RACE ONE

SLICK SOPHIE (3) tackled a mare’s only contest last start and after having an early shot for the front, was repelled and then finished down the line behind CALA JANE. Grabbed in the last strides by THE GROGFATHER two starts back when trying to go all the way, she can look to dictate here.

FLO RYDA (1) had this alley last start and was soon shuffled to three back and searching for the openings as TARGARYEN swept over the top. Making some nice metres in the closing stages two starts back to grab 3rd at Redcliffe, he will be locked away and ready to issue the challenge.

ALTA REVELERY (10) was chasing down a hat-trick of victories two starts back when tackling a strong 3YO contest taken by TIMS A TROOPER. Fading out behind FUTURE ASSURED last time, he is a podium hope here.

JACKKA WALLY (4) will be second up here and should strip fitter from his return where he met a hot contest flush with speed when down the line behind TARGARYEN. He can be better second up.

SELECTIONS: SLICK SOPHIE (3), FLO RYDA (1), ALTA REVELERY (10), JACKKA WALLY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SLICK SOPHIE (3) to win

RACE TWO

A tricky race here with a few horses dropping somewhat in grade and a front-line flush with speed and power. BITCOIN (9) made the most of a tight alley to charge out and take them all the way in Saturday night company three runs back. The gates have been against him in both runs since, but he can secure the right trip in the early stages to be in a striking position.

HIPSTAR (8) faces a potentially nasty gate dependent on early pace. He is however going well enough that he can find the gaps to challenge. A winner at his past three in succession, he charged home off the speed two back. Tempo he should get, luck he will need.

STREITKID (6) was second up from a spell last start and well supported from gate 1. With the lamp lighting duties costing an exorbitant 25.9, he was out of bullets but fought gamely. A cheaper opening half will aid his chances.

BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (4) worked ahead from gate 4 last start and did some early work before receiving cover and finishing just 3m from ASHARK. A 2138m winner three back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BITCOIN (9), HIPSTAR (8), BITCOIN (9), STREITKID (6), BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (4),
SUGGESTED BET: BITCOIN (9) to win

RACE THREE

Taking benefit from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell, JUDGE JUJON (1) lands all the options from the gate to make his play. Buried away from the second line first up, he was making some nice closing metres behind GOSLING IN FLIGHT. The gate gives him every hope>

ACE LOMBO (4) settled in the running line at the mile two starts back and when launching his raid powered away to claim a 21m margin. Buried from inside the second line over the 2138 last start, a return to the mile and the front line can be the catalyst for him to throw down the challenge.

ONLY ONE DON (8) settled in the running line last time from gate 9 and did not gave the smoothest passage home. A big winner in a PB rate two starts back, he was fresh up last start and can chime in.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (9) slid across from gate 5 to find the 1x1 last start and then had the closing speed to power over the tip to victory. Trailing through early, he can be joining in late again here.

SELECTIONS: JUDGE JUJON (1), ACE LOMBO (4), ONLY ONE DON (8), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JUDGE JUJON (1) to win

RACE FOUR

This is a strong mare’s contest that is a Saturday night event pulled back a day. From gate 1 last week LADY AVANA (8) was trying to take them all the way and was collared in the last stride by CALA JANE. Sweating on the 1 looking to go all the way, that scenario will see her staling the speed and ready to strike.

MISDEMEANOR (1) returns to Qld and joins the Narissa McMullen stable. Down the line in her last three starts here in the Winter, she was spelled and returned with a pair of runs at Bathurst. With the right gate she can show her early speed to throw down the challenge.

CALA JANE (3) eased into the running line here last week from gate 4 and owned the best closing speed to arrive right on the wire. Positioning cheaply again from this alley, she is right in the mix.

SARAH ANNE (6) faced gate 7 last week and was sent forward to sit parked. With the speed on throughout, she was in for the fight in holding 3rd. The gate stings again and she looks a place hope.

SELECTIONS: LADY AVANA (8), MISDEMEANOR (1), CALA JANE (3), SARAH ANNE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-8

RACE FIVE

Beaten by gate 5 last time out when eased soon after the start at Redcliffe, SIGNOR JUJON (9) could not reel them in over the closing stages when 10m from the winner. Charging home from deep in the pack two starts back, he can trail through early and finds a winnable contest.

BLISSFULL DONNA (3) fired out from gate 3 last start when making her first appearance here in Qld and from the front was never in danger with an easy 9m victory. This race is a similar grade and if she can touch down on the markers cheaply, will be throwing down a big challenge.

