RACE ONE

GABBYS SPORTSTAR (3) was wide off the track last start when working into the contest in smart order to grab the silver behind ROCKSLIDE. Faced with gate 6 in that battle, he was luckless the start prior when probing for a gap as CHEETAH LODGE arrived. This looks his chance to cash-in.

BONNIES CAM (1) is looking to overturn a winless streak that extends to April last year and comes up with the right gate for the turnaround. Beaten by gate 7 last start in a second division qualifier, he was not too far away two starts back and with early hustle has the options to challenge.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (8) was 3rd here three starts back when asked to hang tough outside the leader. Beaten by wide gates his past two at The Creek, he can get the right trail here to chime in.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (2) was a winner here two starts back when holding up from gate 1 and taking them all the way over the 2040. 3rd to FREE THINKER last start, he can feature from this alley.

SELECTIONS: GABBYS SPORTSTAR (3), BONNIES CAM (1), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (8), ALLMIGHTY MAX (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GABBYS SPORTSTAR (3) to win

RACE TWO

RAANI (5) is afforded no favours from the wide gate but might just appreciate this level of opposition. Firing out to lead from gate 2 last start and then collared in the last strides by SHADOW MINISTER, she chased behind GOLDIES A DELIGHT two starts back. This looks within her capabilities.

LIFEINHEAVEN (9) is at her best when finding a peg trip and from outside the second line might find herself a little further back than is optimal. 7m from ROCKSLIDE last start when settled three poles, she found the line in nice order three back for the bronze behind SCENE OF TERROR.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (8) was a winner two starts back after retreating from a wide gate and then coming with the well-timed run to arrive. 6m from the smart CUSTOM NIKE last start, he has claims.

TORQUE IS MY GIRL (1) is another of the Torque team to have entered the Butler stable and will be first up this season. A ten-time winner, the gate is a big help fresh.

SELECTIONS: RAANI (5), LIFEINHEAVEN (9), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (8), TORQUE IS MY GIRL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: RAANI (5) to win

RACE THREE

FAKE CULLECTION (1)
ended up a long way off them in the run last start over the AP mile as the leader and winner SUBSTITOOTH was high tailing it. Making some nice closing ground to round a few up, it followed a nice closing 2nd behind LOOKS JUST RIGHT. All the favours fall her way here.

PRESS STATEMENT (4) had an early look last start but forced to ease for a spot was soon back in the pack and then never saw open road when needed. Grabbing the bronze behind subsequent winner SCENE OF TERROR here two starts back, he night just get across here to issue the challenge.

WHATA TERROR (5) capitalised from gate 1 here two starts back when taking them all the way. Beaten by gate 6 last time but still closing out nicely, he can be making a late raid here.

FORTES IN FIDE (7) was a passing lane winner here two starts back when darting through after securing the pocket trail from this same gate. Tucked away, he can be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: FAKE CULLECTION (1), PRESS STATEMENT (4), WHATA TERROR (5), FORTES IN FIDE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FAKE CULLECTION (1) to win

RACE FOUR

HEAVENLY WISDOM (1)
was taken back from gate 4 last start over the sprint trip before making some handy metres over the latter stages. Taking on a tougher battle two starts back when down the line behind FREE THINKER, she lands the options here to capitalise.

MATAI REACTOR (2) was a winner over the sprint trip four runs back when overcoming the second line to take the prize. Finding suitable conditions again last start to descend on them in the closing stages, his middle trip record is questionable at 1 from 31.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (3) has been freshened since his last outing when chasing from the second line behind FAKE CULLECTION. With early hustle, he can be forward to feature.

SCHEU CREEK (9) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when securing the trail from inside the second line as TEACHERS PET took the prize. With the right trail he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENLY WISDOM (1), MATAI REACTOR (2), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (3), SCHEU CREEK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVENLY WISDOM (1) to win

RACE FIVE

TULHURST CUDDLES (6)
was a winner from gate 5 over this trip three starts back when easing into the 1x1 trail before owning the best closing speed to arrive for a half-head margin. Wilting after a tough trip at her next appearance, she can force the issue from the wide gate to stake her claim.

NON PASSARE (7) has shown some consistency in recent weeks, hitting the board in four of his past six which includes a win here three back when powering over the top in the closing stages. Beaten by gate 6 last start, he will get the economical trip and if finding gaps with momentum can challenge.

