RACE ONE

MISTER REACTOR (5) should appreciate the step back into this grade after clashing with tougher opposition than what he faces for this contest. Midfield last start behind FREE THINKER, the start prior he worked hard when parked as subsequent Saturday winner MELTON BEACH arrived.

MIKI MAGIC (4) took a career PB last time out at The Creek when releasing from gate 1 and then making the closing shot a winning one. Placed her previous three leading into that victory, this will be her first look at The Triangle as she looks to issue the challenge.

THE EGG COUNTER (6) was first up in Qld last week when sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked. Fighting hard to be under 3m from the winner, she can get forward to feature again.

TRALEE MAXIE (8) lines up for his first Qld appearance and arrives with a perfect 2 from 2 record at Tamworth. With a tidy trial effort, he can be thereabouts here fresh.

SELECTIONS: MISTER REACTOR (5), MIKI MAGIC (4), THE EGG COUNTER (6), TRALEE MAXIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER REACTOR (5) to win

RACE TWO

PRESS STATEMENT (7) will be sweating on getting to the passing lane with momentum as he chases his first win of the season. Firing out to lead them up last start, he was fighting deep into the stretch, only to be wore down in the closing stages to be 3m from the winner. He will be probing.

ROYAL PRINCESS (3) was taken off the arm last start to settle rearward before making some nice metres in the closing stages to be midfield behind MONTANA EXPRESS. Fitter from that outing where she was first up from a let up, she can be closer to the action to challenge.

ILLBEWATCHING (8) slide forward from outside the front line last start and was able to ease into the 1x1 slot but could not go on with it when 7m away. Pressing through early, he can chime in.

DONT FEAR FOR ME (1) was sent around them from the second line here two starts back and held on for the bronze. Stuck from gate 6 last start, the improved gate is a big help.

SELECTIONS: PRESS STATEMENT (7), ROYAL PRINCESS (3), ILLBEWATCHING (8), DONT FEAR FOR ME (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

TORQUE WRITER (4)
is staring down a hat-trick of wins and looking to remain undefeated since joining the Butler barn. Both wins have been from gate 6 where she has been taken to the rear before sweeping home over the top. The tempo looks right for her to achieve the threepeat.

HEAR THE CALL (7) was trying to make closing metres last start from outside the second line when finishing just out of the money when 5m astern of the winner. Placed his previous three starts, he will enjoy the economical trip here and be ready to shoot the gap when it opens.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) had this same gate last when burrowing through to hold them wide. Trying to fight them off, she held on for the silver as TACTFILLY MIRACLE went past. She will be gripping on.

DATSINAHURRI (2) is at her best when able to find the front so from this alley will be taking a good look. A winner from gate 5 three runs back when taking control, her stocks rise if lighting the lamps.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE WRITER (4), HEAR THE CALL (7), GETALOADATHISGIRL (1), DATSINAHURRI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE WRITER (4) to win

RACE FOUR

JACCKA WALLY (7)
has some poor numbers to his name in four appearances this season, yet they do not paint the true story of his fortunes. Outside the second line was always a task too great as YEP GOT CHOOKS was in total control last start and his prior runs were sectionally super. He gets his chance with the second line options and a smaller field.

THE IRISH EAGLE (4) should appreciate the return to this deck after trying his luck at HQ at his past two starts. Doing some early work before finding cover as YEP GOT CHOOKS dictated last start, he was too powerful in front here three back and can throw down the challenge.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (3) made it two wins from his past three starts when finding the trail last start from gate 2 and finishing best to claim a narrow victory. He can be close enough to feature again.

BE MY ROCK (1) was a winner here three starts back when forcing the issue from gate 3 to take control and then fight them off. Fading last start after sitting parked, he has the options.

