RACE ONE

A mixed 2YO/3YO event to kick off the card where the 3YOs look to have edge. Despite the 40m impost, PARIS KAY (7) can look to build off her effort last week where she shattered the 3YO class record over the mobile mile. First up from a let-up in that contest, she can repeat.

NORTIE NORTIE (4) will take benefit from his first up run here last week when tackling the mobile mile. Eased to secure position, he was well back in the pack and not aided by having the sulky tyre flattened, Back to age only opposition, he can look to make a challenge.

SHEZA CHANCE (5) resumes from a spell after her last start victory where she was able to step cleanly and take them all the way off the front tape. Opening the pipes at the trials, she has claims.

CONFISCATED (6) returns to Qld and joins the Graham Dwyer barn after a stint in South Australia where he was the winner of two races. With a tidy record here, he can feature first up.

SELECTIONS: PARIS KAY (7), NORTIE NORTIE (4), SHEZA CHANCE (5), CONFISCATED (6)
SUGGESTED BET: PARIS KAY (7) to win

RACE TWO

On the back-up from Friday night, RIGONDEAUX (3) can tend to mis it up but at his best, looms large in this battle from the 10m. Sent to the front two back, he was collared in the closing stages by the subsequent winner BOURBONONTHEROCKS and with the right trip can put it together for this.

KENNY KEKO (1) has hit the board in five of her six on this deck and should appreciate a return to the front line after coming from bigger handicaps in recent attempts. A winner from the 20m impost three starts back, she was asked to hang tough last start when not beaten far and can throw it down.

MATATOKI (5) should appreciate returning to battling his own gait after two of his past three have been against the pacers. A tidy effort last start at Redcliffe, he handles the trip and can make a play.

KINGDOM COME (6) is on the back-up from Saturday night where he clashed with the open ranks. Enjoying a return to this grade of contest, he has the big handicap but can be making a closing raid.

SELECTIONS: RIGONDEAUX (3), KENNY KEKO (1), MATATOKI (5), KINGDOM COME (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RIGONDEAUX (3) to win

RACE THREE

A mid-race error was critical last start for JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) who galloped out of contention as a result. Safely away from when the strands released, she was into stride nicely two starts back when only collared late in the stretch. With limited mid-race pressure, she can see it out.

WILLIS GRAHAM (3) found the pocket trail last start from the 10m handicap and with the good trip finished midfield when chasing home behind BOURBONONTHEROCKS. Buried away two starts back, he can utilise his early manners to settle in a handy spot to throw down the challenge.

KAPAI (7) was a winner here four starts back at the mobile mile where he was resuming from a spell. His starting manners proved costly two starts back from the 30m tape, but he can chime in here.

ZEALOUS SPUR (8) was having his first start in Aus last time out when missing the start under mobile conditions. With more experience from behind the tapes, he stays under notice second up.

SELECTIONS: JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1), WILLIS GRAHAM (3), KAPAI (7), ZEALOUS SPUR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST CALL ME MOLLY (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Making his race debut last week when facing a second line gate, BORELLA (5) settled back in the pack and made good ground to finish 3m from the winner. Taking plenty of experience from the outing, he can overcome a potentially sticky gate to capitalise in this line up.

FREE THINKER (3) was on debut last week when eased from gate 6 to settle back in the pack. When asked to make a closing raid, he was strong to the line behind the smart winner SKY BLU to grab the bronze. With the added experience and improved gate, he can challenge.

DOLLAR BUCKS (1) secured the best return of his career last start when running the winner to a 2m margin at Redcliffe. With the benefits of this gate, he can be chiming into the money.

QUEENSLANDER (8) is a Tintin In America gelding on debut for Darrel Graham. With a sound preparatory trial where he was not taken off a helmet, he can be in the mix first up.

SELECTIONS: BORELLA (5), FREE THINKER (3), DOLLAR BUCKS (1), QUEENSLANDER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BORELLA (5) to win

RACE FIVE

Hitting some good areas in recent times, THE MAHARANI (1) will be chasing back-to-back victories after finishing in the money in four of her past five starts. Content to be crossed early before moving out for the retake, she was able to see out the 2138m trip. With all the gate benefits, she can cash-in.

EUGENIEN (5) will be third-up from a spell after finishing with the bronze in both runs since returning. Taken to Tamworth last start for a NSW Breeders Heat, she was asked to sit parked and doing the heavy lifting was game to finish 5m from the winner. She can make a play here.

SHEREACTS (8) tackled a mare’s qualifier last start from gate 2 when finishing down the line behind PARKED IN HEAVEN. With an economical trip behind the speed, she can make a play.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9) was a dominant winner two starts back when allowed to stroll forward and control the tempo. Buried in the run last start when 4m from the winner, he has claims here.