CAUGHT OUT (1) landed this same gate last time where she was beaten for early speed and came to the outside in the stretch from the trail to grab the silver. With the early options she can feature.

JAYDES TERROR (8) burrowed through to hold them wide here three back and from the front was able to take them all the way. Beaten by gate 6 last start, a peg trip could be the play here.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST CUDDLES (6), NON PASSARE (7), CAUGHT OUT (1), JAYDES TERROR (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

STAR OF THE ARTS (2)
has now had three runs back from a spell and faced tougher gates than she secures here in each run back. Showing early hustle from gate 5 last start before fading in the closing stages, she strikes a more suitable set up here and from the front gets her chance to capitalise.

JILLIBY TYPHOON (4) has had five runs this season, all at headquarters where her best return was a 3rd when using the passing lane behind LOOKS JUST RIGHT. Placed in one of her two appearances here on The Triangle, she can get forward to issue the challenge.

COCONUT CUTIE (1) has had three runs back from a spell and lands the right gate for a soft trip this time. Striking trouble last start behind subsequent winner TIL HEAVENS ROCKN, she can chime in.

ULTIMATE STINGRAY (7) struck trouble here two starts back when resuming from a spell before facing gate 6 behind KORLOFF NOIR last time. With a cosy trip he can be joining in against this lot.

SELECTIONS: STAR OF THE ARTS (2), JILLIBY TYPHOON (4), COCONUT CUTIE (1), ULTIMATE STINGRAY (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  STAR OF THE ARTS (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

HOLME BOY (4)
made the most of gate 1 to take them all the way four starts back and followed that with a 2nd when leading deep into the stretch. Fading into 3rd last start as MATAI REACTOR took the prize, he can fire off the arm and, in this line, up will take some stitching with an easy time in front.

OFFICE BAD BOY (1) was a winner here three starts back when descending on them from the second line to take a half-neck margin. Striking trouble at his next start, he was a beaten fav last time out from gate 5 and from this alley should be in position to challenge.

GO JO JOLT (8) was sent to sit parked last start from gate 4 and despite a tough trip was in for the fight when 5m away in 3rd behind DIEGO DELGADO. With the right trail she can chime in.

GEORGEZILLA (6) was a barrier scratching for causing two false starts here two back and eased the pain for connections with a win here last time. The gate makes it tough, but he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: HOLME BOY (4), OFFICE BAD BOY (1), GO JO JOLT (8), GEORGEZILLA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

LAST TIME JOE (9) takes his first look at The Triangle after two runs since arriving in Qld have both been at HQ. Buried away on the poles and best of the chasers when runner-up to BRONSKI DELIGHT two starts back, he was under 5m from MIKI MAGIC last start. This is within reach with the right trip.

EMMALEEN (2) will strip fitter following her return to the track last time out when first up since June. Angled to the poles from gate 8, she chased for the silver behind the dictating IM BELIEBER. Likely to be in the running line from this gate, she can be ready to make a closing challenge.

ANSONS BAY (1) was forced to do plenty of work last time out and under the circumstances there was plenty of merit in the run. With the chance to burrow through, he can feature.

RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6) continues to hone her craft and learn the racing caper and last start was taken back from gate 6 before making late ground for the bronze. She can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS:  LAST TIME JOE (9), EMMALEEN (2), ANSONS BAY (1), RHONDA BLUE CHIP (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LAST TIME JOE (9) to win

RACE NINE

OLLIE ONE SHOT (8)
was sent around them to get parked last start and faded to a midfield finish as MISTIQUE finally cashed in. Tackling a much stronger maiden the start prior behind NAKULA, he strikes the right opposition here to finally open the account.

SURFER JOE (3) pressed the issue last start from this gate to take control and out in front was trying to fend them off when finishing 9m in arrears. Chasing home behind HOLME BOY the start prior, he can get forward here to issue the challenge.

BOUNTYHUNTER (2) has not shown much in his three starts this season, but with two from gate 6 and one from gate 9, it has stunted his prospects. Back to this gate he can be sharper.

KISS THE AVIATOR (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as he looks set to be buried. Placed at his past two starts, he can be probing to chime in.

SELECTIONS: OLLIE ONE SHOT (8), SURFER JOE (3), BOUNTYHUNTER (2), KISS THE AVIATOR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: OLLIE ONE SHOT (8) to win
