RACE ONE

COURAGEOUS SAM (3) worked into the pocket trail last start after easing across from gate 4. Looking to have plenty to offer, he was keen in the run before throwing his chances out with a costly error as they were ready to swing for home. He can get forward to stake his claim for this.

SWEET JASMINE (1) will enjoy a return to the front line after her past three have all been from the second line. Making some nice metres in the closing stages last start to be 5m from the winner, she has a tidy record over the middle trip and lands the gate to challenge.

CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (7) was a winner here three starts back from this gate, making the closing shot a winning one when darting through to score. Beaten a similar margin her past two, she can chime in.

ITS SUPER EASY (6) was taken off the gate last start from gate 5 and then had the task made tougher with a flat tyre. Down the line off the second line the start prior, he can defy the gate to join in.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS SAM (3), SWEET JASMINE (1), CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (7), ITS SUPER EASY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS SAM (3) to win

RACE TWO

TEACHERS PET (1) burrowed through from gate 1 over the 2040m last start and was trying to take them all the way but was unable to see it out. A return to the sprint trip is in her favour here, a trip she was successful at three starts back when taking them all the way.

BE ON THE SLY (8) has now had three runs back from a spell, the latest when powering home over the top to score a driver of the night performance from Andrew Millard. A tough 5th when under 5m from the winner two starts back, this looks well within his reach to go back-to-back.

MOTU AMETHYST (4) capitalised here three starts back when finding the right conditions to secure the perfect trip and then take the prize. The gate makes it tricky, but she can be in the fight.

OUR BOY ROY (7) was sent forward to sit parked last start and was fighting hard in clinging on for the silver when 5m in arrears of the winner. Taking them all the way three starts back, he looks set to enjoy the trip to feature.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (1), BE ON THE SLY (8), MOTU AMETHYST (4), OUR BOY ROY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8

RACE THREE

HE SAID SHE SAID (1)
backs up from Saturday night where the run was full of merit. Darting through from gate 1 at headquarters two starts back, he was looking to take them all the way, but could only manage a 4m margin behind ISOLATION. Yet to strike a win here on The Triangle, he looks to get every chance this time.

ZARAS A TREASURE (7) has two wins in her past three starts after developing a handy record here on this deck. Firing out from gate 3 to take control last start, she was able to keep them chasing when holding on to score by a neck margin. Her past two wins have been from in front, with the cosy trip in behind the speed giving her a challenging chance.

OYSTER STRIDE (4) was staring down a hat-trick of victories last start when eased from gate 4. Making a wide and sweeping run, he was charging home but had to settle for the silver. Descending on them two starts back, it followed an all the way win and he can feature once again.

ALTANA BLUE (8) had placed in three of his previous five starts before his latest appearance at headquarters. Strong to the line behind subsequent winner HARRY KANE last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: HE SAID SHE SAID (1), ZARAS A TREASURE (7), OYSTER STRIDE (4), ALTANA BLUE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HE SAID SHE SAID (1) to win

RACE FOUR

CLARES FOOL (5)
is given no favours from the wide gate, but he has been in super form. Beaten as the odds-on fav last start when sitting parked and holding on for the bronze, it followed four successive victories. He can look for the bounce back factor to chalk up another victory.

JAMAICAN RESORT (1) resumed from a spell three starts back when finishing down the line behind CLARES FOOL. Grabbed in the closing strides second up by BERTILS FIREFOX, he capitalised last start to take them all the way from gate 3 and has the chance to throw it down again.

BERTILS FIREFOX (3) started from the second line last start and was making some nice metres in the closing stages to finish 5m from the winner JAMAICAN RESORT. Back to the front line is a big help.

WAVEDANCER (2) had been building towards a win that was realised last start when finding the pocket trail and then making the closing shot a winner. Runner-up his previous three, he looms large once again here.

SELECTIONS: CLARES FOOL (5), JAMAICAN RESORT (1), BERTILS FIREFOX (3), WAVEDANCER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-5

RACE FIVE

TORI BE (2)
was sent forward from gate 3 here last week to find the front and controlling the tempo out in front, led every step bar the one that counted, going under by a pimple. Fitter for that outing where she was first up since July, she can take control again and look to see it out.

AKERMANIS (7) will be needing a slice of luck from this alley to find the space to make a challenge. Eased off the inside into the running line last start, he chased hard to be 4m in arrears of the winner. Taking benefit from the run, he can issue a challenge.

DESTINY BLUES (1) should appreciate the improved gate after facing gate 6 last start. Eased off the arm to find the pegs and hope for short cuts, the run had merit when 5m from the winner.

TUFFY (6) was second up in Qld for the Darren McCall stable last start when easing from this same alley to find the running line. Making some nice metres to grab the bronze, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: TORI BE (2), AKERMANIS (7), DESTINY BLUES (1), TUFFY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TORI BE (2) to win

RACE SIX

MANOFLISA (2)
settled in the 1x1 trail last time out and was able to grab 3rd behind THREE MACHS. Not suited by conditions on the grass at Kilcoy the start prior, he was a winner here six starts back when working home wide off the track. With the lead looking available, he looks to get every chance.

BOLD COWBOY (5) made the most of the set up at Kilcoy last start when firing out from gate 5 to find the front and once in control was able to pull clear for a big victory. Runner-up the start prior when 2m in arrears of the winner CLARES FOOL, he can press ahead to throw down a challenge.

THREE MACHS (7) started from the second line last start, settling in the running line in the run. Hitting the line smartly to score victory, she can be tucked away, ready to chime in.

AROONA (6) has no favours from the outside paint, given the ODM embargo following an error last time out. Positioning cheaply will be key to his closing chances.

SELECTIONS: MANOFLISA (2), BOLD COWBOY (5), THREE MACHS (7), AROONA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  MANOFLISA (2) to win
