RACE ONE

A cracking contest to open the card where, despite a potentially awkward starting alley, TIZ A SIZZLER (5) can look to claim another victory. Forcing the issue to find the front last start from gate 6, he put them away with an electric 53.7 closing half. He is right up to the task.

BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (2) took control last start from gate 5 and was able to see it out which had followed a luckless 3rd when buried in the run and never spotting a gap. From the gate he can look to get across which will then avail the options.

MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (1) was game in defeat last start when sent forward to sit parked from the second line and able to hang on for the bronze. An easy trip here can see him grab another minor.

MANILA PLAYBOY (9) was strong to the line last start in open company when grabbing the silver behind TOMMY LINCOLN. Large in defeat three back to TIZ A SIZZLER, he will be descending.

SELECTIONS: TIZ A SIZZLER (5), BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS (2), MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (1), MANILA PLAYBOY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TIZ A SIZZLER (5) to win

RACE TWO

The middle of the line can always be a tricky spot but the challenge for ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (5) here looks a little easier than his most recent outing where he was first up from a spell. Runner-up to LYRICAL GENIUS from the pocket trail in that race, he will be tightened and looks up to the task.

IM FEELING FIREY (1) went on with it here last week at the mile to take control before releasing for the trail and then making the passing lane shot a winning one. Runner-up to SWEDISH STARLET here two back, he has all the options to issue a repeat challenge.

SO MUCH MORE (8) will strip fitter following his latest outing where he resumed from a spell with a passing lane 3rd. With another cosy trip, he can look to fill the minors once again.

DESPONDENT (3) darted across to lead in the Golden Guitar consolation at Tamworth last start and from there was never headed in smart time. He can look to get across here to feature.

SELECTIONS: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (5), IM FEELING FIREY (1), SO MUCH MORE (8), DESPONDENT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (5) to win

RACE THREE

This race is a 70Final following four rounds of heats and with the benefit of the good alley, KANYE CRUSADER (2) can look to take control. Beaten by the second line gate in a Golden Guitar heat last start, it followed a bi front running win from gate 6 after a sizzling opening panel. He can see it out.

SAVING MAJOR PERCY (1) eased to the poles from gate 5 in his heat and was strong to the line for 3rd behind KANYE CRUSADER. 5m astern of LYRICAL GENIUS last start, he lands the marble to settle much closer and can be ready to take his shot when the openings arrive.

IDEAL TIGER (10) was staring down a hat-trick last start when using the passing lane to hold 3rd behind BETTERTHAN POPSY. A big winner in the Marburg heat of this series, he can be chiming in.

REGULUS (6) has been in nice touch and will go in search of a hat-trick of victories here. Moving off the inside to get around them last start at Redcliffe in sharp time, the gate makes it tough here.

SELECTIONS: KANYE CRUSADER (2), SAVING MAJOR PERCY (1), IDEAL TIGER (10), REGULUS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: KANYE CRUSADER (2) to win

RACE FOUR

A tough winner here five starts back when sitting parked from gate 4, HITTHEROADJACK (2) has not had too much go his way since yet has still not been too far off them. With the chance to force some early pressure, if he happened to touch down on the poles, he would take some catching.

BITCOIN (3) has faced some tough gates in recent starts, the latest when drawn in 10 over the mile where BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS was able to dictate in sharp time. A head from the winner COURAGEOUS SAINT four runs back, he can get forward to throw down the challenge.

KEAYANG MARVEN (1) was making a strong raid over the closing stages last start after covering plenty of track when beaten an eyelash behind JUST DESSY. With the easy trip he can feature.

WARFARE (9) should appreciate this grade after tackling open company at his past two, the latest when 7m from TOMMY LINCOLN. With the right trail through early he can look for a placing.

SELECTIONS: HITTHEROADJACK (2), BITCOIN (3), KEAYANG MARVEN (1), WARFARE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HITTHEROADJACK (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Handing over last start after burrowing through from this same gate at the 2138m trip, YOUNG CONQUEROR (1) comes up with the options here and might be better suited looking to dictate. Chasing for 4th last start behind THREE RIVERS, he has the options to end a win drought.

THE GENERAL (8) started from this gate last start and was soon shuffled four back along the inside and with it his chances expired. Grabbing a midfield return, he can look to hustle for the leaders back here and with the easy trip, stalk the speed ready to challenge.

SUNNY COVE (9) was trying to wind up last start when finishing 10m astern of subsequent winner MIGHT AS WELL. The pegs could be the place to be here, and he has podium claims off a cheap ride.

SAILALONG SINBAD (3) had no luck last start when hemmed away which followed a wide trip at Marburg. Settling handy to the action can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: YOUNG CONQUEROR (1), THE GENERAL (8), SUNNY COVE (9), SAILALONG SINBAD (3)
SUGGESTED BET: YOUNG CONQUEROR (1) to win

RACE SIX

Returning from a spell last start and sent out deep into the red, TEDDY DISCO (2) had no luck at all from the inside second line gate. Snookered and never getting a crack at them, he was 7m away in going to the line untested. Back to the front line, it looks a case of times and margins.

