RACE ONE

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (3) started from outside the second line last start where he was angled to the poles to look for the shortcuts but was left behind as JOEY LINCOLN powered away to a dominant victory. A beaten fav the start prior over the AP mile, he finds conditions to capitalise.

MALINJANG (1) will take benefit from his last outing where he was returning from a spell and faced the outside second line gate when finishing down the line. An all the way winner over this trip five starts back, he can burrow through to be in position to challenge.

HES SWEET (8) fired out to take them all the way last start from gate 2, holding on for a narrow victory. Stripping fitter for that run where he was returning from a freshen, he can chime in here.

KATACHA MAN (5) did some early work last time to secure a forward position and was chasing in the closing stages to be midfield behind KANYE CRUSADER. He may need to roll the sleeves here.

SELECTIONS: IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (3), MALINJANG (1), HES SWEET (8), KATACHA MAN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (3) to win

RACE TWO

COURAGEOUS SAM (1) should relish the opportunity to start from the good barrier after his manners have seen start from wider gates. A winner five starts back when pressing on to take control from gate 4, he has been back in the pack chasing in recent starts. He can dictate.

MONTEREY JACK (5) started from gate 1 last time and secured the soft trip in behind the speed when finishing 4m adrift of the winner ZARAS A TREASURE. Asked to do it the tough way two starts back from this same alley when holding on for 3rd, he might need to hang tough to challenge again.

TRACER BULLET (7) was sent forward to sit parked from gate 6 last time out and despite the tough tip was in for the fight when holding 3rd. With the soft trip, he can be probing for openings.

SHADYS CULLECT (2) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when sent forward to graft it out first over and finishing just a lip short of victory. From this gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS SAM (1), MONTEREY JACK (5), TRACER BULLET (7), SHADYS CULLECT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS SAM (1) to win

RACE THREE

GO JO JOLT (9)
eased across from gate 5 to find the 1x1 trail here two starts back and was trying to make a late raid when holding 3rd behind CLARES FOOL. Sent to the post as the punters elect over the AP mile last start, she set the tempo but again it was CLARES FOOL that was too classy. This suits.

JAMAICAIN RESORT (2) will take benefit from his outing here last time out when eased to the poles and making some closing metres. First up in six months in that battle, he has good early speed and from this gate can look for the front, a position he was successful from here three runs back.

THE CROM (1) was a winner here four starts back when finishing over the top of them in the closing stages. Not too far away in three starts since, he can secure the economical trip here to feature.

BERTILS FIREFOX (7) has two wins in his past three starts where he has been able to find the front and dictate the tempo. Buried in the run here, he will be searching for the gaps to join in.

SELECTIONS: GO JO JOLT (9), JAMAICAIN RESORT (2), THE CROM (1), BERTILS FIREFOX (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GO JO JOLT (9) to win

RACE FOUR

FLO RYDA (3)
rolled forward from gate 4 to sit parked last start over this trip and despite the tough trip was able to grind out a tough win with a head to spare. Buried on the inside two starts back, he found the line smartly to be just 3m from the winner and tucking in here can look to arrive.

MUMMYS BOY (4) has claimed the silver at his past two starts, the latest when working wide off the track in sharp time. Looming up, it was only KANYE CRUSADER that possessed superior closing speed. Trying to fight them off two runs back when beaten an eyelash, he can throw it down.

TUNGSTEN TERROR (2) has 1 win and 1 minor on his three visits to The Triangle and finds the gate to fire the early bullets here. Gate 6 was his undoing last start at headquarters, with the gate a big asset for this battle.

SELECTIONS: FLO RYDA (3), MUMMYS BOY (4), TUNGSTEN TERROR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FLO RYDA (3) to win

RACE FIVE

WAVEDANCER (1)
is still hunting his first win of 2022 as it gets closer after finishing as the runner-up in 3 of his past 4 starts. Making a late rally after easing from gate 5 to settle back in the pack last start, he was just 1m adrift of the winner. From the gate he can burrow through to stake his claim.

CHASIN DREAMZ (7) returned from a freshen two starts back and has faced wide gates in both runs back. Retreating from gate 6 last start, she was luckless first up when searching for a way clear when 5m in arrears of the winner. From this alley, she can secure the ideal trip to be ready to challenge.

SONNY ORLANDO (5) found the right conditions here two starts back when finding the 1x1 trail and owning the best closing speed to charge over the top. Buried away last start, he can be chiming in.

FEELGOOD EXPRESS (4) settle rearward from the second line here last time out and was making good metres in the closing stages to grab the silver. She can do it the tough way to feature in this.

SELECTIONS: WAVEDANCER (1), CHASIN DREAMZ (7), SONNY ORLANDO (5), FEELGOOD EXPRESS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WAVEDANCER (1) to win

RACE SIX

BE ON THE SLY (7)
will strip fitter from his last appearance where he was returning from a break. Sent forward from gate 4 to sit parked, he was doing it the tough way when grinding out a 3rd placing behind the flying SHEZALUCKYLADY. With the cosy trip, he can be in position to strike in the stretch.

BRAEVIEW FELLA (1) tackled the AP 2138m last start and after burrowing through to lead from gate 1, released the speed but then could not go on with it. Working hard two starts back, a return to the sprint trip from this alley can see him hold the early advantage and be ready to challenge.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (8) has been racing in consistent touch, hitting the board in 5 of her past 7 which includes a pair of victories. Just 2m away last start, she can be joining in again here.

HANDSOME HARRY (2) eased from gate 6 to sit at the rear over this trip two starts back and charting a wide course, powered home in the closing stages to score. An improved gate is a big asset.

SELECTIONS: BE ON THE SLY (7), BRAEVIEW FELLA (1), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (8), HANDSOME HARRY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE SEVEN

BOKHARI (2)
struck trouble on debut and finished midfield when 10m in arrears of the winner. Placed in all fours starts since that outing, she looks to have found the conditions for the breakthrough. Sent out fav last start from gate 6 when 2nd, this looks her account opener.

GAME KEEPER (4) started from inside the second line last time out and was making some closing metres when grabbing the bronze, albeit a long way from the winner. Eased to the running line from gate 5 two starts back, he is chasing the win at start 54 here and can look to make a play.

MY GIRL BLAZE (1) was not suited here last week when obliged to race tough outside the leader where she faded over the closing stages. With the cosy trip behind the speed, she can feature here.

MOON OVER MONTANA (7) has finished 5th at his past three starts in succession, the latest when fading after settling in the pocket trail. With even luck, he is a podium hope here.

SELECTIONS: BOKHARI (2), GAME KEEPER (4), MY GIRL BLAZE (1), MOON OVER MONTANA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BOKHARI (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

FEEL THE THRILL (9)
faces the outside second line gate, but he looks to have found himself in a very winnable contest. Buried away from inside the second line here two starts back, he found the space to work off and arrive for a narrow win. It did not go to plan last start, but he can bounce back.

FURIOSA (5) was building toward the maiden breaking win and franked that assessment when scoring here back in late July. Placed in two runs since that win, her past 5 have been from the second line, with a return to the front a big help in this line up.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (7) should take some benefit from her run here last start where she was returning from a let up. Working hard in the early stages, she will secure a cosy trip from this alley.

LUCINDA JAMAR (1) was just 4m from the winner BERTILS FIREFOX after leading early here last week. With early hustle off the arm, from this alley she can be in the right position to feature.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE THRILL (9), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (7), LUCINDA JAMAR (1), FURIOSA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE THRILL (9) to win