PAGO PAGO (1) was too strong for them at Marburg last start when sitting parked and grafting out a narrow victory. Runner-up from three pegs two starts back at Redcliffe, the gate is a big help.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (5) has been racing in consistent fashion on The Triangle and will be looking to convert that to the big deck. Taking them all the way last start, she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (9), BLISSFULL DONNA (3), PAGO PAGO (1), IM A CLASSY GIRL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (9) to win

RACE SIX

Second up from over 12-months off the scene, MAJOR RUMBLE (4) was never in danger at Redcliffe when sent forward to open the account in easy style. It was a slow closing quarter but with added fitness and a return to The Creek where he was 4m away when resuming, he can look for the repeat.

SUNNY COVE (9) should appreciate the wider expanses on offer here, with all his career having been on The Triangle to date. Firing out from gate 3 to lead them up last start over the 1780, he was collared late by the smart ARKIN WICKED. With the right early trail, he poses a serious threat.

DELTA THREE (1) is a 4YO mare stepping out in Qld for the first time, her last race appearance back in Jan in the South Island of NZ. With a sound trial, she has the gate to feature fresh.

CORVETTE JOE (8) was a fresh up winner after two years off the scene to open his win ledger. Back in the pack last start and unable to get warm behind ACE LOMBO, he has the gate to chime in.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR RUMBLE (4), SUNNY COVE (9), DELTA THREE (1), CORVETTE JOE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Finding the pocket trail last start from lane 4 behind the front tape, MY RUMOUR HAS IT (9) was trying to make a late play with only RIGONDEAUX able to get past her. Strong to the line two starts back when 4m in arrears of the winner, she follows the right beginner to capitalise.

KENNY KEKO (4) was sent out fav last start from the 10m tape and was soon back in the line and then could not muster the closing speed to reel them in. A winner at her previous three in succession, she is a four-time winner here at The Creek and finds the chance to challenge.

MILLY AN EYRE (1) should appreciate the mobile conditions from this alley, having placed in 2 of her past 3 outings from behind the start car. Not suited last start at Marburg, she is a place player.

MATATOKI (5) made an error here on Tuesday to end his chances but was able to reset and chase gamely. Settling handy to the action, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (9), KENNY KEKO (4), MILLY AN EYRE (1), MATATOKI (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

A winner six starts back when firing out from gate 2 at Redcliffe to take them all the way, nothing has been in the favour of CLARES FOOL (1) since. Doing it the tough way first over when a 4m 2nd to subsequent winner SHAKATIE, conditions look ideal and he lands the gate to dictate.

ISNTTHATRIGHT (9) should take some benefit from his last start where he was second up in Qld, starting from this same alley and chasing hard for the silver behind BLISSFULL DONNA. Pressing through at the start, he can be ready to make a closing challenge.

FEELING THE POWER (5) has only had two prior outings here at HQ, returning one placing. Making some late metres to grab the bronze last start from the second line at Redcliffe, he can join in.

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (10) was a Redcliffe winner three runs back when working home wide off the track from the outside second line gate. Collared in the last strides here two back, she is a hope.

SELECTIONS: CLARES FOOL (1), ISNTTHATRIGHT (9), FEELING THE POWER (5), WONDERWOMAN JUJON (10)
SUGGESTED BET: CLARES FOOL (1) to win

RACE NINE

Still a maiden, it is an ask for MARLEY NOVA (3) to keep fronting up against experienced performers, but her recent efforts suggest a win is imminent. Pressing ahead from the 20m last start to the front, she was collared in the closing stages as JET LEGS darted through. Just a half-neck away two back, this might just be the account opener.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (2) made a mess of the start last time from the 30m tape and her chances were ended. Stepping safely and working to the front from the 20m tape here two starts back, she fought them off to claim a half-neck margin. With good early hustle she can throw down a challenge.

HAMMER SON (8) started off the 40m impost here on Tuesday and was hitting the line in nice order to grab the bronze. With a handy mobile record and the second line options as the lone runner off the back, he is right in this.

FLYIN FIRST CLASS (4) gets mobile conditions for the first time since arriving in Qld after making errors in both starts. Her only career victory was from behind the start car, and she can feature.

SELECTIONS: MARLEY NOVA (3), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (2), HAMMER SON (8), FLYIN FIRST CLASS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MARLEY NOVA (3) to win
