RACE ONE

MISTIQUE (6) is building towards the account opener but his manners are holding him back with the continued ODM embargo. Placed in 7 of 10 career attempts and 6 in succession since resuming from a spell, he can get forward and look to make today the day.

SURFER JOE (3) was locked away here two starts back when making some late metres for the bronze behind DIPPED IN SILVER. Midfield to HOLME BOY last start, he will be fitter again after three runs back from a two year absence and can issue a challenge.

HEAVENS BABY (2) has grabbed 3rd at her past two starts, the latest up the passing lane from the pocket trail. She can be handy enough to chase another minor.

ONE CHAIN ROAD (1) is a 3YO Cammibest colt on debut for Ben Battle that did everything right in a qualifying trial. The gate aids his first up hopes.

SELECTIONS: MISTIQUE (6), SURFER JOE (3), HEAVENS BABY (2), ONE CHAIN ROAD (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTIQUE (6) to win

RACE TWO

RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6) got it all wrong on debut and had her chances expire when looming ominously into the contest. With another error second up, she was able to overcome it and still claim victory. Taken back to the rear last start, she is up to the task here.

KERRIE BE (9) opened her account here two starts back when forcing the issue from gate 3, working forward to take control. Snagged back last start and working home nicely wide out, she can feature.

FRAYA (5) made an error last start from the second line that ended her chances over the AP mile behind GIRL FROM ROSEDALE. Runner-up her previous two, her effort three back was gritty after sitting parked outside THE TAX CULLECTOR. This is a class drop from recent starts.

VILLAGE SMIRKER (4) was a debut winner five runs back when sent to the front from gate 4 and able to roll all the way to a 10m margin. Second line gates have hurt at his past three.

SELECTIONS: RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6), FRAYA (5), KERRIE BE (9), VILLAGE SMIRKER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6) to win

RACE THREE

OUR DOLLY (5)
went on with it three starts back and was able to dictate in front to an all the way victory. The form out of that race has held with five of the next six over the line all winning since. Kept fresh since her last performance, she looms large.

LAZY BLAZE (3) started from the back row last start and was trying to warm up in the closing stages when chasing behind DATSINAHURRI. A wide gate was his undoing two starts back and with an improved gate, he secures his chance to throw down the challenge.

GEORGEZILLA (1) finds his third trainer in his past three starts, joining the Dale Belford barn. An error ended his chances last start and from the gate he might be an improver in this company.

FURIOSA (8) darted across and tried to lead throughout last start but was unable to see it out as MATAI REACTOR arrived. With even luck she has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: OUR DOLLY (5), LAZY BLAZE (3), GEORGEZILLA (1), FURIOSA (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

BLACKJACK BETH (3)
steps out for her first 3YO appearance after fading last start behind the smart looking MADRIGAL. That followed a down the line performance behind a similarly smart one in BORELLA. Fresh since her last effort, she gets the chance to turn her fortunes around.

JAKKI MUN (6) is yet to miss the money in four career starts, placing in all three since his debut victory. Asked to graft it out first over last start, he was game in defeat and despite the tough gate can again be issuing the challenge.

CORVETTE JOE (7) was impressive in claiming a first up win after over two years off the scene. The second line stung in both subsequent runs, but he should find this more to his liking.

DIPPED IN SILVER (4) broke through for his first victory two starts back when working home strongly to claim victory. Making a costly error last start, he can bounce back with a podium return.

SELECTIONS: BLACKJACK BETH (3), JAKKI MUN (6), CORVETTE JOE (7), DIPPED IN SILVER (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

HESLUVABLE (9)
eased off the arm from gate 6 last start and from deep in the pack was hitting the line in smart fashion to be just a half-neck from the winner. Not suited at Marburg two starts back, he has no favours from the gate but it looks a limited front line.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (8) started from inside the second line last start and was soon shuffled back in the run and needing plenty of luck that did not really arrive. Unable to see it out from the front two back over the AP mile, she can be tracking into the contest to challenge.

SHOWEM SIMON (4) was looking to take them all the way last start but was unable to see it out. He finds an easier front line this time and can press ahead to stake his claim.

