RACE ONE

ALLANON (3) was second up in Qld last start where he was able to drop into the trail after starting from the 20m tape. Chasing to hold on for silver behind BANFF, it followed a first up trip where he was locked away against the poles. He finds conditions to open his Qld account.

PADDY PANTS (9) was resuming last start where he was able to settle into the 1x1 trail from the 30m tape but could not go on with it over the latter stages. Fitter for the outing, he can issue a challenge against this line up.

JACCKA WATCH (11) is pushed to 50m after overcoming the 40m last start. Turing his campaign around after some huge defeats, he powered over the top to score last time and can repeat.

MARLEY NOVA (7) closed out in nice order when returning from a long break here two starts back and second up was sent forward early. She can break the maiden status with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: ALLANON (3), PADDY PANTS (9), JACCKA WATCH (11), MARLEY NOVA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLANON (3) to win

RACE TWO

After three runs back from a spell FRANCO MACHO (9) might just have found the right conditions to open his Qld account. Charging home when resuming to be just a half-head from MAGICAL MAYA, he tackled a 70Series where he was just 5m from HIPSTAR in the heat. This looks within reach.

CALF PEN (8) has his share of vices and last start was resuming from a spell when making an error and was sent back to the trials. Earning the return, his lead in trial before the first up run was full of merit and if able to keep it together, will be probing for the gaps to challenge.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (4) has been a model of consistency in recent outings, the latest when worried out of it after setting the tempo. That made it 7 on the bounce in the money, and he can go again.

SQUARE DEALER (7) is banished to outside gate owing to a last start error where he missed the start a long way. Finishing midfield, it was a smart effort considering, and he can be joining in here.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO MACHO (9), CALF PEN (8), LITTLELIONELJAMES (4), SQUARE DEALER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO MACHO (9) to win

RACE THREE

The front line of this race looks stacked with speed and pressure and a solid tempo can set it up for a swooper. In that mould, SURF ACE (10) can follow through early after gate 7 put it out of reach last time in a Peak of the Creek heat. A tidy effort two back, he will be hoping they go to war up front.

ANIMADO (2) should take plenty of benefit from his first appearance in Qld where he was returning from a spell with 4 months since his last appearance. Grafting out a determined first over victory, he took his record to 5 wins and 10 minors from just 21 attempts. He can be throwing it down again.

GOLDEN SAND (1) secures the improved alley after facing the outside front line from his past two starts. Fading out in a 70Final last start after being sent to sit parked, he will ensure the tempo.

B MAC C (6) was not suited at Redcliffe last start when too far back and against the tempo was always facing a task. His previous two runs were sectionally super, and he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: SURF ACE (10), ANIMADO (2), GOLDEN SAND (1), B MAC C (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SURF ACE (10) to win

RACE FOUR

After doing a power of work last start from gate 7, MISTERFREEZE (3) was game in defeat when still under 5m from the winner ITS MR CLOONEY. A beaten fav two starts back in a small field after pressing to the front from gate 5, he can take control early here and look to see it out.

KEY LARGO (6) was chasing down a hat-trick of victories last start when a second line gate led to his undoing as ITS MR CLOONEY controlled it from the front. Too strong in front two starts back from this same gate over this trip, he will be powering up early and if able to get across will throw it down.

ITS MR CLOONEY (9) made the most of a front-line gate in this grade two starts back when taking control soon after the start and claiming a dictating win. Not suited last start, he can press through to feature.

OUR MAJOR DAY (4) is on the back up from Saturday night where he was obliged to work hard in the run and fought gamely for the bronze behind BITCOIN. He can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: MISTERFREEZE (3), KEY LARGO (6), ITS MR CLOONEY (9), OUR MAJOR DAY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTERFREEZE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Rolling forward from gate 4 here last time out and forced to sit parked, VOODOO FELLA (6) was trying to fight in the closing stages when finishing 6m from the dictating winner MAYWYN TROUBADOR. Buried in the run the start prior, his record on this deck is a query, but he looks to have found the right conditions.

CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (4) will be forced to start from outside the front line after a last start indiscretion where he was left chasing from gate 5. Only 2m in arrears of the winner two starts back when sent to the front from the outside alley, he finds the right opposition to overcome the gate.

