RACE ONE

MISTIQUE (6) has been to the track four times since resuming from a spell and been in the money on each occasion. Making an error last start before being sent to the chair on the retake, he was game in holding a 3m deficit behind WATCHING RICKY. Despite some questionable manners, he can arrive.

DIPPED IN SILVER (3) resumes from a spell after placing in 3 of his 8 outings during the 2YO term. Blowing out the cobwebs with a preparatory trial on this deck, he finds the gate to get handy to throw down a challenge.

COLD STAR SCOOTER (4) was on debut back in early December when finishing at the rear of the field behind THREE PARTS GREY. Second up for this contest fresh, he finds the right contest to feature.

OUR LITTLE SKIPPER (1) showed early hustle before taking cover last start and then finishing at the rear of the field. That was against tougher opposition with the return to maiden company appealing.

RACE TWO

ROYAL WINKLE (8) was runner-up last start when sent forward from the wide gate to do it the tough way outside the leader. In for the fight when finishing under 2m from the winner ASHLEE NITRO, a return to one win company after meeting some more experienced rivals of late is a huge help.

MULLUM DOC (6) has the outside gate to contend with, as he did last start when eased early and then chasing home to finish just behind the placings as MADRIGAL took the prize. 3rd here two starts back, he can be defy the gate to issue a challenge.

STAR OF THE ARTS (4) had close to two years off he scene when resuming in September for a three start campaign. Breaking the maiden status in the third of those, she returns from a spell here.

ANSONS BAY (1) returns from a spell after a one start campaign last April when making an error and coming home distanced. A winner when leading two back, he has the gate to feature fresh.

RACE THREE

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (5)
was locked away against the markers last start over the AP mile when making a late rally to be just 2m in arrears of the winner. A similar scenario was in front of him three back when grabbing 3rd to the in-form BATMAN BART. Despite the wide gate, he is up to the task.

SHOWEM SIMON (1) showed some early hustle to work to the front and a sapping 28.1 opening panel before releasing told the tale as he faded over the closing stages. He secures a much-improved gate and with all the options lands his chance to challenge.

BELLA GODIVA (4) did some early work before receiving running line cover but fade over the AP mile last start. Only 5m away the start prior, she can be handy enough to feature in this.

ROCCO VARIETY (8) was trying to work home wider on the track last start when finishing just behind the money as WILD ABOUT TOWN saluted. With eh right trip he can be grabbing a minor.

RACE FOUR

WHATABOYJACK (7)
only has the 4 appearances on this deck which have returned a win and a 2nd placing. Forced to retreat last start and then unable to warm up in the closing stages, he was luckless two back from gate 7 over the mile when closing hard. With second line options, he can arrive.

CHAINLINC (5) fired off the arm and was looking to take them all the way over the AP mile last start when gunned down in the closing stages as SWEDISH STARLET took the prize. A winner from back in the pack here three back, the small field aids his chances of challenging.

JUDGE JUJON (1) has a good record on this deck and comes up with the right gate. A winner from back in the pack when sweeping home here three back, he can be coiled and ready to feature.

THE IRISH EAGLE (4) forced the issue here two starts back and from the front was able to see it out with 4m to spare. Luckless at headquarters last start, he can bounce back here.

RACE FIVE

TULHURST CUDDLES (5)
faces a potentially sticky gate out in 5 but she has been a model of consistency, hitting the board in 12 of her 17 here on The Triangle. Trying to make closing metres from outside the second line last start at The Creek, she can power home to the prize.

HANDSOME HARRY (4) was locked away on the poles over the AP mile two starts back and was able to make some closing ground to grab the bronze. Midfield last start, he finds the right set up here to get handy and make a play.

DARBY BRIGHTS (8) faded last start after being asked to hang tough outside the leader and trailed the field home. IN the money her previous four in succession, an easier run here should suit.

TALEGGIO (6) was taken back from this alley last start and was strong to the line when under 3m from the winner. Earning the ODM embargo two starts back, he can be chiming in here.

TEACHERS PET (9)
faces the extreme gate but finds the right conditions to add another win to her smart record. Pressing on to take control last start from gate 3, she was able to pull clear for a dominant 15m margin. A fourteen-time winner on this deck, she can add another to the tally.

MY GIRL MANDY (1) sat behind the leader last start and then making full use of the passing lane, darted through to take the prize. Grabbing the bronze the start prior, she steps up against more experienced rivals here, but has the offset of the good alley to challenge.

BEYONSKI (5) will strip fitter from a smart return last start when overcoming gate 5 to swoop home to a narrow victory. Starting from the same gate here, she can be joining in.

JET FORCE (6) has no favours on the outside paint but should appreciate a return to his grade after meeting strong opposition in recent starts. With the right trip he can feature.

RACE SEVEN

WHATA TERROR (6)
is knocking on the door and might just have the secret knock required for victory in this contest. Working home wide off the track last start for 2nd behind the dictating JAZIAH, he was just 3m in arrears of VANITY BAY two starts back. If he can overcome the poor numbers at the trip, he can arrive.

SCENE OF TERROR (8) makes her first race appearance on the track she is trained off, having been contesting Saturday night mare’s events in recent starts. Struggling to land a marble since arriving in Qld, she once again has the second line to contend with, yet in this grade she is up to the task.

VERMONT (2) is chasing down a hat-trick of wins after successive wins at the 1780m trip. The major obstacle to the threepeat looks to be herself, winless in 10 attempts at the middle trip she steps up to here.

VOODOO FELLA (9) was sent to sit parked last time out from gate 3 and after a tough trip was still giving when 7m from the winner MALINJANG. A Marburg winner three back, he can make a play.

RACE EIGHT

ASHLEE NITRO (5) started from inside the second line last start but was soon off the pegs and around to a handy position before owning superior closing speed to take a 2m victory. Never too far from the action, she can find the right position to claim back-to-back victories.

QUICK STEP (3) slid across to find the 1x1 trail last start over the AP mile and then was issuing the challenge in the stretch to get within an eyelash of the winner STOKER ACE. Working hard in the run in a mare’s qualifier two starts back, she can be close enough to throw it down.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (7) was a winner here three starts back when pressing on to the front and able to see it out on the front end. 3rd to the dictating BONZA GUY last start, he will be probing.

MON BEL ANGE (1) is still chasing her first win since arriving in Qld and has yet to finish in the money in four attempts on this track. With the benefit of the ace gate, she is a podium hope here.