SELECTIONS: THE MAHARANI (1), EUGENIEN (5), SHEREACTS (8), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: THE MAHARANI (1) to win

RACE SIX

First up for the new stable last start SO MUCH MORE (6) was given no favours from outside the second line. Settle rearward, it was a likeable last 800m in some smart closing splits behind ITZ CHEROKEE JACK. Despite another tough gate, the tempo will be hectic here for him to descend.

HY VOLTAGE (4) pressed on from gate 6 last start to take control with the lamp lighting duties coming at the expense of a sub 27 opening panel. Trying to fight them off late, the early burn took its toll. A winner from this gate four starts back, he can get forward to throw down the challenge.

RYANS GANGSTER (2) is on the back-up from Saturday night where he had drawn well in a second division qualifier and claimed the cash. Strong to the line two starts back on The Triangle, he can be joining in here.

SMOOTH CASH (5) was second up from a spell last start when sent forward from gate 3 to find the front and look to take them all the way. Holding on for the silver, he can make a play once again.

SELECTIONS: SO MUCH MORE (6), HY VOLTAGE (4), RYANS GANGSTER (2), SMOOTH CASH (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  SO MUCH MORE (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

Stripping fitter following his first up effort over this trip, MARETTI (3) can look to go one better. Firing off the arm to take control from gate 3, he led them deep into the stretch, only to be collared near the line by a swooping KEY LARGO. He gets the gate to see it out.

ROCK BOTTOM (6) cops another tough gate, with his recent barriers making it tough work. Sitting parked at the mile last start, he was grafting it out when holding on for the bronze. He may need to roll the sleeves again but will be up to the challenge.

ROLL ONE OVER (1) backs up from this same gate on Saturday night. He should find this a little easier and with the economical trip in behind the speed can be ready to chime in when the gaps open.

ADMIRAL BRONSKI (9) started from inside the second line two starts back and was slicing between runners to attack the line in style for the silver behind APHORISM. He can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS: MARETTI (3), ROCK BOTTOM (6), ROLL ONE OVER (1), ADMIRAL BRONSKI (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MARETTI (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

In super form since arriving in Qld, BETTORS HOPE (7) started in red figures last start when looking to remain undefeated. Buried in the run, the run had merit when running the winner, THE MAHARANI to 1m. Despite the wide gate, he finds the right line up to bounce back.

GOALKICKER (5) was returning from a spell last start when firing off the arm from gate 1 to take control. With a steady opening half, she was trying to fight them off in the stretch and held on for the silver as CIPY WRITER landed up the lane. Fitter for the run, she can throw down a challenge.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (6) has placed at his past three starts, the latest when grabbing the bronze after releasing from gate 1 and chiming in. The gates tings here, but this looks a shade easier.

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (3) faces a step up her after her las start 3rd when asked to do it tough outside the leader. In for the fight to be under 2m from the winner, she is a podium hope again.

SELECTIONS: BETTORS HOPE (7), GOALKICKER (5), LITTLELIONELJAMES (6), LOVIN MISS DIXIE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTORS HOPE (7) to win

RACE NINE

Yet to miss the money since joining the Jack Butler barn, LEITHEN BURN (2) lines up from the top gate in search of the hat-trick. Pressing on from gate 6 last start to find the front, he was too strong in the closing stages for a new PB rate. He can fire out here and complete the threepeat.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (1) is on the back-up from Saturday night and comes into this contest in top form. A big winner over the middle trip when taking them all the way four starts back, she placed at her next two, and then just three days ago scored a slick all the way victory. She has the gate to throw it down.

JUST ROKIN (8)
eased from gate 6 to find the poles last start and was then slicing between runners over the closing stages as WARFARE took them all the way. With the easy trip, she will be probing.

ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (7) was able to overcome the wide gate last start when sent forward in the early stages to sit parked and graft out a starchy victory. Despite the ODM embargo, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: LEITHEN BURN (2), MOLLIESMARYELLE (1), JUST ROKIN (8), ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LEITHEN BURN (2) to win

RACE TEN

A nixed race to close the card with some 2YOs stepping up against the more experienced campaigners. Last start winner OUR FRIEND (4) can look to force the issue early here, with his best work done up on the engine. Grafting it out when parked to score at Redcliffe last start, he can repeat.

CHEER LEADER (8) is one of the 2YOs stepping up for this contest after claiming the Triad Consolation for the fillies at her last appearance. Making the most of gate 1 to take them all the way in that outing, it followed a sharp win two starts back. She has talent and can issue a challenge.

MISS FROUFROU (1) broke through for her first victory last start when aided by a top steer to get the leaders back and then land the loot up the lane. Despite taking on the older horses, the gate helps.

THE HARRIS HAWK (6) had to settle for some minor money here on Friday despite starting as the fav and is given no favours from the wide gate here. Runner-up at his previous two, he can make a play.

SELECTIONS: OUR FRIEND (4), CHEER LEADER (8), MISS FROUFROU (1), THE HARRIS HAWK (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