LANCELOT BROMAC (8) is never too far away and with the second line options can find a nice position in transit to run his usual honest race. He can add another minor to the tally.

ROCKNHOLME (3) is winless here on this deck but lands the right type of conditions to look to get one on the board. A wide gate was his undoing last start and getting handy here can aid his chances.

SELECTIONS: VOODOO FELLA (6), CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (4), LANCELOT BROMAC (8), ROCKNHOLME (3)
SUGGESTED BET: VOODOO FELLA (6) to win

RACE SIX

Able to capitalise on the conditions of the race due to the shorter back up, GO THE RED (5) can look to claim his second maiden victory in five days. Finding the trail last start he was able to dart into space in the stretch to score a narrow victory. With the wining confidence, he can repeat.

LUCKY JIM (2) fired off the arm from gate 7 last start and setting a steady tempo was collared in the closing strides by GO THE RED to be just a half-neck away. With the improved alley, he can take control more cheaply and be gripping on into the stretch.

POTTER (7) was working hard in the run last start and despite the tough trip was able to hold on for the bronze. He faces the tough gate once again but can make a podium play.

DOLLAR BUCKS (4) has been freshened since his last appearance when chasing home behind the smart BORELLA. 2m away in grabbing 3rd at Redcliffe the start prior, he has podium claims fresh.

SELECTIONS: GO THE RED (5), LUCKY JIM (2), POTTER (7), DOLLAR BUCKS (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  GO THE RED (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

Content to take a trail and soon looking in danger three back along the poles last start, LEESA CASTLETON (3) showed great acceleration when the gap opened to dart through and claim a smart victory. Hitting the line smartly the start prior from back in the pack, this is well within her grasp.

KENNY KEKO (1) completed a threepeat last start when pressing on from gate 5 under mobile conditions and gripping on for a narrow victory. A winner from the front tape over this trip two back when taking charge of proceedings, she can step and be mighty hard to hold out.

KAR MANOR (5) made an error last start that possibly cost him a victory after resetting to be 8m away in holding 3rd. Ending his chances with a mistake two back, if he trots cleanly, he is a threat.

MATATOKI (2) tackled the pacers last start and was only 3m in arrears of the winner over the Redcliffe sprint trip. With a safe get away from the 10m tape, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: LEESA CASTLETON (3), KENNY KEKO (1), KAR MANOR (5), MATATOKI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LEESA CASTLETON (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

Chasing down a hat-trick of victories last start, BRAEVIEW FELLA (4) was beaten by a second line gate when finishing midfield. Making the most of the lamp lighting duties in securing successive wins at the mile from the front end, he can look to get across here to stake his claim.

BLUE SHARD (1) burrowed through from this gate two starts back and setting the tempo, was collared in the closing strides, finishing under 2m from the winner. Seeing it out last start after pinching a steady opening half, he lands all the options here to throw down the challenge.

BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (5) broke through at Redcliffe last start to overcome a long winless streak and put his 2nd win on the board. This will be tougher from the wide gate, but he can be joining in.

ROLLED IN GOLD (2) was sent forward from a wide gate at Redcliffe last start and working hard in the run was able to finish just 1m from the winner. She can make a play again here.

SELECTIONS: BRAEVIEW FELLA (4), BLUE SHARD (1), BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (5), ROLLED IN GOLD (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

With just two starts since crossing the Tasman DELLARIO (3) has been freshened since the latest appearance where he faced a 10m impost but never got warm in the closing stages. Grabbing the silver at his first outing when under 5m from ZEALOUS SPUR, he finds conditions to cash in.

BANFF (2) opened his account last time out when able to step straight to the front and once in control was never headed. With added fitness from three runs back this season, he was a tidy 3rd when second up and can be safely away to issue his challenge.

MISS MEMPHIS (1) is a 2YO tackling the older campaigners and has shown to be a quick beginner from the tapes when she can put it together. Grabbed int eh closing stages of the Triad Final lasty start, she is only getting 10m from a winning 3YO which makes it a big ask.

MINNIE BOW TIQUE (7) has now had two runs back from a spell where she has faced the 50m handicap in each. Picking up some metres last start, the smaller field size can help her chances.

SELECTIONS: DELLARIO (3), BANFF (2), MISS MEMPHIS (1), MINNIE BOW TIQUE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: DELLARIO (3) to win
