RACE ONE

MON BEL ANGE (2) was building towards a victory which had included a half-head defeat behind MAJOR TRALEE. Finding conditions to descend on them for the prize two starts back, the early tempo kept her chasing last start. Settling forward from this alley, she finds conditions to strike.

SLINGIN A GUN (5) was a winner here two starts back when eased to the running line form gate 3 and then owning the closing power to claim a neck margin. Runner-up to MOTU CULLEN last start, the gate dents the hopes but he finds the opposition to issue the challenge.

ARTFUL JACK (7) has placed at his past three in succession, the latest when darting up the passing lane to be within a head of the winner. He will be probing for the openings.

VERMONT (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last start when making some late metres for 3rd. Hitting the board in 4 of 5 this season, she has the gate to be in the money again.

SELECTIONS: MON BEL ANGE (2), SLINGIN A GUN (5), ARTFUL JACK (7, VERMONT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MON BEL ANGE (2) to win

RACE TWO

HEAR THE CALL (5) was looking to make it four on the bounce here three starts back when slammed with the outside second line gate. Sent to sit parked, the tough trip took a toll as he faded. Bouncing back with successive placings, he can slide across early to make career start 300 memorable.

GALVARINO (3) is a good gate speed horse and from this alley can look to dart across to take control. Trying to fight them off last start in front, he was collared in the closing strides to go under by a half-neck. 2m away the start prior when reeled in down the stretch, he will be gripping on.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) is chasing her first win of the season and should appreciate the improved gate. Runner-up two starts back from the pocket trail, she can again secure the economical trip.

BETTING BARON (8) has been racing in consistent fashion in recent weeks with 5 minors from his past 7 appearances. Runner-up to TEACHERS PET last start, he can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: HEAR THE CALL (5), GALVARINO (3), GETALOADATHISGIRL (1), BETTING BARON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAR THE CALL (5) to win

RACE THREE

COURAGEOUS SAM (1)
has been chasing a tight gate for some time and will relish the opportunity to burrow through on the pegs. No closer than gate 4 at his past 11 starts, he has still managed to be the runner-up at his past two, the latest behind MOSSDALE MAC. He looks to get every chance here.

FLO RYDA (6) is afforded no favours from the outside alley but given an easy time early can have the speed to issue a closing play. With his past four at HQ in tougher grade, a return to Redcliffe helps and the reduced field size means less horses to get around.

ARTISTIC SAINT (5) a wide gate dents his chances somewhat, but his recent form has been against much tougher opposition than he faces off against here. With even luck he can make a play.

FAVREAU (3) did his share of work last start and was still whacking away in the stretch when holding 3rd to MOSSDALE MAC. Under 2m from the winner two back, he can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS SAM (1), FLO RYDA (6), ARTISTIC SAINT (5), FAVREAU (3)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS SAM (1) to win

RACE FOUR

OFFICE BAD BOY (5)
was working towards a breakthrough after three successive placings and franked that assessment when powering home over the top from gate 9 here tow starts back. An error put him out of business last start, but he finds conditions to gain redemption.

CAMPBELL BEST (1) made a costly error last start that ended his chances, making it two in succession where his hopes were dashed in the run. Runner-up at Tamworth in successive starts prior, from this gate he can use his early hustle to make his own luck.

BADLUCKBAZ (3) has finished 3rd at his past two starts, the latest from the 1x1 trail when 3m from the winner TORQUE WRITER. He can be chiming in again here.

WEASEL (2) has been beaten by wide gates at his past two starts and will appreciate getting back in tight here. He can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: OFFICE BAD BOY (5), CAMPBELL BEST (1), BADLUCKBAZ (3), WEASEL (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OFFICE BAD BOY (5) to win

RACE FIVE

AURORA FIG (5)
sat behind the leader from gate 7 last start and when the race developed into a turn and burn, fought gamely for the silver in a 27.4 closing panel. Runner-up the starts prior up the passing lane, the gate stings but she is ready to cash in for her first Qld victory.

PROSPECTUS (9) will take good benefit from her return to the track here last start when first up from a spell. A winner here back in September, she was shut down and her return effort saw her rattle home to be just a half-head in arrears. With the right trail she can be challenging.

DEECEE ROCKIN (2) was a winner on debut when taking control from gate 3 and leading them all the way. Wide gates have stung at his past two and lighting the lamps here looks far more suitable.

TIN AMBER MINE (7) will require a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as he looks in danger of being snookered. His past three have been in far stronger company and he just needs some gaps.

SELECTIONS: AURORA FIG (5), PROSPECTUS (9), DEECEE ROCKIN (2), TIN AMBER MINE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA FIG (5) to win

RACE SIX

MULLUM BOY (1)
will be further tightened from his latest outing where he was third up from an 18-month layoff. Sound on return over the AP mile, he struck a tyre issue second up but was just 2m away before his latest 2nd after sitting parked. With all the options, he can capitalise.

MISTER DOMINGO (7) took the trail from gate 1 last start when fresh up and found the speed too slippery as THE WATERBOY proved too slippery. Taking on a strong 2YO race two starts back claimed by ARODA, he was just a head away here three back from the trail. He can be ready to strike.

DIPPED IN SILVER (3) was a winner here four starts back when descending in the closing stages to break the maiden status. Placed in two runs since, he can find the running line to feature.

SAN MAREA (5) returns from a spell after her last appearance came in the Triad Consolation for fillies behind CHEER LEADER. The gate dents her chances first up, but she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MULLUM BOY (1), MISTER DOMINGO (7), DIPPED IN SILVER (3), SAN MAREA (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

EASTBRO TEX (3)
was staring down a hat-trick of victories after successive all the way efforts when gunned down in the latter stages here three starts back. Beaten by wide gates in both starts since that appearance, he gets a chance here to look for the front and taking control can look to see it out.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (1) lands the options from the ace, a gate where she tried to lead throughout from four runs back over the AP mile when finishing 9m astern of the winner BEE GEES BEST. Off the second line in all three since, she gets her chance to throw down the challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (5) was first up off a freshen here last start when finding the front from this gate and looking to see it out. Just peaking late, he will be fitter for the outing and has claims despite the gate.

DESTINY BLUES (7) likes a peg trip and from this gate should be securing the easy run in behind the action. This opposition looks more within her reach than her past few.

SELECTIONS: EASTBRO TEX (3), TORQUE TO THE MAX (1), CIRCLE LINE (5), DESTINY BLUES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: EASTBRO TEX (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

SNACK TIME ROCKS (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out where she was able to hold on for the bronze behind YARRAMAN NEEDY. Placed at her past six in succession, she has the gate to be up near the speed and tonight might just be the night for the account opener.

MYSTICAL CHARM (8) is getting closer to the maiden breaker after finishing as the runner-up at her past three in succession. Trying to fight them off last start, it was only the handy 2YO INGNITE THE FIRE that was able to get past. Trailing through early can see her feature.

IMTHECANDYMAN (6) has been well supported in two runs back from a spell, the latest from the second line when making an error that sees him cop the ODM embargo. He is a podium hope.

SHE DAZZLES (1) struck trouble on debut and had her chances expire. A nicely bred filly, she has the gate to turn it around second up.

SELECTIONS: SNACK TIME ROCKS (2), MYSTICAL CHARM (8), IMTHECANDYMAN (6), SHE DAZZLES (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
