RACE ONE

ROSES ARE SWEET (1) returns from a freshen after her last appearance when striking some trouble from inside the second line when still only 3m form the winner CHAINLINC. With a tidy record on this deck, she has all the options to capitalise.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (2) is a good beginner when allowed to slide and from this gate might just find himself lighting the lamps. Snagged back from gate 7 last start over the AP mile, he was rattling home to be just a head from the winner. This is well within reach.

CANT BLUFF YOU (9) found the 1x1 trail from the second line last start but could not reel them in as THE IRISH EAGLE dictated. With the right trip he can chime in.

HES SWEET (8) returns for another Qld campaign and will be first up since November. A winner here four starts back when tough outside the leader, he can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: ROSES ARE SWEET (1), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (2), CANT BLUFF YOU (9), HES SWEET (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROSES ARE SWEET (1) to win

RACE TWO

MASTER CHARLES (1) has good early hustle and lands the marble to burrow through early to keep them wide. Looking for shortcuts last start after starting from outside the second line over the 1780 and darting through for 2nd to WHATA TERROR, he holds all the options here to cash in.

MON BEL ANGE (3) claimed her first Qld victory last start when eased to the running line from gate 4 and then owning the required closing speed to descend on them and claim victory by a head. Placed in both prior starts, she can be handy enough to throw it down again.

FAVREAU (7) was asked to hang tough over this trip last start and despite the toll was able to graft it out to be under 2m from the winner. He will be searching for gaps off the cosy trip here.

COURAGEOUS SAM (9) sat in the trail last start from inside the second line and was taking a closing dive when finishing a half-head from the winner ALLMIGHTY MAX. He can be making a late raid.

SELECTIONS: MASTER CHARLES (1), MON BEL ANGE (3), FAVREAU (7), COURAGEOUS SAM (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MASTER CHARLES (1) to win

RACE THREE

MAJOR TRALEE (9)
has been in consistent form in recent weeks, hitting the board at his past eight in succession. Sent forward to lead from gate 5 last start, he was collared in the closing stages to hold 3rd but still just a neck from the winner. There looks some front-line speed and pressure which helps.

AFTER DARN (1) took full advantage of the soft trip behind the speed here last week and when angled to the passing lane was able to drive through to claim a neck margin. With the early speed to dictate her own position, she can be in the position to issue a challenge.

YOGI (3) tackled the AP mile last start when grabbing the silver behind GIRL FROM ROSEDALE after finding the trail. 2m away when 3rd here two back, he can get forward to feature in this.

ROLLED IN GOLD (6) put together successive wins on this deck before charging home to be a neck from the winner when chasing the hat-trick. 5m away last start, a strong tempo will help her hopes.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR TRALEE (9), AFTER DARN (1), YOGI (3), ROLLED IN GOLD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR TRALEE (9) to win

RACE FOUR

The early pace battle looks intriguing in this 70Heat and should generate early heat. DESPONDENT (4) has been in top form in recent starts and chases down the hat-trick after a Tamworth victory was followed with a Saturday night win last time out. He can claim the threepeat.

TEAGAN BANNER (5) returns from a spell after his last appearance came at this venue back in October. Pressing forward to lead from gate 6 in that contest, he was 5m from the winner SURF ACE. There looks some good early speed in this contest, and he can be challenging in the closing stages.

ROCKNROLL TIMES (2) returns to Qld to a track where he has one placing in four attempts. Runner-up last start at Wagga, it followed a 3rd to the handy SPLASH OF CRIMSON, and he can chime in here.

BETTERTHAN POPSY (3) claimed a second division qualifier two starts back when forcing the issue from gate 6 to take control. Chasing TEDDY DISCO last start, he is a podium player in this.

SELECTIONS: DESPONDENT (4), TEAGAN BANNER (5), ROCKNROLL TIMES (2), BETTERTHAN POPSY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DESPONDENT (4) to win

RACE FIVE

GALVARINO (3)
has good hustle off the arm and was in front from gate 4 here last start when looking to take them all the way. Fading over the latter stages to hold on for the bronze, he can fire out again here and look to take them all the way.

HOLME BOY (1) was able to hold the front without too much pressure here last week and led them deep into the stretch, only collared late up the passing lane. Breaking the maiden status two starts back, he can stalk the speed here and be ready to strike.

ROCCO VARIETY (7) was chasing a threepeat here two starts back when midfield to MAJOR SLIP UP. With the easy trip against the poles on offer here, look for him trying to pinch a placing.

