RACE ONE

HOLLYWOODBOUND (6) should take some good upside from her last appearance where she was resuming from a spell. Pressing forward from gate 5 to sit parked, she was in for the fight in finishing 4m from the winner MAJORMISS. Despite the tough gate, this looks an open contest.

IMA MIDNIGHT REBEL (2) has had 3 runs back from a spell in her latest campaign, hitting the line in nice order last time when 4m from MAJORMISS. Forced to retreat two starts back, she can settle handy to the action from this alley to make a challenge.

ENGLISH DANCE (1) returns from a spell without the benefit of a public trial, his last appearance back in June when finishing at the rear of the field. With the benefit of the gate, he can feature fresh.

DARED TO DREAM (4) showed early hustle here two starts back from gate 4 and finding the pocket trail grabbed the bronze behind TACTICS ARE ROLLIN. Fresh since her last outing, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: HOLLYWOODBOUND (6), IMA MIDNIGHT REBEL (2), ENGLISH DANCE (1), DARED TO DREAM (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

DELIGHT OF RANI (8) has placed in both starts since returning from a long break and joining the Jack Butler stable. Beaten in red figures at both starts, she was grafting it out from gate 6 last time and went within a half-head of taking the prize. She looks to get her chance again.

BOUNTYHUNTER (2) continues to work closer to the account opener, finishing as the runner-up in all three starts since arriving in Qld. Grabbed last start up the passing lane after setting the tempo, he can use his early speed to throw down the challenge.

MAJOR PAINT (1) is still chasing his first minor placing as well as the maiden breaker and should secure a nice trip in behind the speed here. With the easy trip, he can make a play.

EXWHYGEETEE (6) was forced to sit parked last start and was out of gas turning off the back stretch to finish nearer the rear as PAYOUT arrived. Limiting the early burn will be key to his hopes.

SELECTIONS: DELIGHT OF RANI (8), BOUNTYHUNTER (2), MAJOR PAINT (1), EXWHYGEETEE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DELIGHT OF RANI (8) to win

RACE FOUR

NON PASSARE (8)
is an elusive customer that is mighty hard to catch but might just have found the conditions to bob up here. Gate 6 was his undoing last start when forced to retreat which followed a 3rd but where he was a long way off the winner. Tempo and a trail look to play in his favour.

ELPINE SALLY (4) found the front last start over the sprint trip and after a relatively easy time of it was unable to see it out, collared in the closing stages to be a head from the winner. Taking them all the way here three starts back, she can look for the front to issue the challenge.

AWAYOVERNIGHT (7) was a winner first up in Qld when able to ease across to the front and then dig to fight them off. Runner-up last start to CANONLYBEONESIR, he will be searching for a way clear.

IMA CHICK MAGNET (2) grabbed the bronze last start behind WHATA REACTOR after easing down to the markers. With the early speed to settle handy, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: NON PASSARE (8), ELPINE SALLY (4), AWAYOVERNIGHT (7), IMA CHICK MAGNET (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (8)
could not get warm over the closing stages last start when finishing 8m in arrears of the winner GULMARG. Grabbed in the last strides two starts back after trying to see it out, it followed a passing lane victory. Pressing through early, he finds the line up to strike.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5) started off the second line last time out where he was able to find the 1x1 trail. Owning the best closing speed and pulling clear to an 8m margin, it followed a luckless effort when forced to retreat. The gate dents his challenging chances.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (2) can fire the early bullets to find position and look to continue her handy form that has seen her in the money at 3 of her past 4, the latest when only a half-neck away.

SUBTLE ADVICE (4) was able to show the necessary hustle to lead here two starts back and from the front take them all the way. Not suited last start when working hard, he is a podium chance here.

SELECTIONS: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (8), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5), IM A CLASSY GIRL (2), SUBTLE ADVICE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (8) to win

RACE SIX

VERMONT (9)
has been super consistent in recent outings, the latest when finishing 3m from the winner to take 3rd. IN the money at her past six in succession which includes three victories, she can rely on the right tempo to power home to the prize.

SHAKATIE (1) made the most of the gate last start when darting through to take control and take them all the way in a PB winning rate. Close up in grabbing 2nd two starts back, she has the gate to burrow through and will be trying to fight them off.

ROCKNHOLME (5) was not too far from CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART last start over the AP mile which had followed a sound effort from gate 6 when retreating early. His best work is on this deck, and he can feature.

JANG PEL (8) was able to work to the front from gate 3 last start and once in control took them all the way to a narrow victory. With the right trail, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: VERMONT (9), SHAKATIE (1), ROCKNHOLME (5), JANG PEL (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  VERMONT (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

MOUNT HERCULES (5)
has worked his way into some handy form and lines up here chasing down a hat-trick of victories. Easing from gate 6 before charging home last start to a 5m margin, it followed a passing lane victory. Despite the awkward gate, he can chase down the threepeat.

LIFEINHEAVEN (7) should secure the ideal trip in behind the speed here to wait for the passing lane to issue the challenge. Effective when saved for a closing shot, she did exactly that here three runs back when arriving up the inside. 3rd at her next run, she will be probing the openings.

MAJOR MIOSCHIEF (8) pressed on with it last start from gate 5 over the AP mile to take control but was unable to see it out when finishing midfield to FAST TRACKER. In this line up he can feature.

AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (1) was back in winning form last start where she was able to overcome the second line to claim victory at huge odds. The gate is a huge asset here.

SELECTIONS: MOUNT HERCULES (5), LIFEINHEAVEN (7), MAJOR MIOSCHIEF (8), AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MOUNT HERCULES (5) to win

BRIDGE COIN (1) had no luck last start and never found the space when needed to get into the contest. Too far back against the tempo two starts back where SMOOTH CASH dictated in front, his effort three back behind ANIMADO was solid and he looks to have the right currency here.

LETS BLAZE (5) was sent to the post in red figures last start and after settling back in the pack, gave his supporters some anxious moments, ultimately receiving the verdict by the barest possible margin. Luckless the start prior, the gate stings but he is up to the challenge.

HE SAID SHE SAID (2) was asked to graft it out when parked here last time out after being sent around from the second line but could not finish it off. An improved gate is a big plus.

PRINCE JOY (3) lands his best gate for some time and can look to possie up close to the action to make the most of it. In the money at 5 of his past 7 which includes two wins, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BRIDGE COIN (1), LETS BLAZE (5), HE SAID SHE SAID (2), PRINCE JOY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIDGE COIN (1) to win

RACE NINE

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5)
faced gate 7 in a 70Heat last start where he was snagged off the arm to the rear and then used inside runs to run the winner to a neck. Following similar tactics the start prior behind BETTORS HOPE, he is a nine-time winner on this deck and can get into double figures.

BEACH MAGIC (1) returns from a NSW trip where he went without a cheque in four appearances after resuming from a spell.  Heading South off the back of a win here five runs back at his last run of the prep where he settled scored up the passing lane, he can make full use of the gate to challenge.

JUST JOSHIN (9) started form gate 8 last start when settled in the running line and making a closing challenge to get within a half-neck. Relying on the tempo, he can be descending on them.

LA SAFRON (3) eased form gate 6 to find the poles and look for short cuts last time out, making some good metres to grab the bronze. Positioning cheaply will be key to his chances.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5), BEACH MAGIC (1), JUST JOSHIN (9), LA SAFRON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) to win

RACE TEN

FAVREAU (1)
tackled the 1780m trip from the second line last start when sent to the post as the fav. After settling in the 1x1 trail he was unable to finish them off, holding 2nd behind AQUA CRUISER. Runner-up three starts back, he lands all the options from this gate to capitalise.

WHATA TERROR (7) eased from gate 6 last start over the AP mile and from back in the pack was trying to make a late raid in finishing 6m in arrears of the winner. A tough effort from the second line three starts back when only 3m away, he will be searching for a way clear.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (3) was a winner here three starts back when pressing on from this same gate, taking control and taking a 5m margin. Runner-up last start, she can be forward to feature again.

MONTEREY JACK (5) started inside the second line last start and was buried in the run before picking off a few metres late to grab 3rd. He can work if required and can be put into the contest.

SELECTIONS: FAVREAU (1), WHATA TERROR (7), HEAVENLY WISDOM (3), MONTEREY JACK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-7
