RACE ONE

With just one win from a dozen attempts here at The Creek, dropping back to the claiming ranks can be the catalyst for JACK WILLIAM (3) to make it a pair. His only win here was in this grade when able to lead throughout and after two runs back from a spell in tougher company, can capitalise here.

HANDSOME HERO (1) eased from gate 4 last start to position on the poles and then never saw the gaps when needed to make a play. Not far from them in both starts prior, including when chasing behind SWAGGIE SHANNON, he has the options from this alley to issue the challenge.

EH EF EL (6) will need to overcome the widest gate but a return to claiming company is in his favour. Not suited at Redcliffe last start, he can sit off the tempo with the small field a bonus as he makes his charge.

SELECTIONS: JACK WILLIAM (3), HANDSOME HERO (1), EH EF EL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JACK WILLIAM (3) to win

RACE TWO

Relying on some factors to fall in his favour, with the cosy trip PRESS STATEMENT (8) can be ready to take the snipers shot here. Sweating on hitting the passing lane with momentum behind, he comes into this after facing wide gates at his past two. A Redcliffe winner five back, this is within reach.

BRAEVIEW FELLA (1) takes just his second look at headquarters after his only appearance here three starts back was when fading in the latter stages over the 2138m trip. Bouncing back with the narrowest of 2nds at his next outing at Redcliffe, he has the lead or trail options on offer here.

NONE GRATER (3) is slowly starting to show improvement, with his latest offering a handy return when hitting the line strongly from back in the pack after retreating from gate 6. He is in the mix.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (6) does not possess the greatest record on this deck with a solitary win here on the big oval. Asked to race tough first over at Marburg last start, she is a podium hope with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: PRESS STATEMENT (8), BRAEVIEW FELLA (1), NONE GRATER (3), MAFFIOSO GIRL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-3-6-8

RACE THREE

JET FORCE (2)
slid across to lob the 1x1 trail here last start and with the right tempo in front, when angled into space to make his play, went straight past them to claim a 7m margin. Hitting the line smartly two starts back when grabbing the bronze, he can tuck in here and descend on the again.

IM LOKI (3) started from the second line last time out and settled rearward was trying to make some metres in the closing stages when 6m in arrears of the winner. Better out in front, he can look to press the issue here and if able to pinch a panel or two, can throw it down to them.

SCHOOBY (1) has placed in 5 of his past 11 which followed a 7-win streak and gets all the favours from this gate. Charging home to be run the winner to a half-neck two starts back, he has claims.

BLUE SHARD (8) resumes from a spell as he looks for his first cheque this season after eight attempts. With a trial to open the pipes in readiness, the economical trip fresh up is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: JET FORCE (2), IM LOKI (3), SCHOOBY (1), BLUE SHARD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JET FORCE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

Taken back off the gate last start from gate 5, SIGNOR JUJON (1) was wide off the track making a closing raid when finishing 2m from ALL THE FOURS. Gunned down in front the start prior when looking to take them all the way, he can take control here and will be fighting deep into the stretch.

ARCHILLES (8) has been a model of consistency in recent outings, hitting the board in six successive attempts that includes a win here four runs back when taking them all the way. With the chance of securing the perfect trip in behind the speed, he can be ready to take the snipers shot.

BUKTHSYSTEM (9) eased from gate 4 last start to secure position in the running line before hitting the line in nice order to be 6m from the winner. Never too far away, he can chime into the minors.

ALL THE FOURS (3) was third up from a spell last start when taken back in the early stages to find a spot. With the right tempo, he sailed home over the top to take the prize and will be closing hard.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (1), ARCHILLES (8), BUKTHSYSTEM (9), ALL THE FOURS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (1) to win

RACE FIVE

Missing the money just once in 9 attempts here at The Creek, CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (4) earns the return to the main draw after being stung by an ODM embargo at his past two. Pressing on to take control last start from gate 7, he scored from that same alley five back. The improved gate is a huge bonus.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (1) made the most of this gate four runs back when hustling off the arm to take control and then running along out in front. With the speed on throughout, he was able to claim a career PB. Drawn off the second line in all three runs since, he has the gate to make his challenge.

CHAL BE (10) enjoyed the drop back in grade here two starts back when sent forward from gate 6 and from the front was never in danger. Against the tempo last start, he can be joining in here.

SHARP SHOOTER (8) fired off the arm to lead from gate 2 last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip but was swamped in the closing stages in a blanket finish. With a cosy trip, he can be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (4), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (1), CHAL BE (10), SHARP SHOOTER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (4) to win

RACE SIX

Receiving no favours from the outside paint, HARRY KANE (7) might just get the right tempo to make the closing raid a winning one. Up to the 2138m for the first time in Aus last start, he took the trail and then held on for the silver behind ITS BACK PAGE NEWS. Effective off speed, he can strike.

LUXURY LAD (5) has worked his way into some nice form and with three minor placings sandwiched between a pair of wins in his past five starts. Taking control at Marburg last start, he zipped home in a sizzling 55.9 last 800m on the tight track and can throw down the challenge here.

TINGE OF FEAR (1) was sent around them from the second line last time out in the early stages to sit parked and was able to graft out the victory. Likely to secure an economical trip, she can chime in.

GOLDEN LACE (2) has speed off the gate and will be taking an early shot here. Pressing forward last start before finding cover, she chased hard for the silver behind THE MAHARANI three runs back.

SELECTIONS: HARRY KANE (7), LUXURY LAD (5), TINGE OF FEAR (1), GOLDEN LACE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  HARRY KANE (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

The tempo looks electric in the early stages of this battle with plenty of speed off the front. A winner at 3 of 6 since arriving, THE HIGH COMMANDER (2) opted for cover last start when stepping up in grade and made a costly error when angling into open air. Charging when it was all over two back, this looks right.

HESTON ZOOLANDER (4) was large in defeat two starts back when making his Qld debut, sitting parked and running the winner to a head margin over the mile. Tackling the 2138m last start, worked his way to the front and then fought them off for a narrow victory and can issue the challenge here.

ALTA SENSATION (3) eased into the pocket trail last start and with the easy trip was trying to reel in TARGARYEN but came up 7m short. Doing a mountain of work two starts back, limiting the burn can see him make a play.

MI FURIOSO TORO (1) holds the keys to the contest and with his early speed will be darting through off the arm. Setting a slick tempo in front at Redcliffe two back before being collared, he can be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: THE HIGH COMMANDER (2), HESTON ZOOLANDER (4), ALTA SENSATION (3), MI FURIOSO TORO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HIGH COMMANDER (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

In a very tricky battle to close the card, if the right run prevails for HEZ ON THE BUZZER (8), he can be the one to capitalise along the passing lane. A winner here from deep in the pack five starts back when working home over the top, he has not been too far off them in each run since.

BRIDGE COIN (1) has the speed to lead this, what happens once he burrows through is the big query. His last win was at the mile when releasing, while two starts back from this gate, he was buried in the run and then finished midfield. With the options, he looms large in either scenario.

EVERYTHING HAPPENS (9) has finished in 3rd in 4 of his 8 starts here, the latest when sitting parked and fighting on in a strong mile. He can get a cart into the contest here to chime into the minors.

MISTER DIAMOND (12) was sent around the field from the second line in the early stages at Redcliffe last start and after a torrid trip faded out. He will be wide at some stage here to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS: HEZ ON THE BUZZER (8), BRIDGE COIN (1), EVERYTHING HAPPENS (9), MISTER DIAMOND (12)
SUGGESTED BET:
