6RACE ONE

Stripping fitter following one run back from a spell where he was able to grab the silver behind the speed machine UNCLE SHANK, INFATUATION (5) can look to graduate to FFA company with a win here. Chasing gamely when resuming, he was solid through the Winter and can capitalise here.

TIZ A SIZZLER (9) was chasing down the hat-trick last start over the mile and sent out as favourite from outside the second line, worked hard to get around and outside the leader. Out of gas turning for home to finish rearward, he was going well enough prior, to redeem himself in this.

OBI ONE (1) secured the perfect trip from inside the second line here two starts back and when aiming up for the passing lane, had superior close out speed. Only 3m away last start, he can snipe.

KASH US BACK (3) started from inside the second line last start and was soon shuffled back along the markers and from there was out of play behind SLIP THE HUNDY. Settling closer can help.

SELECTIONS: INFATUATION (5), TIZ A SIZZLER (9), OBI ONE (1), KASH US BACK (3)
SUGGESTED BET: INFATUATION (5) to win

RACE TWO

A tricky 70Final to dissect here with a front-line flush with speed and tempo suggesting this may be a war of attrition. Cashing in for the first win since returning from a long layoff, HIPSTAR (10) proved too strong when grinding out the win last time in a career PB. Saved for one crack, he is up to it.

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (5) is 2 from 2 this campaign, winning over the 2138m when resuming after pressing on to the front and then claiming the Heat of this Series when taking the closing shot up the passing lane. With a smart trial since that victory, a cheap position can see her challenge.

JUST JOSHIN (1) lands the perfect gate but his record here at HQ is always the worry. A winner of 1 of 73 here, he loves The Triangle where he won two starts back and was just a head away last start.

LETTERKENNY BOY (6) is another with a questionable record on this deck, where he has 2 wins in 40 attempts. Only 5m away two starts back when luckless, he is an off-pace runner that can benefit.

SELECTIONS: HIPSTAR (10), ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (5), JUST JOSHIN (1), LETTERKENNY BOY (6),
SUGGESTED BET: HIPSTAR (10) to win

RACE THREE

After a string of wide or second line gates, moving into the tight alley here should be an advantage in the favour of BOMBADIER JUJON (2). Wide off the track last start when 4th as SWAYZEE scored up the passing lane, he rattled home two back after retreating from gate 5. He gets his chance.

SAGINAW (1) has effectively been on the ODM embargo for nearly every one of his 19 starts in the Sunshine State. Back in the main draw, if he can handle the inside alley, he should relish the opportunity that the economic options provide. Sectionally superb of late, he can throw it down.

ROCK BOTTOM (4) has hit the board at his past three starts, the latest when grabbing the bronze behind SWAYZEE. Just a half-head in arrears of DANCE IN THE SUN three back, he is in the mix.

GLENLEDI BOY (5) was trying to make ground last week and his 55.12 for the last half was the quickest out of the race despite being the widest runner turning for home. A cheap spot will help.

SELECTIONS: BOMBADIER JUJON (2), SAGINAW (1), ROCK BOTTOM (4), GLENLEDI BOY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BOMBADIER JUJON (2) to win

RACE FOUR

Finding the line in smart order last start as the race developed into a stretch drive scorcher TURN IT UP (4) had to split the win with CRUZ BROMAC. A passing lane 3rd to that same horse the start prior, he has no troubles in finding the pegs here, it is the next decision that is a query. Either trailing or looking to see it out, he looks the one to beat.

BIG WHEELS (6) has run the quinella in 11 of his 13 for the season and is chasing down a hat-trick of victories here. Ripping home a sizzling sub 27 last panel over the 2138m last start, he charged home two back for a new benchmark 52.1 mile. The gate hurts but he is taking each step as it is presented.

TOMMY LINCOLN (3) can fire some early bullets and look to be the first to the markers. Making some closing ground last start, he was just 1m away two starts back and has podium claims.

CRUZ BROMAC (8) is staring down a quasi-hat-trick of victories after his last start dead-heat but is given no favours from the inside second line where he looks set to be buried or will need to work off the inside.

SELECTIONS: TURN IT UP (4), BIG WHEELS (6), TOMMY LINCOLN (3), CRUZ BROMAC (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN IT UP (4) to win

RACE FIVE

Out of the money at his past two in succession, they are the only times that BETTORS HOPE (3) has missed the board since arriving. Only 3m away last start after handing over in the early stages, he was trying to make a closing raid two back as MAGICAL MAYA proved too tough. He can bounce back.

FRANCO MACHO (5) will take benefit from his latest outing when second up from a spell. Settled in the running line, he was trying to wind up in the closing stages when 5m astern of the winner HIPSTAR. Attacking the line first up when a half-head from MAGICAL MAYA, he can issue the challenge.

THE SPORTZ STAR (10) burrowed through from gate 1 last start at Redcliffe and led them deep into the stretch, ultimately finishing 4m in arrears of the winner. The gate stings but he is place chance.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (7) cops no favours from the outside paint, but his recent efforts are enough to suggest he is minor player in this. Strong to the line last start when 5m away, look for him late.

