RACE ONE

MARIANNA BROMAC (8) was able to overcome gate 5 here three starts back when sent forward early to settle closer to the action and then weave a passage to the wire to take the prize. Strong to the line last start from deep in the pack when 4m astern of IDEAL TIGER, she is up to this.

SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM (1) broke through here last week over this trip, settling in the running line from gate 2 and then owning superior closing speed to take the prize. With all the options from the ace gate, she can be in the perfect position to throw down the challenge.

ALLAMBIE (6) is afforded no favours from the outside paint. A winner first up for the new stable two back, she was a beaten odds-on pop from gate 1 last start when holding 2nd. She can be chiming in.

LIFEINHEAVEN (7) looks set to enjoy the economical trip and after three runs back from a spell should be close to showing full fitness. A flat tyre hampered her last start, and she will be probing.

RACE TWO

OUR BOY ROY (2) was sent forward from gate 5 and asked to graft it out first over last time out and was in for the fight when under 2m from the winner. Fading late when working from the same wide gate two runs back, the improved gate is a huge help in this line up.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (5) has worked his way into some form and lines up here with a pair of wins in his past three attempts. Settled rearward from gate 9 last week, he had the momentum down the stretch to grab victory by an eyelash. He has early speed to find a challenging spot from this gate.

MOTU AMETHYST (7) split the win here two back when trying to lead all the way from gate 1. Attacking the line with vigour last start when just a neck away, she will be probing for space.

GALVARINO (9) returns from a spell and has no favours from the tough gate first up. With the right cart into the contest, he has podium claims fresh.

RACE THREE

IL MAXIMUS (1)
is still chasing his first win of the season, hampered in his past two appearances when starting from the second line. Runner-up to LANOCH BOY here three back from this same gate, he can burrow through to get the right trip and can take the snipers shot in the stretch.

COURAGEOUS SAM (2) was chasing the hat-trick last start when slammed with the outside second line gate. Making a closing rally to be under 5m from the winner, his win here three back was when taking them all the way. He can fire out and will be trying to repel the challengers.

IDEAL TIGER (5) is hitting some nice areas and has a pair of wins from his past four outings. Grinding it out for a smart win here last week, he can feature again from the same alley.

ROSES ARE SWEEET (7) has been on the AP circuit in recent attempts, chasing a mare’s qualifier. 3m away in holding 3rd three runs back, she should appreciate this grade and will be searching for space.

RACE FOUR

GELDOF (8)
has found his way back into tune and lines up here chasing a hat-trick of victories. Running a sharp last 800m in defeat three back, he franked that effort with a smart dictating win at headquarters before arriving in the last stride here last week. The threepeat is within reach.

THE GENERAL (2) was first up for the Sallis stable last week where he was also returning from a spell. Taken back in the early stages from gate 5, he was strong to the line against the tempo to grab 2nd behind a dictating KATACHA MAN. With early speed, he can secure a challenging position.

KARLOO BRADLEY (3) arrives in Qld with Wayne Graham a seven-time winner. Last seen at Bathurst in early September when grabbing 3rd to the inform JILLIBY DINGO, he stays under a watch first up.

BE MY ROCK (7) slid across from gate 5 to find the 1x1 trail here last start and then taking the closing shot was nailed on the wire by GELDOF. Runner-up two back, he will be searching for an opening.

RACE FIVE

THREE MACHS (7)
has been hitting some nice areas of recent times, with a pair of wins and pair of minors in her past five outings. Charging home to arrive for the prize last start, she chased along the passing lane two back behind the in-form LONDON LADY. She can stalk the speed and strike.

MATAI REACTOR (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and when angled into open space was strong to the line to arrive for a drought breaking victory. He lads all the options again here to throw down the challenge for successive victories.

WAVEDANCER (8) faced the outside second line last time when sent to the post as the favourite. Trying to make a closing raid, he was 7m from the winner. In a tricky contest, he can be chiming in.

JAMAICAN RESORT (3) tried to take them all the way here two starts back when collared in the closing stages and finishing 2m away with the bronze. He can fire some early bullets.

RACE SIX

VILLAGE SMIRKER (8)
retreated from gate 6 last time out to settle on the inside back in the pack. Best of the chasing pack behind the huge winner AUGUSTA HANOVER. It followed a tough run when sitting parked from gate 4. There is a moment of glory awaiting a runner in this maiden raffle.

HURRIKANE MEL (1) fired out from this same gate two runs back when trying to take them all the way but was collared in the closing stages to be 4m from the winner ROYAL WINKLE. Beaten by the second line last time, she has the gate and might just have the winning ticket.

HEZA BLING (9) is a 3YO Bling It On gelding on debut for Peter Greig. With a steady preparatory trial, he strikes an open maiden to kick off his career.

GHOST TRAIN (5) was sent to sit parked from this same alley last time out and wilted as AUGUST HANOVER put them to the sword. He can be better in this.

RACE SEVEN

TRIOLI (2)
was runner-up in three successive attempts with two of those when beaten a nose and a neck. Putting in a real head-scratcher last start where she wilted badly, a trial embargo was imposed. Earning the return ticket with a slick piece of work, she has the gate to gain redemption.

CHASIN DREAMZ (4) eased from gate 6 last time to settle rearward and was making good metres in the closing stages when running the winner to a 2m margin. Holding on for 3rd when working hard from the wide gate three starts back, she can get closer to throw it down.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7) fired off the arm from gate 6 last time out to take control but could not see it out when 8m in arrears of the winner. Tucked away in the run, he will be searching for gaps.

SONNY ORLANDO (8) was returning from a freshen last start where he was able to find the 1x1 trail when finishing 3m from the winner. Scoring here four runs back, he can press through to feature.

RACE EIGHT

TEACHERS PET (6)
had her form taper off after going on a real heater earlier in the season where she was a winner in 7 of 8 starts. Fading late last week from the pocket trail as CIRCLE LINE dictated in front, it followed a run when snookered away. Despite the tough gate, she can bounce back.

AROONA (1) burrowed through from this same gate last start before taking cover. Trying to make a late raid, he was 6m from the winner LITTLEDEE. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior where he retreated in the early stages, he can be close enough to throw down a challenge in this.

BERTILS FIREFOX (7) was runner-up last start when rolling forward to sit parked and graft it out when 3m from the winner. Buried from inside the second line the start prior, he will be probing.

FLASH FREDDIE (5) has not had much go his way at his past couple, the latest where he ended near the rear searching for a spot. The gate stings again but this should be a shade easier than last start.