DESTINY BLUES (7) should enjoy the economical trip here and if finding the passing lane with some momentum can be filling a minor.

SELECTIONS: HESLUVABLE (9), TORQUE TO THE MAX (8), SHOWEM SIMON (4), DESTINY BLUES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HESLUVABLE (9) to win

RACE SIX

JAMAICAN RESORT (3)
does his best work when able to find a spot up on the engine and he lands the gate here to capitalise. Not suited when forced to retreat last time, he was buried two back from inside the second line. This looks his chance to pounce in front and see it out.

EASTBRO TEX (6) was struggling to see one out and was gunned down in three successive starts. Able to dispel the curse and claim successive wins out in front, he was again reeled in last start after starting in red figures from gate 2. The wide alley does him no favours here.

JAYDES TERROR (7) eased into the running line from the inside second line last start and was trying to make a closing raid when 4th to TULHURST CUDDLES. She will be probing for the openings.

NON PASSARE (9) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when sent to the post the punters elect from gate 4. Leading everywhere bar when it counted, the gate dents his chances here.

SELECTIONS: JAMAICAN RESORT (3), EASTBRO TEX (6), JAYDES TERROR (7), NON PASSARE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JAMAICAN RESORT (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

TRIOLI (2)
was able to overcome gate 9 last start when descending on them in the latter stages and then pulling clear to take a 10m margin. 4m in arrears of the winner over the AP mile four starts back when looking to dictate, she has the gate to capitalise here.

GALVARINO (4) darted across from a wide gate at Tamworth last start and tried to see it out when 8m from the winner, holding 3rd. Leading and then releasing here three starts back when runner-up to the handy THE TAX CULLECTOR, he can issue the challenge.

ROCCO VARIETY (7) was staring down a hat-trick of victories last start when fading over the 2040m trip as MAJOR SLIP UP pulled clear to score. He will be searching for the openings.

TEACHERS PET (8) had no luck from the outside second line here last start when unable to secure position. Taking them all the way two starts back, with the right early trail she can feature.

SELECTIONS: TRIOLI (2), GALVARINO (4), ROCCO VARIETY (7), TEACHERS PET (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

FORGIVE ME (1)
was sent forward through the middle stages last start and getting up outside the leader tried to throw it down, ultimately holding on for 2nd as MAJOR SLIP UP sailed past to a 4m victory. 3rd to VOODOO FELLA two back, she can be scratch early, but burrowing through can cash in.

VERMONT (9) was after a threepeat of victories here two starts back when forced to settle for an 11m 2nd to VOODOO FELLA. Grabbing 3rd last start to FRANCO NATHAN when under 2m away, she will be tracking home strongly.

MISTER ARTIKULATE (7) will be sweating on the 1 having the hustle to hold them out and if that scenario eventuates, his stocks rise exponentially. Wide gates have stung his past three and he can be probing here.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (2) was asked to sit parked here two starts back from this gate and could not go on with it when midfield as JAZIAH led throughout. He can be thereabouts again here.

SELECTIONS:  FORGIVE ME (1), VERMONT (9), MISTER ARTIKULATE (7), THE CASUAL GOOSE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-9

RACE NINE

WHATA TERROR (1)
started from inside the second line last start and was soon shuffled to three back and when sighting the gap tried to pick up, ultimately finishing just out of the money as FRANCO NATHAN scored. With mapping options, he looks to get his shot here.

RAANI (6) did not have much in her favour last start in a much tougher mare’s event at HQ when down the line behind TINGE OF FEAR. Trying to fight them off here two starts back from the front, the gate is not ideal but she can evaluate the early speed to position for a challenge.

BELLA BRONSKI (5) has developed a smart record here on The Triangle in recent times and put together successive wins at her past two appearances here. The wide gate makes the task tougher.

MAGICOL IDEAL (2) was a Marburg winner five runs back when holding the front and taking them all the way. Not much has gone right since that win and from this gate, he can get forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: WHATA TERROR (1), RAANI (6), BELLA BRONSKI (5), MAGICOL IDEAL (2)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA TERROR (1) to win
