RACE ONE

ALLAMBIE (1) was first up for the new stable last start where she was sent to the post a red figure favourite at her first run in seven weeks. Settling in the 1x1 trail from gate 2, she had superior closing speed to take a 4m margin. Fitter and with all the available options, she can go back-to-back.

PRECIOUS CULLEN (3) took full advantage of conditions last start when powering off the arm to find the front and once in control was able to take them all the way. Beaten a pimple three runs back when making a play from the 1x1 trail, he can look for the front to throw down the challenge.

COURAGEOUS SAM (9) is chasing the hat-trick after wins at the 2040 and then the 1780. Drawn off the front line in each of those wins, he overcame gate 6 last start and the threepeat is within reach.

FAIREACHDAINN (2) continues her consistency, hitting the board in 12 of her past 18 which includes 8 victories. Grabbing the bronze after retreating from gate 6 last start, she can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: ALLAMBIE (1), PRECIOUS CULLEN (3), COURAGEOUS SAM (9), FAIREACHDAINN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLAMBIE (1) to win

RACE TWO

VODKA EN ICE (2) has now had three runs since returning from a spell and looks to have found the right conditions to capitalise upon here. Runner-up when resuming after looking to take them all the way, his past two have been in slightly tougher contests and from this gate he gets the options.

BETTOR ROCKNROLL (3) will take some benefit from his latest appearance where he was resuming from a spell. Taken back from gate 6 on that occasion, he was making a nice closing rally when 6m in arrears of the winner. Claiming victory four starts back at the 2040m trip, he can challenge here.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (6) has the wide gate to negotiate but with the right trip has a chance to be running into some minor money. Grabbing 3rd from this gate two starts back keeps him in the mix.

MISS MIA (5) found the 1x1 trail at Marburg last start when finishing 6m from the winner GABBYS SPORTSTAR. Grabbing a passing lane 3rd two starts back, she has podium claims in this line up.

SELECTIONS: VODKA EN ICE (2), BETTOR ROCKNROLL (3), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (6), MISS MIA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: VODKA EN ICE (2) to win

RACE THREE

BELLA GODIVA (2)
has been racing in consistent fashion in recent starts, placing in all three runs since scoring here four back and hitting the board in 8 of her past 10. Eased from a wide gate before making a charge up the stretch last time when 3m in arrears, she can claim a wide-open contest.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (8) is on the short back-up after finding ideal conditions on Monday night where he was able to take them all the way. A winner in three of his past five starts, he was strong to the line over the AP mile two back and can issue the challenge again here.

ABBEY DIADEMA (4) is never too far away and comes into this with a minor recorded in three of her past four. Making good metres last start behind GO JO JOLT, she can be making a late play again.

SHAKATIE (1) has been out of the money from her past two from this same alley, the latest when not everything was in her favour. With the right trip behind the speed, she can fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: BELLA GODIVA (2), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (8), ABBEY DIADEMA (4), SHAKATIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BELLA GODIVA (2) to win

RACE FOUR

BE MY ROCK (5)
ended his Qld hoodoo when scoring here four runs back at his first run back from a spell. Forced to work hard in that win, he has been runner-up twice since that win, the latest here last start from this same gate when 4m from ITS BACK PAGE NEWS. Pressure and tempo can see him arrive.

GELDOF (4) caught the eye of the sectional watchers at Marburg two starts back when hitting the line strongly despite finishing out of the money. That run was franked with a strong victory at headquarters on Saturday when doing it powerfully out in front. He will be throwing it down.

RAANI (2) should relish the opportunity to start closer to the poles and can fire some early bullets off the arm. Wide gates have stung in recent outings, she can make the most of the alley.

DOLLARBILL (3) pressed on from this alley to take control two starts back and once in front kept them rolling to land the prize. Collared in the last strides last week, he will be making a big play.

SELECTIONS: BE MY ROCK (5), GELDOF (4), RAANI (2), DOLLARBILL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BE MY ROCK (5) to win

RACE FIVE

SONNY ORLANDO (2)
was a winner from this alley three starts back when settling in the 1x1 trail and then swooping over the top to take the prize. Buried in the run at his next appearance, he was asked to hang tough last start when parked. Kept fresh since that last start, he gets a chance from the gate.

SIGNOR JUJON (8) landed the ace last time out over the AP mile and after holding up early, released for the trail but could not go on with it when fading in the stretch. Runner-up the start prior when charging home in the closing stages, if he can lob in a handy spot, he can make a challenge.

