NB: There will be no speed maps available between January 16-21

RACE ONE

NR 40 to 43:

The picket fence is building nicely for veteran pacer HEAR THE CALL (9) with three straight wins at Redcliffe. Tonight, he must overcome the outside back row draw to prevail once again.

AFTER DARN (7) will relish a peg line trip in transit, with any luck in running she can go very close to taking the prize.

OUR RUBY ROSE (1) has early speed and most likely takes up the running here over the short trip. She will be clinging on in the stretch.

JET FORCE (8) may drop to 3 pegs to take the shortest way home, he ran on well at his last start behind Shakatie.

SELECTIONS: HEAR THE CALL (9), AFTER DARN (7), OUR RUBY ROSE (1), JET FORCE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: QUINELLA 1, 7 & 9

RACE TWO

NR 53 to 60 1780m:

Solid contest with multiple winning chances.

CHAINLINC (6) was a last start winner in 1.56.0 at this track and trip coming from near last at the bell, he will have to repeat the dose to claim back-to-back victories.

ARTISTIC SAINT (8) is racing in fine form, just missing out last week by a neck when leading up the 3 wide line over the middle trip in solid time.

SO AM I (5) maps awkwardly again from another poor barrier, he may be forced to go back and come with one run tonight.

THE IRISH EAGLE (4) from this exact draw pressed forward to lead last week. Breaking 30 for every quarter he weakened in the stretch, but it was a solid performance all the same.

SELECTIONS: CHAINLINC (6), ARTISTIC SAINT (8), SO AM I (5), THE IRISH EAGLE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAINLINC to win

RACE THREE

NR 49 to 52 1780m:

VOODOO FELLA (4) was an impressive last start winner, pressing through from the second line to take up the running over the 2040m trip - rating 1.58.6. He can push forward once again and look for the top.

ILLBEWATCHING (1) will greatly appreciate the improve barrier, he can stalk from leaders back in the run and finish on the podium.

FAVREAU (7) is racing well for in form trainer-driver Jonah Hutchinson, he looks well poised once again.

ALMIGHTY MAX (5) has great career stats at this track and trip, he may have to some early heavy lifting to get into the contest.

SELECTIONS: VOODOO FELLA (4), ILLBEWATCHING (1), FAVREAU (7), ALMIGHTY MAX (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  VOODOO FELLA to win

RACE FOUR

NR 44 to 48 2040m:

The form lines of MON BEL ANGE (1) have been slowly improving since shifting to QLD, she is nearing a victory. From the plum gate she has options to hold or trail.

SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM (7) relishes Redcliffe, another mare racing well and has solid stats at the trip. A win would not surprise with luck in transit.

BORDERLINE (3) has won at 2 of her last 3 starts, she maps a tad awkwardly tonight but can figure in the numbers again.

MAJOR TRALEE (2) is doing good things at the present, finishing top 2 at his last 6 starts. The only query here is the 0/12 record at the distance.

SELECTIONS: MON BEL ANGE (1), SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM (7), BORDERLINE (3) MAJOR TRALEE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  MON BEL ANGE to win

RACE FIVE

NR 30 to 40 1780m:

MATAI REACTOR (8) chased hard behind FEEL THE THRILL last week when running second, the run was full of merit after being close to 10 lengths off the leaders. Tonight, with the chance to sit closer in the run he can go one better.

TULHURST CUDDLES (6) was back in the winners stall last week with a last stride victory. She is in the mix again despite the tough gate.

SUBTLE ADVICE (4) was shuffled back last and his spot in transit, despite this fact he worked to the line nicely.

FURIOSA (2) has early speed and may jump on the bunny and give rivals something to catch.

She is looking for career victory number two.

SELECTIONS: MATAI REACTOR (8), TULHURST CUDDLES (6), SUBTLE ADVICE (4), FURIOSA (2)
SUGGESTED BET:  MATAI REACTOR to win

RACE SIX

1 WIN Pace 1780m:

REDS STAR DEAL (9) was gallant in defeat behind BLUE BLOODZ last week after racing in the breeze through out. With any luck in transit this 3YO can chalk up victory number two.

KORLOFF NOIR (4) is three weeks between runs, last time out finishing runner up to BELLA BRONSKI in 1.58.0. Those form lines are good enough for this contest.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (2) has the speed to zip over and find the marker line, running a place is on the cards.

ASH AND JO (6) was good winning two starts and then things didn’t pan out in a slowly run race last week. She can bounce back with an improved showing.

SELECTIONS: REDS STAR DEAL (9), KORLOFF NOIR (4), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (2), ASH AND JO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Quinella 4 + 9

RACE SEVEN

Maiden 1780m:

SAINT JUJON (4) was a strong breeze performer at Albion Park last start, running third behind TIN AMBER MINE. You feel only poor manners will prevent her from breaking the maiden status.

MYSTICAL CHARM (2) will push out hard looking for the front, she is trying to break the maiden status at career start number 24.

BAHAMAS MISS (7) will be hoping for gaps up the lane, she maps 3 fence in transit.

FEEL YOUR WAY (1) will be close enough in the run to finish on the podium again.

SELECTIONS: SAINT JUJON (4), MYSTICAL CHARM (2), BAHAMAS MISS (7), FEEL YOUR WAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SAINT JUJON to win

RACE EIGHT

NR 30 to 40 1780m:

The best version of WHATA REACTOR (3) will be very hard to catch, she draws to take up the running and give a bold sight.

TRIOLI (9) looks suited here with Angus Garrard taking the drive tonight, she will be around the mark.

FEELING THE POWER (5) is a six time winner on the track he can press his claims.

IM ISABELLA (8) can run on late into the placings without surprising.

SELECTIONS:  WHATA REACTOR (3), TRIOLI (9), FEELING THE POWER (5), IM ISABELLA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR to win

RACE NINE

1 WIN Pace 1780m:

DONT FEAR FOR ME (4) is a 3YO pacer that is an improving type, last start he was working home nicely in a 28.1 last quarter. Suspect he may have to breeze in this contest.

SABOTAGE (3) is having her second start for the Jack Butler camp, expect her to try and lead all the way here.

LOOKAT MEE (8) comes back to Redcliffe after two Albion Park performances, she looks well graded despite the back row draw.

MULLUM DOC (6) is a get back run on type who maybe stuck permanently on the ODM mark which makes life tough.

SELECTIONS:  DONT FEAR FOR ME (4), SABOTAGE (3), LOOKAT MEE (8), MULLUM DOC (6)
SUGGESTED BET:  DONT FEAR FOR ME Each way 1 x 4
