RACE ONE

In consistent form since the start of the season, HAMMER SON (5) found the perfect set up last week after settling in the running line from the 40m. Powering over the top, he put them away in style in claiming a 14m victory. He meets most of these off the same differential to rinse and repeat.

MAJESTIC TIME (1) has shown good manners off the tapes in recent starts and here last week was safely away from the 20m to lead the up before opting for cover. Fighting on for the silver behind HAMMER SON, off the front tape, he can be in the right spot to throw down the challenge.

THE REAPER (4) performs at a different level when he can settle near the speed and moving to the 10m tape will get that chance. Coming off 40m at his past four starts, he can be much sharper here.

NATTY PAGGER (8) worked home soundly last start when midfield behind HAMMER SON. Off the back tape, he will appreciate a smaller field size here and with the right trip is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: HAMMER SON (5), MAJESTIC TIME (1), THE REAPER (4), NATTY PAGGER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HAMMER SON (5) to win

RACE TWO

Needing a rub of the green from this alley where he is in danger of being snookered, SOHO CASABLANCA (7) has bumped into some handy ones in his 4 runs back this prep. Strong to the line two starts back, he was again beaten by a wide gate last start as FRANKIE FEROCIOUS dictated.

TACTICS ARE ROLLIN (2) returns from a spell after finishing her 2YO term in October with successive victories. Both wins came here on The Triangle, the second a big effort after her chances looked forlorn following a break. Not asked for much in a recent trial, she has the gate to challenge fresh.

DEVOUGED (6) has placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when doing it the tough way sitting parked and grafting out the silver behind SISTA BLISS. The gate makes it a big ask again here.

BRAEVIEW FELLA (1) was runner-up last start after rolling forward form gate 4 to sit parked and fight on to be 6m in arrears of the winner. With the cosy trip on offer, he again has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SOHO CASABLANCA (7), TACTICS ARE ROLLIN (2), DEVOUGED (6), BRAEVIEW FELLA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SOHO CASABLANCA (7)

RACE THREE

Hitting the board in 7 of his 9 attempts here at the peninsula, AWAYOVERNIGHT (5) will relish the opportunity to get back to the front line following a second line alley at his past four in succession. Bereft of luck here last week when locked away behind tiring runners, he can make his own luck.

DATSINAHURRI (2) does her best work when able to light the lamps and from this gate she looks to get that opportunity. Settled in the running line last start and unable to make a closing raid, four starts back she found the front to take them all the way and gets the chance to challenge here.

BERTILS FIREFOX (7) will get the easy trip tucked away on the poles here and searching for a gap can look to grab a minor. A return to Redcliffe is also in his favour after recent attempts at HQ.

MAN OF ACTION (3) was a winner from outside the second line here two starts back when making solid ground in the latter stages to arrive. He can be closer to the action here to feature.

SELECTIONS: AWAYOVERNIGHT (5), DATSINAHURRI (2), BERTILS FIREFOX (7), MAN OF ACTION (3)
SUGGESTED BET: AWAYOVERNIGHT (5) to win

RACE FOUR

Making it 2 from 2 since joining the Turpin stable, WHERES OUR MONEY (7) faces a different challenge here at his first look at The Triangle. Both wins were bold front-running displays in smart time and both by margins of 14m. He will be stalking the speed ready to strike when the gap arrives.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1) eased from gate 3 last start and looked for the short cuts along the peg line as FRANKIE FEROCIOUS was never bothered in front. Not suited at the 2138m two back, he held on for the bronze behind MIKI MAGIC three back and has the conditions here to challenge.

MAJOR TRALEE (8) moved up to apply the pressure to the leader last start after pressing ahead from outside the front line. Fighting hard to hold 3rd behind ROCK HAMMER, he can be thereabouts again.

BETTING BARON (9) settled rearward from gate 8 last start before closing best over the top to arrive for a 3m margin. This is a step up, but he can be closing out hard once again.

SELECTIONS: WHERES OUR MONEY (7), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1), MAJOR TRALEE (8), BETTING BARON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HERES OUR MONEY (7) to win

RACE FIVE

SOME GIRLS DONT (9)
takes her first look at Redcliffe after finishing midfield last start in a strong mare’s qualifier taken by DELTA THREE. A smart winner over the AP mile two starts back, she can work into the contest in the closing stages to challenge.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR (5) is yet to win in 9 attempts here at Redcliffe, but he has been in the money at 7 of those appearances. Making some nice metres wide off the track around the tight Marburg circuit last start when 3rd, he was luckless here two starts back. The gate hurts but he can challenge.

