RACE ONE

ALTA REVELRY (7) has a handy record here at the Peninsula with 3 wins from his 5 outings. Last start from outside the second line over the AP mile, he was rattling home in the closing stages to be just a neck from the winner in sharp closing panels. He just needs to spot the gap to knock them out.

JACKKA WALLY (2) is 1 from 1 here at the Peninsula and steps out third up from a spell after finishing down the line behind subsequent winner TARGARYEN first up before being under 2m from the winner second up. He has the early hustle and if taking control will take some stopping.

THE IRISH EAGLE (1) eased from gate 4 here last start and was hitting the line smartly in the closing stages to be just a head from the winner. He can burrow through and a big winner in front from this alley four back, make his play.

JUST JOSHIN (9) was strong to the line last start in a 70Final where he was 5m from the winner TARGARYEN. At his best here at his home track, he can look to descend on them.

SELECTIONS: ALTA REVELRY (7), JACKKA WALLY (2), THE IRISH EAGLE (1), JUST JOSHIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ALTA REVELRY (7) to win

RACE TWO

MOTU CULLEN (9) was working home wide off the track last start from a second line alley when finishing midfield behind the dictating winner CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM. Runner-up two back over the AP 238m trip after making some closing metres, he can descend on the tired runners.

GETALOADATHISBRO (2) is staring down a winning hat-trick after wins at the 1780 and then the 2040. Charging home last start after being hemmed away three back, it followed a smart all the way effort from gate 5. He can set the tempo here and will be gripping on chasing the threepeat.

VODKA EN ICE (1) has been thereabouts in three runs since claiming his first win of the season here four starts back. 4m from the winner at each of his past two starts, the 2040 might be a query.

ARTISTIC SAINT (8) settled in the running line from this same gate last start and was sound to the line chasing home behind SWEDISH STARLET. 3rd here two starts back, he can feature in this line up.

SELECTIONS: MOTU CULLEN (9), GETALOADATHISBRO (2), VODKA EN ICE (1), ARTISTIC SAINT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MOTU CULLEN (9) to win

RACE THREE

MATAI REACTOR (2)
was runner-up here two starts back from the second line with that placing sandwiched between a pair of victories. Buried from gate 7 last week, he had the closing power to arrive once the gaps presented. Settling handy from this alley can see him capitalise.

BETTOR ROCKNROLL (5) started from the second line last time out when trying to make a closing raid, grabbing 2nd to PUSHINIT UPHILL. Starting fav here two back and fading after a tough trip outside the leader, he might need to roll the sleeves again here to issue the challenge.

OFFICE BAD BOY (1) was taken back from this gate 6 last start to settle rearward before trying to make a closing raid behind DOWNTOWN LUCCA. Just a neck away two starts back, this is his best gate for some time.

ABBEY DIADEMA (8) was a winner here two starts back when using the passing lane to dart through and grab the prize. Holding on for 3rd last start, she can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: MATAI REACTOR (2), BETTOR ROCKNROLL (5), OFFICE BAD BOY (1), ABBEY DIADEMA (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

CHAINLINC (6)
was sent to the post as fav last time out from outside the second line. Trying to launch a closing raid, he was under 2m from the winner STOMPEM. Runner-up his previous two starts including a narrow defeat over the AP mile, the gate stings, but he is up to the task.

WHATA JOURNEY (1) will be second up in Qld and faces the starter here on The Triangle for the first time. Fading in smart time from the pocket trail last start at The Creek, she has the early hustle to burrow through here and if she can hold on fresh with six weeks between starts, can challenge.

ONLYSBEST (8) was sent forward to sit parked last start and was able to hold on for the silver behind CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM. Buried at Marburg two starts back, he can follow through to feature.

MISSTREPO (5) started from inside the second line last start where she ran the winner to a neck via the passing lane. Runner-up two back behind STOMPEM, the gate makes it a tougher ask here.

SELECTIONS: CHAINLINC (6), WHATA JOURNEY (1), ONLYSBEST (8), MISSTREPO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAINLINC (6) to win

RACE FIVE

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (4)
should appreciate a return to The Triangle, with all three of her career wins coming at this venue. A winner from gate 9 here four starts back, she was then just a half-head away at her next start at HQ. With early speed she can look to lob a handy spot to make her play.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (7) made the most of her early hustle here two starts back when pouncing on the poles from gate 2 and taking them all the way. Forced to retreat soon after the start last time over the AP mile, she picked off some late metres and will be probing here.

ROCKNHOLME (9) was sent to the post as fav last week but was never in the mix when finishing 15m from the winner. Attacking the line three back for the silver, he has been a hard watch of late.

BORSELLINO (8) will strip fitter from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Not suited when forced to sit parked over the AP mile, this looks more suitable.

