The annual Kumbia Race Club Cup non-TAB meeting on Tuesday, November 1 has been abandoned due to weather and the state of the track.

Approximately 20mm of rainfall has fallen at the racetrack since 1am this morning, making the track unsuitable for racing.

A phantom betting meeting will be conducted at the racecourse with all facilities available.

This meeting was scheduled to feature a Country Cups Challenge qualifier.

This race has now been rescheduled to be conducted at the Mount Perry Race Club race meeting on Saturday, November 12 – replacing the previously scheduled Open Hcp 1400m.

An additional race has also been added to the program. Details are:

  • Country Cups Challenge Qualifier/Mount Perry Cup Open Quality Hcp - 1400m - $15,000
  • Benchmark 65 Hcp - 1000m - $10,000

Nominations for the Mount Perry meeting close at 11am, Tuesday November 8.

RQ will liaise with the Kumbia Race Club in regard to a future replacement race meeting.
