked to hang tough when parked last start and after the tough trip faded to the rear. Two starts back she was making some nice closing metres from gate 6 which followed a 2nd when best of the rest behind the big winner HARRY KANE. From the gate she can challenge.

HEAVENLY SEA (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some point from this alley, but her form since arriving in Qld has seen her hot the board in 4 of her 5 on this deck. She can add another to that tally.

BARROOM BLITZ (1) is a 5YO mare on debut for Michael Nutley. Landing the good alley first up, she has trialled in good order for her first appearance and finds a steady maiden to kick off in.

SELECTIONS: BOKHARI (8), DESTINY BLUES (3), HEAVENLY SEA (7), BARROOM BLITZ (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BOKHARI (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

FLY CHEVAL (5) was back to Redcliffe last start after competing through the show week and was snagged back from this same gate to be buried in the run. Making some metres in the closing stages, this race looks wide open, and she can stake a claim for the victory.

MANOFLISA (3) was wide off the track in the closing stages last week and had the trip to arrive in the closing stages at huge odds. Taking further benefit from the outing where he was second up from a freshen, he can settle handy to throw down the challenge once again.

NEVAEVEBEND (4) has not been too far away in recent outings, the latest when angled to the inside to search for the shortcuts. Finishing 6m from the winner BERTILS FIREFOX, she is a podium hope here.

LUCINDA JAMAR (1) did some early work to secure position last start from gate 3 before receiving the 1x1 trail. Midfield behind ALWAYS AT NIGHT, she has the options for the trip to feature.

SELECTIONS: FLY CHEVAL (5), MANOFLISA (3), NEVAEVEBEND (4), LUCINDA JAMAR (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
