RACE ONE

DOLLAR BUCKS (5) fired out from the wide gate over the AP mile last start where he tried to take them all the way but faded on the closing stages, holding 3rd behind ENGLISH DANCE. Bets of the rest behind THREE PARTS GREY two starts back, this looks his chance to open the account.

MY GIRL MANDY (1) had this same alley last start where she took the trail and held on for 3rd behind the big winner REESY. Beaten by a wide gate at headquarters two starts back, she again has the options form this alley to make a challenge.

ALWAYS IDLE (6) arrives in Qld with the Ben Battle stable after one run at Newcastle in early November. Making an error on that occasion, he stays under notice here.

HOLME BOY (7) was beaten by gate 6 last start and never got into the contest as REESY claimed a smart victory. With the economical peg trip, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: DOLLAR BUCKS (5), MY GIRL MANDY (1), ALWAYS IDLE (6), HOLME BOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLAR BUCKS (5) to win

RACE TWO

OLLIE ONE SHOT (1) was a very short price fav on debut back in September when holding on for 2nd despite doing plenty wrong. Given a break, he was first up here last week and again mad a costly error that ended his day. There looks to be a motor, can he put it together enough to cash in?

BOUNTYHUNTER (3) should appreciate a return to the front line after being drawn off the back at his past two outings. Leading them up three starts back when wore down over the latter stages, he can press forward here and if he happened to get across, would be right in the fight.

EXWHYGEETEE (6) has placed in 50% of his appearances, the latest when sent to sit parked last start and holding 3rd behind the breakaway winner DEECEE ROCKIN. The gate dents his hopes.

BLACK GEMSTONE (2) was angled to the poles last start for the economical trip where she was sound to the line behind ENGLISH DANCE. Settling handy can see her in the money in this line up.

SELECTIONS: OLLIE ONE SHOT (1), BOUNTYHUNTER (3), EXWHYGEETEE (6), BLACK GEMSTONE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

ARTFUL MASTER (4)
was building towards a win after placing in 2 of his first 3 runs back from three years off the scene. Those efforts were franked when he found space to get off the poles and charge home to score here last start in tidy fashion. Kept fresh, he finds the ideal conditions to repeat.

REEDS VISION (8) was a winner in the same type of race here three starts back when sent forward from gate 4 to take control and take them all the way. Down the line in two much tougher races since that victory, a return to these conditions can see her throw down the challenge.

BARROOM BLITZ (1) faced the inside second line gate last start and was soon angled into the running line and chasing hard as ROLLED IN GOLD arrived. From this gate she is a podium hope.

DESTINY BLUES (7) will be better suited drawn on the poles here after facing wide front and second line alleys at her past three starts. A winner here four back, she can be probing to fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: ARTFUL MASTER (4), REEDS VISION (8), BARROOM BLITZ (1), DESTINY BLUES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ARTFUL MASTER (4) to win

RACE FOUR

MATAI REACTOR (6)
has the wide gate to negotiate but might just be going well enough and find the right set up to add another win to the tally. Eased into the running line last start when 4m from the winner DUKE, he charged home to win here two starts ago. Early tempo will be his ally.

BATMAN BART (5) rolled forward from gate 4 last start and content to sit parked was able to grind it out and then pull clear to claim an 8m margin. Eased to the poles two starts back when 3m from MATAI REACTOR, he can get forward to challenge once again.

LORD DENZEL (4) was runner-up in successive outings on this deck and then after landing gate 1 for the third successive start, was able to go one better and lead throughout. He can press forward to feature.

CAUGHT OUT (7) will likely be snookered at some stage and needing a slice of luck for some open road to appear. IN the money at 3 of her past 4, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MATAI REACTOR (6), BATMAN BART (5), LORD DENZEL (4), CAUGHT OUT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MATAI REACTOR (6) to win

RACE FIVE

EASTBRO TEX (1)
is still yet to taste the spoils of victory in Qld but has managed to hit the board with 5 minors in his 8 appearances here on The Triangle. Grabbed in the last strides by WHATA REACTOR last time after setting the speed, he can burrow through and look for an early Xmas present.

WHATA REACTOR (7) made full use of gate 1 last start and with the options was tucked away before making the closing shot a winning one to take a 3m margin. With the stalking trip again here, she can be coiled and ready to strike.

GO JO JOLT (9) settled in the running line from gate 8 last start and was trying to join in over the latter stages when 3m adrift of the winner CROSSED LEGS. Look for her making a late play again.

TALEGGIO (4) was returning from a spell last time out at Marburg when finishing a half-neck from the winner JAYDES TERROR. Fitter for that outing, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: EASTBRO TEX (1), WHATA REACTOR (7), GO JO JOLT (9), TALEGGIO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: EASTBRO TEX , WHATA REACTOR  (1/7) quinella/exacta

RACE SIX

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (7)
will need a slice of luck and some clear space at some stage, but she has the class to capitalise. Firing out from gate 4 to dictate here two back and hold off the fast-finishing FRAME DRIVE, she tackled a much tougher AP battle last time. Just needs open space.

