RACE ONE

Maiden 1780m:

SURFER JOE (4) hit the line from a three fence run in transit behind DIPPED IN SILVER last week, they rated 1.59.7. If able to sit handy to speed today, he can break the maiden status.

MYSTIQUE (6) has been brave in every start this prep, he may be forced breeze in transit once again.

HOLME BOY (1) for Grant Dixon draws well and looks the likely leader so may fill a place.

HEAVENS BABY (7) may get a cheap leaders back run in transit, so she can beat most home.

SELECTIONS:  SURFER JOE (4), MYSTIQUE (6), HOLME BOY (1), HEAVENS BABY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SURFER JOE to win

RACE TWO

1 Win Pace 1780m:

Great contest.

RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6) is a 4YO mare with a big motor having her third career start. She has plenty of ability but on the flip side her manners are still developing. Looking forward to the day she puts it all together off a hot tempo.

LUCKY JIM (4) ran second to Madrigal last start after sitting leaders back, they sprinted a sharp last half of 57.7. He looks the leader and very hard to beat.

STAR OF THE ARTS (8) looks another who can go close with the right run-in transit.

JAKKI MUN (3) is the second Darren Weeks runner in the race, a 3YO gelding who has his fair share of ability. Yet to show any gate, he may roll forward today to sit closer today from gate 3.

SELECTIONS:  RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6), LUCKY JIM (4), STAR OF THE ARTS (8), JAKKI MUN (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  RHONDA BLUE CHIP to win

RACE THREE

NR 30 to 40 1780m:

NON PASSARE (4) gets the services of Pete McMullen, with good gate speed he may slide straight to the top and run a race. The downside is his last victory came in December 2021.

GO JO JOLT (9) will run another honest race, the outside backrow draw hurts her winning chances.

DALLAS COWGIRL (5) has finished top three at 5 of her last 7 starts, consistency will take her long way in this race.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) can finish top 4 easily with the right luck in transit.

SELECTIONS:  NON PASSARE (4), GO JO JOLT (9), DALLAS COWGIRL (5), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: NON PASSARE to win

RACE FOUR

NR 46 to 50 1780m:

Taking a leap of faith here and hoping YARRAMAN ROCKY (5) can find the top and run a big race at a decent each way price. He looks to be dropping in grade compared to recent starts and with a front row devoid of natural leaders happy to take the punt.

WHATA TERROR (7) is an honest type, with any sort of luck in transit he will take holding out.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1) gets a great draw to show his best, hard to see him missing top four.

FRANCO NATHAN (8) is an enigmatic type, if the best version shows up he probably just wins but there have been too many average performances to consider as a betting proposition.

SELECTIONS:  YARRAMAN ROCKY (5), WHATA TERROR (7), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (1), FRANCO NATHAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: YARRAMAN ROCKY Each way 1 x 4

RACE FIVE

NR 30 to 40 1780m:

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5) returns to Redcliffe after two starts Tamworth campaign. Pete McMullen jumps aboard today; this race looks within his grasp.

CHAMPAGNE DREAMS (3) has been racing consistently of late, last week getting stuck in the breeze and fading out. If able to find the pegs her winning chances increase enormously.

TALEGGIO (4) is very close to breaking through, he just needs some mid race tempo to be able to show his best as he lacks early speed.

DARBY BRIGHTS (1) will benefit from the good gate, she ran a brave race last week after burning early.

SELECTIONS:  DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5), CHAMPAGNE DREAMS (3), TALEGGIO (4), DARBY BRIGHTS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN LUCCA to win

RACE SIX

NR Up to 70 Heat:

SWEDISH STARLET (6) is airborne, winning six of her last eight starts. Despite the tough draw she is the one to beat again.

REGULUS (7) won his last start at Albion Park in this grade, when the gaps appeared he sprinted sharply to claim the prizes. Looks a clear danger to Swedish Starlet.

WOODLEA DEIGO (4) is one of two Mark Rees runners, he is in fine form but will need some luck in transit from the barrier.

B MAC C (5) is likely to drift back at the start, he will be hoping for a hot tempo to be able to figure in the finish.

SELECTIONS:  SWEDISH STARLET (6), REGULUS (7), WOODLEA DEIGO (4), B MAC C (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEDISH STARLET to win

RACE SEVEN

NR 40 to 45 2040m:

SLINGIN A GUN (9) is dropping in grade today. Well supported at his last two starts, with even luck he can finally breakthrough for a deserved victory.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (2) relishes the middle trip winning seven of 30 attempts, finishing runner up at his last three starts a win is just around the corner.

PAGO PAGO (4) loves the Redcliffe track with a career record of 37: 7 | 4 | 7, he resumes after a freshen up.

DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (3) comes aback to Redcliffe after competing in Mares grade at Albion Park, she is not without claims.

SELECTIONS:  SLINGIN A GUN (9), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (2), PAGO PAGO (4), DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SLINGIN A GUN to win

RACE EIGHT

NR 51 to 55 1780m:

WHATABOYJACK (6) sat parked last week and was brave in defeat behind CHAINLINC in quick time. With a solid tempo he can be sweeping home and find himself in the finish.

RAANI (2) has finally drawn a decent barrier; she looks the likely leader over a trip she excels at, hard to beat if left alone.

KING OF TRUMPS (5) is another who will be settling rearward buy can finish off with the right tempo.

BONNIES CAM (4) may be left to breeze in transit, Paige Bevan is taking the drive today.

SELECTIONS:  WHATABOYJACK (6), RAANI (2), KING OF TRUMPS (5), BONNIES CAM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATABOYJACK to win

RACE NINE

NR 46 to 50 1780m:

ASHLEE NITRO (6) is somewhat of a Redcliffe track specialist winning 18 times, despite the bad gate she has the ability to prevail once again.

PRESS STATEMENT (7) draws sticky but with luck in running he can go close.

KISSESFORYAMISSES (8) has won two of four career starts at Redcliffe, resuming off big spell she is one to keep safe.

PURPLE SHADES (3) will run its usual honest race and won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS:  ASHLEE NITRO (6), PRESS STATEMENT (7), KISSESFORYAMISSES (8), PURPLE SHADES (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  ASHLEE NITRO to win

RACE NINE

NR 40 TO 45 1780m:

MAJOR SLIP UP (7) was a last start winner leading all the way at Marburg. He looks well poised to repeat the dose.

FOR NO REASON (1) draws well, but she will have to be dug up at the start to hold her position. Adam Richardson again takes the reins.

FORGIVE ME (8) can the short cuts in the run and figure in the finish, Pete McMullen takes the reins.

ARTFUL JACK (5) in a newcomer for Jonah Hutchinson, things have not panned out so far in two QLD runs. He may find some better luck here.

SELECTIONS:  MAJOR SLIP UP (7), FOR NO REASON (1), FORGIVE ME (8), ARTFUL JACK (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  MAJOR SLIP UP to win
