RACE ONE

Chasing a fourth successive victory last start, BOURBONONTHEROCKS (6) was out in front and trying to fend off the challengers when collared in the last strides, finishing a neck from the passing lane victory SUGARINSPICE. A winner at the mobile mile two back, she can descend on them.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (5) left the tapes cleanly but then lost her balance soon after and was forced to settle at the rear. Under the circumstances the run had merit when she made a move and was then pushed four-wide at the 400m. A winner at this trip six runs back, she can challenge.

RIGONDEAUX (7) tends to be a hit and miss, with the past two outings a miss when making errors that proved costly. With a 6 of his 10 wins from behind the start car, he has claims here.

MILLY AN EYRE (3) continues to run honest races as she builds towards a first win in the Sunshine State, placed here at her past four in succession. With early speed, she can fire off the arm.

SELECTIONS: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (6), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (5), RIGONDEAUX (7), MILLY AN EYRE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BOURBONONTHEROCKS (6) to win

RACE TWO

Building towards a victory after four successive placings, THE HARRIS HAWK (6) capitalises here two starts back when overcoming the second line to charge over the tip and claim a narrow margin. Making it back-to-back wins with a victory here Tuesday, he can swoop for the threepeat.

PEBBLE SANDS (5) was a winner here four runs back when sent forward off the arm from this same gate to take control. Pulling clear for a 6m margin in a new career PB, it has not really been in his favour in the three runs since. He can get forward here and ask some questions.

ONLY ONE DON (2) was sent to sit parked here two runs back and despite doing it the tough way, was able to graft out the victory. Strong to the line last start, he can feature from this alley.

CALVERT HOT SHOT (4) eased from gate 7 to sit rearward last time out before picking off a few over the closing stages to be 7m from the winner. Settling closer will aid his chances in this battle.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (6), PEBBLE SANDS (5), ONLY ONE DON (2), CALVERT HOT SHOT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HARRIS HAWK (6) to win

RACE THREE

First up from a spell last time out, JET FORCE (4) was soon snookered away on the poles from inside the second line, five runners back. Angling wide approaching the 400m, he was five wide swinging for home and was strong to the line in grabbing the bronze. Fitter for the run, tis is within reach.

KELLY LOUISE (8) was first up in Qld last start when starting from the second line over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Making some nice metres to close out for the victory, she will take benefit from the run as she heads to The Creek for the first time and secures the second line options.

MISTER DECORUM (2) was sent forward to sit parked from gate 6 at Redcliffe last start and despite a torrid trip, was still giving to be under 6m from the winner. An improved gate is in his favour.

DARGOS PET (6) received the saloon passage when the leader drifted up the track at the 500m pole last start. Darting through and seizing a break to claim the prize, the wider gate stings here.

SELECTIONS: JET FORCE (4), KELLY LOUISE (8), MISTER DECORUM (2), DARGOS PET (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JET FORCE (4) to win

RACE FOUR

Hitting good areas in recent starts, VINDICATE (5) will go in search of successive wins after a PB win last start from gate 5 at the mile. Firing out before taking cover, she landed the winning blow up the passing lane for a half-head margin. Taking them all the way four starts back, she can fire some early bullets.

UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (6) claimed a mare’s qualifier two starts back when sent forward to find the front and taking control was able to pull clear for a 6m margin. Luckless last start when buried in the run from inside the second line, she comes into this contest fresh and can descend off the tempo.

MIGHTY GEORGE (4) has not had much in his favour of late, his most recent efforts when retreating from outside the front line in successive outings. Finding position cheaply here can see him chime in.

GOLDEN SAND (3) was up to his old tricks and made a starting error last start that saw him banished to the ODM. Trialling to remove the embargo, he will ensure a genuine tempo.

SELECTIONS: VINDICATE (5), UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (6), MIGHTY GEORGE (4), GOLDEN SAND (3)
SUGGESTED BET: VINDICATE (5) to win

RACE FIVE

SIGNOR JUJON (5)
found the front last start from gate 2 and was looking to take them all the way but was unable to see it out. A blanket finish saw him under 3m from the winner but not in the money as THE HARRIS HAWK arrived. Building back to full fitness, he finds an open contest.

ALL THE FOURS (4) has had two runs back from a spell with both runs at the mile. Unable to go with them last time out when the speed went on down the back, his first up effort was sound and back to this grade of contest, can look to be much sharper.