MOTU AMETHYST (9) looked to have found every opportunity for victory here last week and after a steady time in front, could not finish them off in splitting the prize. The gate makes it a tough ask.

CIRCLE LINE (1) was wide off the track from outside the second line at Marburg last start and not beaten too far. Holding 3rd over the AP mile two starts back, he can burrow through here to feature.

SELECTIONS: SONNY ORLANDO (2), SIGNOR JUJON (8), MOTU AMETHYST (9), CIRCLE LINE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SONNY ORLANDO (2) to win

RACE SIX

IMA CHICK MAGNET (4)
is looking to overcome a win drought that extends 15 months as he chases just the second win of his career. His numbers are nothing flash, but he finds a race here where he might just get to the front cheaply and with the lack of pressure, capitalise for the in-form Dwyer/Barnes combo.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (1) released the front from this gate last start over this trip and from the trail missed the minors when 16m from the subsequent winner LONDON LADY. With all the options from this gate, she will be throwing down the challenge looking for career win 14.

DARBY BRIGHTS (5) started from inside the second line last start and from the pocket trail was able to finish 3m from the winner VERMONT in holding 3rd. Despite a tricky alley, she can feature.

NEVAEVABEND (7) has landed gate 8 at her past two starts where she has been trying to make ground wider on the track on each occasion. Back to a cosy peg trip here can see her chime in.

SELECTIONS: IMA CHICK MAGNET (4), TORQUE TO THE MAX (1), DARBY BRIGHTS (5), NEVAEVABEND (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  IMA CHICK MAGNET (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

MASTER CHARLES (4)
should appreciate his level of opposition second up from a freshen, after meeting some tough opponents in recent starts. Grabbing 3rd after releasing the front over the AP 2138m three back behind BETTING ORIGIN, he chased in vain behind the smart CHEETAH LODGE last week from the second line.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1) faced gate 6 last start and was obliged to hang tough when sent forward to sit parked and was game in holding 2nd behind GO JO JOLT. Finding the front here two back, he was able to see it out and while he may not have the speed to lead, a cosy trip will be on offer.

HIT THE TRACK (3) made the most of dropping back to Redcliffe last start and was able to overcome the outside gate when powering home over the top to score. Settling handy can see him feature.

MY SECRET BEACH (6) has no favours from the outside paint but was the runner-up from this alley three back when under 2m from the winner. Hitting the board in 7 of his past 11, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MASTER CHARLES (4), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1), HIT THE TRACK (3), MY SECRET BEACH (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MASTER CHARLES (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

WAVEDANCER (9)
has been in some consistent form of late and lines up here after finishing in the money at 7 of his past 10 which includes 2 wins at his past 4. Finding the front then releasing and landing the closing shot, it faces a tricky map here but can descend on them in an open contest.

WHATA REACTOR (3) was a winner here two starts back when buried in the run from inside the second line, finding the gaps to charge home for victory and lighting up the tote board with the win. Holding 3rd to DOWNTOWN LUCCA last start, she can flash early speed to issue the challenge.

BERTILS FIREFOX (4) is at his best when able to find the front and get away with a steady time. Second line draws have scuttled those hopes in recent outings, but he can feature in this line up.

JAMAICAN RESORT (7) has returned from a spell in some nice form with a pair of wins and a pair of placing in six starts. Just 2m from the winner last time, he will be probing for an opening here.

SELECTIONS: WAVEDANCER (9), WHATA REACTOR (3), BERTILS FIREFOX (4), JAMAICAN RESORT (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

AUGUSTA HANOVER (3)
was supported to run the odds-on elect at her debut from inside the second line. As green as the jacket presented to the winner at Augusta, she did everything wrong but still grabbed 2nd. Banished to the trials, she earns the return off a smart hit out and only her own manners look to be her undoing in this.

CHARLIE MY BOY (9) has shown some improvement to place at his past two attempts, the latest after easing from gate 5 before picking off some late metres for 3rd behind the impressive debutant SWOOPING EAGLE. Runner-up to REEDS VISION two back, he can be chiming in.

GHOST TRAIN (5) will take some benefit from his last start where he was resuming from a spell. Settled in the 1x1 in finishing midfield to ROYAL WINKLE, the gate derails his hopes here.

HURRIKANE MEL (8) was sent to the front last start from gate 1 and was able to hold on for the bronze when 4m from the winner ROYAL WINKLE. That was her first cheque, and she can hunt another.

SELECTIONS: AUGUSTA HANOVER (3), CHARLIE MY BOY (9), GHOST TRAIN (5), HURRIKANE MEL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: AUGUSTA HANOVER (3) to win