OFFICE BAD BOY (2) had the closing power to descend on them last start and claim a narrow victory after starting from outside the second line. This is his best gate in some time, and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: GALVARINO (3), HOLME BOY (1), ROCCO VARIETY (7), OFFICE BAD BOY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE SIX

LOOKAT MEE (1)
broke through to claim her first victory here five runs back when taking them all the way from gate 4. Grabbing the bronze at her next start behind the handy DELTA THREE at HQ, she should relish a return to one win company and from this gate looks to get her chance.

MULLUM BOY (5) started from outside the second line last start when a flat tyre hampered his challenge yet was still able to grab the bronze. Fitter following two runs back from 18 months off the scene, he finds he right race to issue the challenge.

OUTER CHANGE (7) grabbed the bronze two starts back behind MATAI REACTOR and then last start was best of the chasers behind the big winner FRAYA. A cosy trip aids her chances here.

CERTAINLYCALLITIN (6) had the benefit of gate 1 last week when holding on for the silver behind FEELIN FLIRTY after setting the speed. NO favours this week from 6, but he can still grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: LOOKAT MEE (1), MULLUM BOY (5), OUTER CHANGE (7), CERTAINLYCALLITIN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LOOKAT MEE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

He might be relying on some factors in his favour but if FEELING THE POWER (7) can find the space to shake free of the pocket with track to work with, it is a race that he is right up to winning. Working home to grab 2nd here two starts back, gate 6 stung him last start. This race is wide open.

PERFECT FEELING (9) was a Marburg winner three starts back when utilising his good speed out of the machine to take them all the way. Forced to work when sent around them from the second line here two starts back, he was only 4m astern last start and can issue the challenge in this line up.

JAYDES TERROR (3) started from inside the second line last start when buried in the run before finding the space to make a closing raid and grab the silver. She has podium claims again here.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (1) returns from a spell and has the gate benefits first up. Buried in the run last start when making some good metres for 3rd, he has the early speed to feature.

SELECTIONS: FEELING THE POWER (7), PERFECT FEELING (9), JAYDES TERROR (3), CARIBBEAN ROCKET (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELING THE POWER (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

MY GIRL MANDY (1)
was trying to make some closing metres last start when finishing within 3m of the winner AFTER DARN along the passing lane. Two starts back she did not receive a clear passage and with the early options from this alley, looks to strike the right set up to capitalise.

ATOMIC PETE (9) caught the eye at headquarters two starts back when charging home over the closing stages to be 5m from the winner IM BELIEBER. Franking that effort when descending on them here last week to claim the maiden breaker, he can be making a closing challenge again here.

PROSPECTUS (2) resumes from a spell to start her 3YO campaign following a 2YO term that netted a win from three attempts. With a sound trial in preparation, she is right in the fight from this alley.

BOKHARI (7) grabbed the bronze here last week behind FEELIN FLIRTY after finishing down the line behind the handy REDS STAR DEAL two back. A cosy trip can see her grab a minor.

SUGGESTED BET: MY GIRL MANDY (1) to win

RACE NINE

OUR RUBY ROSE (2)
eased down to the poles last start and was trying to rally in the stretch when grabbing the silver behind WHATA REACTOR to finish 2m in arrears. Striking trouble two starts back, she can look for the front and looks to have found suitable winning conditions.

HESLUVABLE (8) was back in the pack and making nice metres in the closing stages last start when 3rd behind FOR NO REASON. Just a half-neck from the winner here two starts back after starting from outside the front line, he can be issuing the closing challenge again here.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (9) started from gate 8 last week and was trying to make a closing raid when grabbing the silver behind FOR NO REASON. She can be working into the contest again here.

DATSINAHURRI (5) forced the issue from gate 4 here two starts back and from the front was able to see it out. At her best on the front end, if she can get to the front, her chances rise exponentially.

SUGGESTED BET: OUR RUBY ROSE (2) to win

RACE TEN

YARRAMAN NEEDY (1)
has had eight attempts at a breakthrough and might just have found his conditions this time around. With wide gates working against him, his latest effort came from gate 5 when retreating and then unable to get warm. He looks to get his chance here in an open affair.

SNACK TIME ROCKS (8) is knocking on the door after her five placings have all come at her past five starts. Forced to work in the run last week when holding on for the bronze behind IGNITE THE FIRE, she can trail through in the early stages and be ready to issue the closing challenge.

BAHAMAS MISS (2) was darting back along the passing lane last start, but broke gait and her chances of a podium finish expired. Settling handy, she can look to finish in the money here.

KISS THE AVIATOR (7) has had a caried career, with the 9YO chasing the maiden breaking win here after 74 previous attempts have failed to provide the moment of glory. A cosy trip here can help.

SELECTIONS: YARRAMAN NEEDY (1), SNACK TIME ROCKS (8), BAHAMAS MISS (2), KISS THE AVIATOR (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