FRAME DRIVE (1) started form this gate two starts back and with the easy trip behind the speed took the closing dive up the passing lane. Running the winner to an eyelash, she was asked to sit parked last start from outside the second line. With the easy trip, she can again make a play.

PERFECT FEELING (2) has good early hustle and last start from gate 3 took control but could not see it out as DUKE collared him in the closing stages. He has the gate to take his shot.

MYSTICAL JAZZ (5) grabbed the bronze last start when settled in the 1x1 trail and making a late rally to be 4m from the winner. The wide gate dents her hopes.

SELECTIONS: WONDERWOMAN JUJON (7), FRAME DRIVE (1), PERFECT FEELING (2), MYSTICAL JAZZ (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE SEVEN

MISS FERNANDEZ (9)
has had 18 previous starts here at Redcliffe where she has been unable to cash in with a victory. Now with Trent Dawson, the mare has had two starts for a first up win at the Creek followed by a 3m 3rd. Fitter again from her latest outing, she can sail home over the top.

GABBYS IDEAL (1) fired off the arm last start over the mile at headquarters and was trying to take them all the way but a sub 28 third panel left her vulnerable at the close when finishing 2m in arrears of the winner. Back to The Triangle, she can capitalise from this gate.

MOTU AMETHYST (2) has worked her way back into some handy form and lines up here with a win and 3 minors from her past 4. Where she lands in running will be key to her chances.

VOODOO FELLA (4) tried to take them all the way last start from gate 1 over the AP mile when just failing to see it out as ACE LOMBO arrived. Never too far away, he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: MISS FERNANDEZ (9), GABBYS IDEAL (1), MOTU AMETHYST (2), VOODOO FELLA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS FERNANDEZ (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

SMOOTH CASH (1)
is a five-time winner in the Sunshine State, with four of those here on this deck. Unable to see it out last time over the AP 2138m when under 4m from the winner, he rattled home two back to be under 2m from the winner. He gets every chance from the gate to dictate.

BEACH MAGIC (7) had to ease to secure position last start from gate 3 and was trying to make a closing raid when 3m from the winner. A beaten fav from gate 1 in a slightly tougher contest two starts back, he should stalk the speed and be positioned to issue a closing challenge.

WINDY HILL WALLY (6) will be out to remain undefeated since joining Jack Butler, going back-to-back over this track and trip. Overcoming gate 5 in both victories, he can feature once again.

KNOCKAWARWON (5) is the big query runner, having his first start in over 18 months. A two-time winner from just six NSW appearances, he has trialled nicely in readiness and will derive great benefit from the outing.

SELECTIONS: SMOOTH CASH (1), BEACH MAGIC (7), WINDY HILL WALLY (6), KNOCKAWARWON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH CASH (1) to win

RACE NINE

MI FURIOSO TORO (5)
faced gate 6 last time out where he was snagged off the arm to settle at the rear before making a move at the 500 wide off the track. Looming strongly, he hit the front but in turn was collared by WINDY HILL WALLY. He can go one better this time.

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (2) was sent to the post as fav last time out when finishing 5m in arrears of WINDY HILL WALLY who franked that with a subsequent victory. Not much was in his favour two back from outside the second line over the AP mile and from this gate he can challenge.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (1) has been in some consistent form of late with placings in 3 of his past 4. Strong to the line last time for the silver, he secures lands all the favours from this alley.

BETTERTHAN POPSY (8) was first up in Qld off a spell last time out where he tackled the 2138m trip at HQ. Sound to the wire behind SWEDISH STARLET, he has claims with the right trip here.

SELECTIONS: MI FURIOSO TORO (5), MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (2), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (1), BETTERTHAN POPSY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MI FURIOSO TORO (5) to win

RACE TEN

CHASIN DREAMZ (4)
has worked her way back into some handy form after hitting the board at her past four on the bounce, including a pair of wins. Firing out to take them all the way last time from gate 5, she has the early hustle to possie up and take her shot.

MAJOR TRALEE (1) was exposed in the early stages before cover arrived last start and from the 1x1 trail grabbed the silver behind ISNTTHATRIGHT. A second line gate was his undoing two starts back and with the good alley here, can be in a position to throw down the challenge.

EXPLANATION NOTED (2) worked to the front last start over the AP mile and was trying to last the trip when fading into 3rd place. From this gate she can be forward to feature.

DUKE (7) is staring down a hat-trick of wins but will be relying on some luck as he looks in danger of being snookered here. If the gaps open in time, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: CHASIN DREAMZ (4), MAJOR TRALEE (1), EXPLANATION NOTED (2), DUKE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CHASIN DREAMZ (4) to win