MISTY CREEK (1) won’t know himself down in gate 1 after starting no closer than gate 4 in his past 21 outings. Forced to sit parked and grind it out when 8m from SWEDISH STARLET last start, he can tuck in behind the speed and look to mount some form of closing challenge.

DAZZLE ME (4) was hitting the line in smart fashion last start after retreating in the early stages in the small field. Grabbing the silver, he can be looking to grab a podium spot here.

CLASSIE WASHINGTON (5) resumes from a spell after his last appearance back in September where he was looming ominously, only to strike trouble. In super form prior, he can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: TEDDY DISCO (2), MISTY CREEK (1), DAZZLE ME (4), CLASSIE WASHINGTON (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  TEDDY DISCO /  MISTY CREEK (1/2) quinellas/exactas

RACE SEVEN

The early speed battle looks keen in and despite a potentially tricky gate, a return to her own sex can be the catalyst for LUCKY NUTTER (5) to bounce back to winning form. Runner-up to SARAH ANNE at her last mare’s only appearance, she has struck some handy ones from tough gates since.

CALA JANE (7) made the most of her chances last start when darting across from gate 4 to secure the trail and then make the closing shot a winning one up the passing lane. 5m from ROCK BOTTOM two starts back, the gate stings the hopes but positioning cheaply will aid her chances.

MIGHT AS WELL (9) is only lightly raced but has been super in three Qld starts where she has been beaten a lip first up from a spell behind subsequent winner THREE RIVERS and has since won both starts, the latest up the passing lane on protest. Tempo will help her challenging chances here.

TINGE OF FEAR (2) has started the season in style and lines up here with two wins in her past three. Darting through on the passing lane last start, she can be handy enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: LUCKY NUTTER (5), CALA JANE (7), MIGHT AS WELL (9), TINGE OF FEAR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LUCKY NUTTER (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

This looks a tricky mare’s qualifier with several chances across the field. A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (6) has a wide gate to contend with but might just be able to slide into a position here and can cope with a workload. Runner-up to the in-form TINGE OF FEAR three back, this is within reach.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (8) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as she looks in danger of being snookered. Pressing to the front last start before being gunned down in the closing strides, she will be searching for open road to issue the challenge.

ASHLEE NITRO (10) does not have the most inspiring figures here on the big deck but is effective off speed and can be searching for a cart into the contest where she has podium claims.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (2) should enjoy tackling a mare’s only race after some handy efforts in recent starts. Midfield behind the smart BOLD MEDLEY JUJON here on Tuesday, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (6), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (8), ASHLEE NITRO (10), SHEZ ALL STYLE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

Overcoming gate 5 to score here last start when sent to dictate, STORMTIDE (3) comes up with the right alley to again look for an all the way performance. Game in defeat out in front two starts back after paying a 27.2 opening panel to light the lamps, he looks up to the task.

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (8) made the most of gate 2 to take them all the way in the Redcliffe Guineas two starts back in strong time for the 2280m trip. Forced to work hard first over last start, he will be hemmed away here and searching for open space to issue the challenge.

THERESACHANCE (6) is on the back-up from Tuesday where he made a closing raid from the 1x1 trail to get within a head of the winner. The wide gate hurts but his early hustle aids the chances.

B MAC C (9) eased from gate 4 last start to find the poles and then did not really get warm over the closing stages. Never too far away, a strong tempo will be needed for him to chime in.

SELECTIONS: STORMTIDE (3), WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (8), THERESACHANCE (6), B MAC C (9)
SUGGESTED BET: STORMTIDE (3) to win

RACE TEN

With a pair of wins either side of a last where she ended her own chances with an error, SUGARINSPICE (5) can look to chase her 10th win on this track. Making the closing shot a winner under mobile conditions last start, the start is important, but she can capitalise.

MAJESTIC SIMON (7) has the 30m tape to overcome but he has worked his way back into some nice form, finishing in the top-two at his past three in succession. Trying to repel the raiders last start, it was SUGARINSPICE that got the better of him and he will be trying to turn the tables.

SCRUFFY DOOLAN (1) is moving closer to claiming his first win since arriving in Qld after his latest effort when a neck from the winner after working hard in the run. The front tape is a big plus.

LEESA CASTLETON (3) moves back 10m from her victory off the front tape here last week as she stares down a threepeat of victories. With a nice turn of speed, she can feature if close enough.

SELECTIONS: SUGARINSPICE (5), MAJESTIC SIMON (7), SCRUFFY DOOLAN (1), LEESA CASTLETON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SUGARINSPICE (5) to win