SELECTIONS: JACCKA WALLY (7), THE IRISH EAGLE (4), ALLMIGHTY MAX (3), BE MY ROCK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JACCKA WALLY (7) to win

RACE FIVE

CORVETTE JOE (6)
features in a switch of stables to join the Donny Smith yard after a last start 3rd. Eased from this same gate on that occasion before making some late metres as IM BELIEBER scored, that was an improvement off his precious efforts and he can continue the upward trend.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (2) was runner-up last start when chasing home from the second line as HURRIKANE KING landed the win. Midfield behind the handy GWYENTH P the start prior, she can be first to the poles and with options thereafter will gain her chance to challenge.

CONNIES SPIRIT (8) has placed at her past three in succession, the latest when eased off the inside to make some closing ground for 3rd. Runner-up to GWYNETH P two starts back, she can join in.

BARROOM BLITZ (9) has been freshened since her last effort when fading out as REDS STAAR DEAL claimed a strong win. Placed three runs back, with a cart home she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: CORVETTE JOE (6), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (2), CONNIES SPIRIT (8), BARROOM BLITZ (9)
SUGGESTED BET: CORVETTE JOE (6) to win

RACE SIX

CANDYKANE (1)
will strip fitter from her latest outing where she was resuming from a spell and tackled a much stronger line up than she faces here. Fading in the latter stages of that race, she was not too far from BETTORS HOPE at her last run last term, with the improved gate a huge help.

SAN MAREA (4) was resuming from a spell here two starts back when doing her share of work and still giving on the wire when just a half-head from the winner. Franking that performance here last start, she powered over the tip to claim a 3m margin and from this alley will throw it down again.

FORTES IN FIDE (3) started from inside the second line last start and was soon shuffled back in the wash up and then did not spot gaps when needed. A winner three starts back, he has claims here.

IMA BEACH BABE (8) was runner-up last start when darting through on the passing lane to be 2m from the winner MISS DAYTONA in a much tougher event. She can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: CANDYKANE (1), SAN MAREA (4), FORTES IN FIDE (3), IMA BEACH BABE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CANDYKANE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

OLLIE ONE SHOT (6)
was wide off he track last start when trying to make ground but ultimately could not bridge the gap. Fading after sitting parked the start prior, he has looked more balanced at his past couple and with the right trip, this might just be the day he opens the account.

PRETENTIOUS BEAUTY (2) is just a 2YO tackling older performers first up for trainer Damo Shaw. The daughter of Sunshine Beach looked good in a recent qualifying trial where she did everything right in following a helmet throughout. From the handy gate, she stays under watch first up.

SNACK TIME ROCKS (7) was asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way last start and after working hard, faded in the closing stages. Placed her previous six in succession, she will be probing here.

KISS THE AVIATOR (5) was trying to make ground along the passing lane last start when under 2m from the winner BAHAMAS MISS. Placed his previous two, the gate dents his chances.

SELECTIONS: OLLIE ONE SHOT (6), PRETENTIOUS BEAUTY (2), SNACK TIME ROCKS (7), KISS THE AVIATOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: OLLIE ONE SHOT (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

FEELING THE POWER (6)
has faced the inside second line at his past two starts and has been a tough watch as he has looked to have plenty to offer on each occasion, but things have not gone his way. He moves back to wide off the front line here but despite the impediment, can get forward to capitalise.

CAUGHT OUT (5) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when burrowing through from gate 1 to keep them wide and looking to take them all the way. 3m astern of the winner JAYDES TERROR in holding 3rd, the gate makes it tough here, but she can challenge in what looks a wide open affair.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (8) was first up here two starts back when releasing after some sustained pressure and then last week was again pressured in front when trying to fight them off but had to settle for 3rd. she can chime in.

BADLUCKBAZ (9) did his share of work last start when fading to a midfield finish behind HOLME BOY. Not too far away the start prior, he can get the right trail to feature.

SELECTIONS: FEELING THE POWER (6), CAUGHT OUT (5), TORQUE IN CONTROL (8), BADLUCKBAZ (9)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELING THE POWER (6) to win
