Regional Cast has been appointed as Queensland’s Non-TAB racing vision provider for the next two years.

The agreement will see more than 200 non-TAB meetings - incorporating 98 clubs - shown in their entirety.

All non-TAB race meetings in Queensland will be available free and on-demand, showcased via a dedicated live channel, with replays also available via the Racing Queensland Non-TAB YouTube page.

A dedicated streaming platform is also expected to be available from December, 2022.

RQ CEO Brendan Parnell said that the non-TAB circuit in Queensland continues to go from strength-to-strength, with almost $11 million in prize money paid out over the last 12 months across almost 1,200 races.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to announce Regional Cast as the vision provider for the non-TAB racing sector in Queensland,” Mr Parnell said.

“In the last year, we saw more than half a million views from 42 countries on our product, and it is a testament to the breadth of ownership and interest in community racing across the state.

“On an annual basis, 85 towns in the Sunshine State host a race meeting which is either the biggest or second biggest event for that year, with country racing at the forefront of this activity.”

Regional Cast Managing Director Neale Parry said that they are excited to have been awarded the contract to beam the best of Queensland’s country racing across the world.

“It is a credit to RQ that they continue to invest in this vital service for regional Queensland communities,” Mr Parry said.

“We are really looking forward to continuing to improve services and coverage as part of this partnership to ensure that Queensland’s community racing is more accessible than ever.”