SELECTIONS: BETTORS HOPE (3), FRANCO MACHO (5), THE SPORTZ STAR (10), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Taking on a stronger contest last start, LYRICAL GENIUS (4) was unable to go with them over the closing stages as SLIP THE HUNDY dominated out in front. A handy midweek winner at his first AP appearance two starts back, he looks better placed in this company and can get back on the board.

RYANS GANGSTER (1) is knocking on the door and just needs to have the conditions in his favour to secure the breakthrough. Rattling home last start from back in the pack as HIPSTAR saw it out, he was beaten by gate 6 the start prior. Stalking the speed, he can issue the challenge.

DOCTA FEELGOOD (2) has placed in 3 of his past 4 in this company, the latest when taking short cuts up the passing lane to grab the bronze. Just a half-head away two back, he can be chiming in.

CANT BLUFF YOU (3) was lining up for the hat-trick last start when tackling a qualifier and from the pocket trail had to settle for the silver behind AIR TIME. With the right trip he can podium again.

SELECTIONS: LYRICAL GENIUS (4), RYANS GANGSTER (1), DOCTA FEELGOOD (2), CANT BLUFF YOU (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  LYRICAL GENIUS (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

Sent out in red figures last start off the back of a handy effort the week prior, SPEAK WITH SAM (2) was unable to see it out from the front end after taking control from gate 2 over the middle trip. A return to the mile is a big help and settling near the action can see him capitalise.

BLACKJACK BART (8) had this same alley last start and hemmed away stuck to the inside and was making nice metres over the closing stages to grab the bronze behind CAMROLLER. #rd to GELDOF in a similar event three starts back, he will be probing for gaps to make a closing challenge.

HEADWIN (5) was not suited by the 2138m last start when midfield but never in the mix. Making some nice ground the start prior behind YEP GOT CHOOKS, he can be chiming in here.

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (4) will appreciate a return to the sprint trip after not being suited at the middle trip last time. Locked away two starts back, he has the speed to get across and stake a claim.

SELECTIONS: SPEAK WITH SAM (2), BLACKJACK BART (8), HEADWIN (5), MAYWYN TROUBADOR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEAK WITH SAM (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

Darting off the gate to take control here last week, CLOWNS TOTHELEFT (4) was unable to see it out when nabbed in the latter stages by ONLY ONCE BITTEN. Fading here two starts back after getting across to the trail, she can take control and look to see it out.

WATCHFUL LADY (2) is winless in Qld and has hit the board once in 9 attempts here at The Creek. Eased from gate 5 last start and then hemmed away, she was making some nice metres in the closing stages behind DEBUTANTE PARTY. Closer to the action, she can make a play for the prize.

GABBYS IDEAL (1) comes up with the gate to secure the options after finishing midfield last week from three back against the poles. This is not an overly strong mare’s race, and she is in the mix.

SCENE OF TERROR (8) was first up in Qld last week from gate 6 where she eased early to find position and then did not really get warm. Tucked in behind the action, she can fill a minor in this.

SELECTIONS: CLOWNS TOTHELEFT (4), WATCHFUL LADY (2), GABBYS IDEAL (1), SCENE OF TERROR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CLOWNS TOTHELEFT (4) to win

RACE NINE

With 4 wins and 3 minors in her past 10 starts, MOLLIESMARYELLE (2) is racing in top order. Pressing to the front from this gate two starts back and then seeing it out over the 2138m trip, she was a victim of circumstance from a tough gate last start. Pressing the issue, she can bounce back.

DEBUTANTE PARTY (1) was sent to the front last start from gate 7 and led throughout in a mare’s qualifier as a short-price elect. Despite doing some work to get there and fighting them off, it was not a convincing win. The improved gate gives her the chance to frank the form.

UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (6) was in front and trying to repel them in the stretch last start when DELIGHTFUL REASON worked off her back and landed the winning blow. Taking them all the way in a big mile two back, the gate stings.

LADY AVANA (5) has been freshened since her last victory when claiming a qualifier against the boys, leading throughout. The gate makes it tricky, but she can be making a play.

SELECTIONS: MOLLIESMARYELLE (2), DEBUTANTE PARTY (1), UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (6), LADY AVANA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MOLLIESMARYELLE (2) to win

RACE TEN

With 3 wins in her past 5 starts that includes the G1 3YO Fillies Triad MAGICAL MAYA (1) has really stepped up in the latter part of the season. Claiming a PB victory with a big first over crush at the 2138m last start, she worked early before being tucked up over the latter stages in a recent trial when kept on a helmet. The gate is a huge asset.

ALTA REVELRY (3) will take added benefit from his latest offering where he was second up from a spell. Resuming at Redcliffe with a tough trip, he was back in winning form last start after finding the front before releasing and then landing the closing shot. He will be throwing it down.

AWAYWEGO (2) has been a hard read in recent starts, with his numbers falling away. A game 3rd when parked three back, he could not get into it last start from back in the pack. His best would see him feature.

IMA SOCIALITE (6) has no favours from the wide gate but should appreciate the smaller field from out there and a return to her own age. Too slippery up the passing lane last start, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAGICAL MAYA (1), ALTA REVELRY (3), AWAYWEGO (2), IMA SOCIALITE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MAGICAL MAYA (1) to win