BOLD COWBOY (1) has just a solitary minor in six appearances here on the big deck but comes to town with some handy form. A grass track winner at Kilcoy two runs back, the gate is a big help.

NON PASSARE (2) was beaten by the outside front line at Redcliffe last start after retreating to the rear and unable to bridge the gap. Settling closer here can help his chances.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (5), ALL THE FOURS (4), BOLD COWBOY (1), NON PASSARE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (5) to win

RACE SIX

Receiving no favours from the outside paint, the tempo might just suit REGULUS (7) to make a closing play. Retreating from gate 4 at Redcliffe over the 228m trip last start, he was sound to the line two back behind the airborne MOLLIESMARYELLE. Small field and tempo will help.

MI FURIOSO TORO (2) was second up from a spell last start at Redcliffe when sent to the front deep into the red from gate 1 over the 1780m. In his usual power running pattern out in front, he set the sizzling 1.54.2 rate in wilting into 3rd. He will be in front for a long way in this as he throws it down.

SLICK SOPHIE (4) was a winner here three runs back when finding the front and taking them all the way to score a tidy victory at the mile. Beaten in mare’s company at her past two, she can feature here.

SQUARE DEALER (6) will strip fitter following his last start 3rd where he was first up since April. Releasing the speed from gate 1, he held 3rd when just 1m in arrears. The gate stings second up.

SELECTIONS: REGULUS (7), MI FURIOSO TORO (2), SLICK SOPHIE (4), SQUARE DEALER (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Missing the money just once in 8 attempts here at headquarters, CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7) added another minor to the tally here last time when starting from this same gate. Pressing on to find the front, he was trying to see it out when a half-neck short of the prize. In an open contest, he is up to it.

ARCHILLES (3) has been racing consistently in recent weeks and lines up here on a streak of five successive runs where he has finished in the money. Setting the tempo last start, he was unable to repel the closing challenge of GOSLING IN FLIGHT and again will issue a challenge.

TINGE OF FEAR (9) was a passing lane 3rd here three runs back, with both subsequent runs not really working in her favour. Pressing through to secure position, she can fill the minors.

MAJOR SLIP UP (2) fired off the arm last start from this same gate to take control and from the front was able to see it out for a career PB winning rate. He can find the poles to make his play.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7), ARCHILLES (3), TINGE OF FEAR (9), MAJOR SLIP UP (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

Making his first appearance in Qld last week from gate 4 at the mile, HESTON ZOOLANDER (3) was impressive in fighting on for 2nd when just a head from the winner TIMZEE. Sitting parked throughout, he was in for the fight. Taking benefit from the run and an easier trip can see him arrive.

NO DOUBT (2) was looking to take them all the way last start over the mile and after finding the front from gate 1, was unable to stave off the challengers. Just 4m from the winner here two starts back in a much stronger battle at this trip, he has the gate to throw it down.

TIMZEE (5) was first up from a spell last time out when sent to the front from gate 3 and able to see it out, holding on for a narrow victory. The gate stings, but with added fitness he can feature.

BE MY ROCK (8) was a smart Redcliffe winner two starts back when returning from a spell after overcoming an outside front line gate. Grabbing 2nd when second up, he will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: HESTON ZOOLANDER (3), NO DOUBT (2), TIMZEE (5), BE MY ROCK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HESTON ZOOLANDER (3) to win

RACE NINE

Chasing down a hat-trick of victories last start, HARRY KANE (1) settled in the 1x1 trail and despite breaking 55 for the last 800m, he was out of the money in 4th, under 1.5m from the winner. Charging home over the top of them two starts back at the mile, he is untested in Aus beyond the sprint trip but has the right gate.

CHAL BE (10) appreciated a drop in grade last start where he was able to press forward from gate 6 to take control and hold them off for an effortless 6m margin. Strong to the line after retreating to the rear from gate 7 three runs back, he can track through here to throw down a challenge.

GOLDEN LACE (4) scored a win on the grass deck at Kilcoy three runs back and followed that with a 3rd here to THE MAHARANI. With early hustle to settle handy, the 2138m is the concern.

HEARTBREAK (9) snared a mare’s qualifier last start where she was able to burrow through from gate 1 and take them all the way. With some confidence off that win, she can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: HARRY KANE (1), CHAL BE (10), GOLDEN LACE (4), HEARTBREAK (9)
SUGGESTED BET:
