Racing Queensland advises that following an extension of the track refurbishment works which are currently being undertaken at Ipswich Turf Club, the Class 2 Handicap (1666m) scheduled for Wednesday, November 9 has now been transferred to Sunshine Coast Turf Club to be run on Friday, November 11.
As a result of the rescheduling, the race will now be run over 1600 metres.
Nominations for this race close Monday, November 7 at 11am. Horses that have been declared in the weights for the race at Ipswich will be given preference in the ballot.
Further, two additional races have been included in the Ipswich Turf Club program. They are:
- Class 1 Handicap - 1350m - $35,000; and
- Benchmark 65 Handicap - 2150m - $35,000.
Nominations for these races only close Monday, November 7 at 7.30am. Weights will be published as soon as possible.
