RACE THREE

Defeated just once in four attempts since arriving in the Sunshine State, it was this same gate that was the undoing of SOEXTRA (7) two starts back. Firing across to lead them up, it was a sizzling tempo with the winner coming off his back. Despite the wide gate once again, he is up to this.

KARLOO BRADLEY (2) found conditions here last week to open his Qld account, pressing forward from gate 4 to take control over the 2138m trip and take them all the way. Runner-up to SOEXTRA two starts back when sticking to the inside from gate 8, he can be close enough to issue a challenge.

GIRL FROM OZ (4) has limited exposure at the middle trip, having never been tested over the AP 2138m and having had just 3 attempts at a similar trip. Her run was solid last start when three-wide from the 700m and a return to the front line helps.

BETTOR JIGGLE (9) got the better of SOEXTRA here two starts back, sitting on his back and then making the closing shot a winner up the stretch. Game in defeat when parked last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SOEXTRA (7), KARLOO BRADLEY (2), GIRL FROM OZ (4), BETTOR JIGGLE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SOEXTRA (7) to win

SELECTIONS: COPPERFIELD (1), ISOLATION (3), LETS BLAZE (8), KATACHA MAN (4)

MAJIC MOMENT (3) was snookered away two starts back in the Fillies Feature and rattled home in the stretch to run the winner UPTOWN BEACHGIRL to a lip. Overcoming gate 7 last week against the older mares to take a qualifier, a return to her own age from this gate can see her challenge.
