RACE ONE

NR 54 to 60 1660m:

BLACKJART BART (4) has been devoid of at luck his last two starts. If able to find a position in the running line with cover, he can make his presence felt.

BEACH MAGIC (1) draws to advantage in gate 1, he will be able to stalk the speed and look to come through via the sprint lane.

Four starts ago BE MY ROCK (2) stomped out a big mile running in 1.53.7 on the front end, devoid of luck since he is another that could improve from the better barrier.

CHAMONIX (9) turned the clock back last start when savaging the line coming from last, if able to repeat this race is not beyond him.

SELECTIONS:  BLACKJART BART (4), BEACH MAGIC (1), BE MY ROCK (2), CHAMONIX (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BLACKJACK BART Each way

RACE TWO

NR 45 to 49 1660m:

PEPPA BLISS (8) is a quality mare who certainly doesn’t win out of turn. She will need some mid race tempo and a slice of luck to take the prize.

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (5) produced a career best performance last start – leading all the way in 1.54.6. if able to find top again she would be the one to beat.

ROCK HAMMER (2) can press forward and find the fence, he could be a sharp improver.

DOOLITTLE DOZZIE (1) will relish a cheap run-in transit, her first start in a month today.

SELECTIONS:  PEPPA BLISS (8), WONDERWOMAN JUJON (5), ROCK HAMMER (2), DOOLITTLE DOZZIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PEPPA BLISS to win

RACE THREE

NR 45 to 49 1660m:

GWENTH P (6) has been impressive in two starts since crossing the ditch, with an awkward gate tonight she may have to be used at the start to find a position.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8) gets the services of Nathan Dawson tonight. The inside back row draws may harm his chances of victory, but with clear air he can be motoring late

MACH TORQUE (2) has featured in stable switch, so it would pay to keep safe.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (5) has talent but come up with an awkward barrier.

SELECTIONS:  GWENTH P (6), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (8), MACH TORQUE (2), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON to place

RACE FOUR

NR 50 to 53 2138m – JOHN & BERYL DAWSON LEGACY PACE:

Lovely touch to see the drivers donating their fee and percentages to Pancreatic Cancer Research.

STRONG RESPONSE (7) gets the services of the State’s leading driver Pete McMullen. Hitting the line strongly last Saturday night behind MIGHT AS WELL, those form lines should stack up well. With a career middle trip record of 5/18, STRONG RESPONSE looks well placed here.

STORMTIDE (5) will be driven by Taleah McMullen, every chance he will go searching for a running position on the front end, another who looks well placed tonight.

MASTER CHARLES (2) to be driven by Nathan Dawson should be able to use his natural gate speed and find the fence. He is a month between runs tonight.

BLUE BLOODZ (1) should get a cheap pegs line run and can finish close to them.

SELECTIONS: STRONG RESPONSE (7), STORMTIDE (5), MASTER CHARLES (2), BLUE BLOODZ (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Quinella 5 & 7

RACE FIVE

NR 30 to 40 1660m:

SOULWRITER (7) comes out of a Mares Qualifying Event last Saturday night, finding trouble at every turn. This race looks suitable to be bouncing back into the winners list.

RISKY BUSINESS (8) saluted at Marburg last Sunday after finding the top, he can find his way into the placings again.

CANNAN (5) draws a sticky middle gate, with luck in running he can figure.

FRAME DRIVE (2) might be able to zip over to pegs and improve sharply.

SELECTIONS:  SOULWRITER (7), RISKY BUSINESS (8), CANNAN (5), FRAME DRIVE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SOULWRITER to win

RACE SIX

NR 40 to 44 1660m:

FAKE CULLECTION (10) resumed last week with a rock-solid victory running down Fraya in 1.56.5. If she has improved off that run, Shane Graham may complete his hattrick.

SARASUN (2) has a PB mile of 1.55.3 and gate speed, if able to bring he best she is another with winning claims.

GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (7) loves to fly the arm, she can run another bold race if able to lead them up.

FRAYA (9) is an honest filly, just run down last start she has claims once again.

SELECTIONS:  FAKE CULLECTION (10), SARASUN (2), GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (7), FRAYA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FAKE CULLECTION to win

RACE SEVEN

NR 60 to 75 2138m:

THREE RIVERS (6) parked out and proved too strong in a last start victory in 1.54.8. With the solid middle trip numbers of 6: 3| 2 | 0, he again looks hard to beat.

DAZZLE ME (7) was first up for Wayne Graham last Saturday night, this former Derby runner was unextended in the run to the line. Keep safe.

YEP GOT CHOOKS (5) can sit hand in this small field and improve enough to figure.

THE HIGH COMMANDER (2) seems to save his best form for the mile trip, so happy to take him on tonight.

SELECTIONS:  THREE RIVERS (6), DAZZLE ME (7), YEP GOT CHOOKS (5), THE HIGH COMMANDER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THREE RIVER to win

RACE EIGHT

MAIDEN 1660m:

MARTY THE MARTIAN (2) was serviceable on debut, from the improved barrier and Adam Sanderson taking the reins he is a likely improver.

SAINT JUJON (3) is backing up from Redcliffe on Wednesday, she looks well placed to dominate again.

IM BELIEBER (5) is a new addition to the Ricky Thurlow barn, with only two career starts the 4YO would not shock to be competitive in QLD.

SKYLAR BREE (6) is a super consistent perform, the wide barrier may harm her winning chances if unable to zip over.

SELECTIONS:  MARTY THE MARTIAN (2), SAINT JUJON (3), IM BELIEBER (5), SKYLAR BREE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MARTY THE MARTIAN to place
