The Cunnamulla and District Diggers' Race Club non-TAB Cup meeting on Saturday, October 8, has been postponed to be conducted by the Roma Turf Club on Sunday, October 9.
Approximately 30mm of rainfall has been recorded since yesterday at Cunnamulla making the track unsuitable to race. Further rain is forecast for the remainder of the week.
The rescheduling has necessitated three distance changes:
- Open Hcp - 1640m, was 1400m;
- Benchmark 45 Hcp - 1640m, was 1400m; and
- Class B Hcp - 900m, was 800m.
Nominations for all races at the Roma Turf Club meeting have now been extended to 12 noon today.
Nominations already lodged for the Cunnamulla and District Diggers' Race Club meeting will carry over for the rescheduled Roma meeting.
Trainers not wishing to start at Roma must contact Racing Australia to cancel their nomination prior to 12 noon today.
Due to the postponement, there will be no fees charged for the Roma race meeting.
RQ will liaise with the Cunnamulla and District Diggers' Race Club in regards to rescheduling their annual Cup race to a future race meeting.
