RACE ONE

Following out a good beginner, COPY WRITER (8) will be needing to get into the passing lane with momentum and if that can be achieved, this is within reach. Looking to lead throughout last start, she was in front until being grabbed on the wire. Buried two runs back when 3rd, she can strike.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9) was a different horse here last week when put on the engine from gate 1 and allowed to slide. Pulling clear in the stretch, there was only one challenger out of the pack and despite tippy toeing near the line, he held on to smash his own previous PB. Confidence can help.

CHAL BE (7) was a winner here seven starts back when taking them all the way. In the six starts since that win he has been off the second line. Striking trouble here on Tuesday, he can chime in here.

ARTISITIC SAINT (4) was beaten by gate 7 last start in a qualifier when retreating and then never able to get into the contest. Not too far away from gate 10 the start prior, this looks more suitable.

SELECTIONS: COPY WRITER (8), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9), CHAL BE (7), ARTISITIC SAINT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 4-7-8-9

RACE TWO

The early mapping and tempo will be critical for a few of the front-line players and with a strong set up in front, it might just be ALTANA BLUE (9) that can be in position to capitalise. Runner-up from the pocket trail at Redcliffe three starts back, he sat parked last start in lick time around Marburg. The big concern is his winless record on this deck.

GOLDEN LACE (2) has good speed out of the machine and from this alley can be looking to dart across to find the poles in the early stages. The options will be on offer thereafter, but with her only win on this deck coming when leading throughout, she can be in a position to challenge.

MI FURIOSO TORO (7) resumes from a spell after his last appearance back in early July where he was forced to hang tough first over and faded out in a slick mile. A big winner two starts back, he has claims.

HARRY KANE (10) started from inside the second line last time out and was hemmed away with nowhere to go over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Gate 7 was his undoing the start prior and from this alley he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (9), GOLDEN LACE (2), MI FURIOSO TORO (7), HARRY KANE (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

After a strong effort here two starts back when narrowly beaten, HIT THE TRACK (3) looked to have found the right conditions last start to break a winning drought. Finding the pocket trail from this gate, when the gap presented, he had the superior closing speed to arrive. A repeat is achievable.

ARCHILLES (7) made the most of conditions last start to dart across and take control in the early stages. Once in front, he was able to dictate and see it out with 2m to spare in claiming a career PB. Despite being given no favours from this alley, he is going well enough to issue a challenge.

FOR NO REASON (9) started from inside the second line last start and was soon hemmed away and searching for the gaps when finishing 5m in arrears. With the right trail, she can be chiming in here.

MISTER WOODPORT (1) looks set to enjoy the economical trip in behind the speed here and be awaiting the gaps to make a play. Under 4m from the winner last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: HIT THE TRACK (3), ARCHILLES (7), FOR NO REASON (9), MISTER WOODPORT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HIT THE TRACK (3) to win

RACE FOUR

Backing up from Tuesday where he held the front and set a strong tempo, HE SAID SHE SAID (2), was wore down in the stretch as the flying TARGARYEN arrived for the prize. Runner-up to SLICK SOPHIE two starts back along the passing lane, he finds the right conditions here to cash in.

THE IRISH EAGLE (1) has now had 22 attempts here at headquarters and been unable to sink his talons into a victory. Angled to the poles last time from gate 10 and buried in transit, he was making some nice metres over the closing stages. Closer to the action, he can throw down the challenge.

REGULUS (3) has been sectionally super in recent starts but just cant seem to find conditions for a breakthrough. Attacking the line sharply from deep in the pack last start, the smaller field will help his chances.

ISOLATION (5) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings and brings a last start Redcliffe win on his form card to this contest. A starchy effort to score form the second line, he has claims here.