SELECTIONS: WONDERWOMAN JUJON (4), IM A CLASSY GIRL (7), ROCKNHOLME (9), BORSELLINO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WONDERWOMAN JUJON (4) to win

RACE SIX

LORD DENZEL (1)
led them up from this gate last week and swung for home trying to repel the challengers with only MATAI REACTOR getting the better of him. From the trail two back he held on for 2nd and with limited pressure to his outside, will be gripping on again here.

LIVING FREE (7) made the most of his chances two starts back, taking control and fighting them off to score a 7m margin. Pinching a 33 panel las start in front, he was collared on the line when beaten a head. Stalking the speed here, he can issue the closing challenge.

MILLY AN EYRE (5) is a trotter taking on the pacers and is given no favours wider off the track. Placed in one of her two starts here on The Triangle, she is a podium chance again.

OUR DOLLY (8) forced the issue last start and worked to the front where she was able to control the tempo to claim a smart 9m victory. With the right trail from the second line, she can join in.

SELECTIONS: LORD DENZEL (1), LIVING FREE (7), MILLY AN EYRE (5), OUR DOLLY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE SEVEN

HURRICANE DREAM (6) was first up for the new stable two starts back and from the pocket trail was making a closing raid to get within a head of the winner. Completely luckless last start when striking trouble, the gate makes it tough, but she looks up to the task in this grade.

AS SHE SAYS (2) should appreciate this level of opposition and has the gate to settle handy to the action. Eased from gate 4 to find position last week in a much tougher contest claimed by SWEDISH STARLET, to back she was buried in the run behind subsequent winner EXCITING TIMES.

VILLAGE SMIRKER (9) led them up here last week and with a steady tempo was collared in the closing stages to finish 3m astern. Breaking the maiden two back, he can be joining in here.

BOKHARI (7) will need a slice of luck from this alley after breaking through for her first career victory last week. Finishing over the top with a smart effort, she will be searching for a way clear.

SELECTIONS: HURRICANE DREAM (6), AS SHE SAYS (2), VILLAGE SMIRKER (9), BOKHARI (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

LURKING (3)
has the lone win to his name but has been close up in four starts since arriving in Qld. Not suited when forced to sit parked last time, he was under 4m from the winner two starts back. Settling handy to the actions and limiting the work can see him make his play.

WHATA REACTOR (1) will appreciate the improved gate after not being suited from wider gates at her past two which has seen her faded in the latter stages. Assess her efforts here three back when leading from gate 2 to take them all the way and a similar scenario can play out in this.

CAUGHT OUT (8) was a winner here three starts back when finding the pocket trail from gate 3 and then making the passing lane shot a winning one. Grabbing the bronze last start, he has claims.

GULMARG (5) faces the wider gate after landing some nice alleys in recent attempts. Beaten a head from gate 1 here two starts back, he faded after a tough trip last time. He is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: LURKING (3), WHATA REACTOR (1), CAUGHT OUT (8), GULMARG (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LURKING (3) to win

RACE NINE

LOOKAT MEE (4)
was resuming from a spell here last week when asked to sit parked from gate 3, she was able to fight hard and hold on for the silver. Fitter for that run, she can look to press forward again and looks to find the conditions for the breakthrough.

GHOST TRAIN (1) landed gate 5 last start and was snagged to the rear and never really in the mix from there. Just 6m in arrears of the winner two starts back, he comes up with the good gate and with some early hustle can possie up to issue the challenge.

KISS THE AVIATOR (7) was in the 1x1 trail last start where he was first up in 16 months. Looming up wider on the track, he grabbed 3rd. The added fitness helps, and he will be probing for openings.

BETS ON MILLIE (6) will take benefit from her last start where she was first up in 12 months off the back of a change in stables. Copping the ODM embargo, she looks a podium player in this line up.

SELECTIONS: LOOKAT MEE (4), GHOST TRAIN (1), KISS THE AVIATOR (7), BETS ON MILLIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LOOKAT MEE (4) to win

RACE TEN

MY GIRL MANDY (1)
should appreciate the improved gate after facing a string of wider alleys in her past three starts. Taken back from gate 6 last start at Albion Park, she chased home behind the dead-heating winners. With the benefit of the good alley, she can capitalise.

HOLME BOY (6) has no favours from gate 6 but finds a race that might be within reach. Striking trouble last start from inside the second line, he was 7m away here two starts back. With the right run in transit, he can issue a challenge.

BATMAN JUJON (5) resumes from a let up after two starts earlier in the season where he was down the line in each. With the experience and time, he is a podium hope.

REESY (3) is an Art Major filly on debut for Ben Battle out of the former handy mare Bobbies Girl. With a pair of sound trials to prepare, she stays under watch from this gate.

SELECTIONS: MY GIRL MANDY (1), HOLME BOY (6), BATMAN JUJON (5), REESY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MY GIRL MANDY (1) to win