SELECTIONS: HE SAID SHE SAID (2), THE IRISH EAGLE (1), REGULUS (3), ISOLATION (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HE SAID SHE SAID (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Making the most of the lamp lighting duties on The Triangle two starts back, GETALOADATHISBRO (1) took control from gate 4 and was able to take them all the way. Unable to take up the same role last start at the 2040 trip, he faded in the closing stages. Back to this alley at the mile is a big plus.

JACOBS THUNDER (8) was a winner here five runs back when doing his share of work in the run and fighting them off to claim a narrow margin. Runner-up at his next appearance when only a half-neck in arrears, not much has been in his favour in the three runs since. With a cosy trip on offer, he can challenge.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2) pressed the issue last start at Marburg and worked his way to the front to dictate and see it out with 3m to spare. Runner-up in both starts prior, he can be close enough to feature.

IM LOKI (3) did it the tough way last start when sitting parked outside AYE AYE CAPTAIN who powered up in front with a 54.1 mile. Holding on for the bronze, he looks set to do it tough again.

SELECTIONS: GETALOADATHISBRO (1), JACOBS THUNDER (8), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (2), IM LOKI (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GETALOADATHISBRO (1) to win

RACE SIX

Banished to the trials last start for successive indiscretions, FAST TRACKER (2) has been back to the workouts to earn the return ticket. A winner in successive starts after returning from a long spell, tough gates and a sizzling mile did not help at his next two. From this alley, he can capitalise.

MISTER DIAMOND (5) rolled forward from this same gate last start to sit parked and despite the tough trip was still giving deep into the stretch when holding 3rd behind SLICK SOPHIE. Fading behind THE HIGH COMMANDER the start prior, this might just be a shade or two easier to throw it down.

HES PERFECTLY IDEAL (6) has a narrow 2nd to BRIDGE COIN sandwiched between a pair of victories on this deck in his past three starts. Taking them all the way last time over the 2138m, the gate dents the chances.

BRIDGE COIN (3) had been building towards something and franked that when charging home to score here three runs back and followed it with another win. He has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: FAST TRACKER (2), MISTER DIAMOND (5), HES PERFECTLY IDEAL (6), BRIDGE COIN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FAST TRACKER (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

Building nicely into her latest campaign, BOURBONONTHEROCKS (4) will be looking to make it two wins for the week after scoring here on Tuesday. Tat was from the 30m tape after she tracked into the contest strongly and swept down the centre of the track to score. Back to the front tape is a huge bonus.

MILLY AN EYRE (2) is still chasing down her first Qld victory as she continues to return some consistent performances. Finding the pocket trail last start, she was making a closing play to be just a half-neck short of the prize. Settling up near the action, she can again throw down the challenge.

INDEFENSIBLE (6) tackled the open class event last start over the 2647m where he was hemmed away and found them out of reach. 3rd here two starts back, from 10m he has claims in this set up.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (7) made a starting error last start and was back in the pack and chasing thereafter. A winner from the mobile here three runs back, her fate is normally known within 100m of the start.

SELECTIONS: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (4), MILLY AN EYRE (2), INDEFENSIBLE (6), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

A Redcliffe winner four starts back when sent forward to sit parked from gate 4, ITSMEGS (10) has been able to hit the board in all three runs since that victory. Easing across to find the running line from gate 6 last start, she found the line in good order when 5m from the winner HIT THE TRACK. Despite a tricky gate, this is well within reach.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) burrowed through to hold the front from this gate last start at this trip but overcooked it early and was out of bullets swinging for home. He can secure the front at a cheaper price in this contest and if able to pinch a panel or two, will throw down a big challenge.

ELPINE SALLY (9) is knocking on the door after placing in her past three in succession, the latest when 3m from the winner after doing some early work. Trailing through early, she has podium claims once again.

CIRCLE LINE (7) cops no favours from the outside paint, yet he has been consistent of late and never far from the action. A Redcliffe winner three starts back, he can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: ITSMEGS (10), WILD ABOUT TOWN (1), ELPINE SALLY (9), CIRCLE LINE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ITSMEGS (10) to win