ARTS PEREGRINE (1) has placed at his past three starts and gets the alley to be tucked in behind and ready to make a closing play. Closing nicely for 3rd last start after being hemmed away, he has claims.

MIKI MAGIC (3) has hot the board in all 6 starts this season, the latest when holding 3rd behind MISTER REACTOR. A PB winner at the mile two starts back, she can be close enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: SOME GIRLS DONT (9), GABBYS SPORTSTAR (5), ARTS PEREGRINE (1), MIKI MAGIC (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SOME GIRLS DONT (9) to win

RACE SIX

Given no favours from outside the second line, TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (9) finds conditions where the early tempo should be in his favour. Trying to make a wide closing run last start, he made an error that ended his chances. Following through, he can arrive in a tricky contest.

O B LEGAL (7) started from inside the second line over the AP 2138m last start and was soon off the inside and into the running line. Finishing strongly over the top, he went on to pull away to an 8m margin. Luckless the start prior, he will be searching for the gaps again here to challenge.

KORLOFF NOIR (3) only has the two wins against her name but brings some tidy figures on this deck to the table. Pressing to the front before releasing and then finishing best last start, she has claims.

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (5) was sent around them from the second line here last start to sit parked and after the tough trip was still giving when under 2m from the winner. The 2040 is the concern.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (9), O B LEGAL (7), KORLOFF NOIR (3), MAYWYN TROUBADOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MISS DAYTONA (3)
will be out to remain undefeated since arriving in Qld after an effortless first up victory at headquarters. Sent straight to the front from gate 4, she took them all the way to frank a smart trial performance. From this gate, she looks to get every chance for the repeat.

MIGHTY GEORGE (8) secured the perfect trip in behind the speed here last week and when the passing lane presented, had the power to pounce on the prize. Eased from gate 7 before closing out in nice style two starts back, he can trail through early and be ready to issue a closing challenge.

STOMPEM (1) should find this a little easier than his last start when tackling a 70Final and finishing down the line behind KANYE CRUSADER. With the soft trip, he will be probing in the stretch.

PRINCE JOY (7) has faced wider second line gates at his past two starts and been forced wide off the track in trying to launch a closing raid. With the economical trip, he will be probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: MISS DAYTONA (3), MIGHTY GEORGE (8), STOMPEM (1), PRINCE JOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS DAYTONA (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

Resuming from a spell here last week at the middle trip from this same gate, MISTERFREEZE (6), eased to the rear before rattling home over the top of them to arrive for a neck margin. With the added fitness and some strong front-line tempo, he can look to make it a repeat performance.

SOLE AMBITION (3) slid forward and was exposed early before receiving the 1x1 trail and finishing midfield behind TUPAEKA GLORY who landed the prize up the passing lane. 3rd to BETTOR JIGGLE two starts back from gate 6, he can fire the early bullets here to throw down the challenge.

COMMODORE JUJON (4) has a nice record here on The Triangle, hitting the board in 15 of 22 which includes five wins. Collared in the last stride last start up the passing lane, he has claims here.

BITCOIN (5) should enjoy a return to the front line, even though he faces the wider starting alley. Grabbing 3rd from the second line here last week, he can get forward to apply some heat.

SELECTIONS: MISTERFREEZE (6), SOLE AMBITION (3), COMMODORE JUJON (4), BITCOIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTERFREEZE (6) to win

RACE NINE

Asked to hang tough when sitting parked in a 70Final on Sat night, DESPONDENT (2) was brave in defeat when holding on for the silver behind HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY. Only 5m away from gate 7 the start prior, he can press the button here and look to take them all the way.

ITS MR CLOONEY (7) has placed at his past two starts, the latest a tough 3rd when sitting parked and finishing 4m from the winner MISTREFREEZE. Just a neck away two starts back, he will need a slice of luck at some stage to see open road and issue a challenge.

ROLL ONE OVER (1) was sent to the post as fav last start from this gate at the 2040 trip and tried to take them all the way when fading to a midfield finish. With a stalking trip, he can chime in.

SUBTLE DELIGHT (8) will take benefit from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell. Taking the trail and finishing under 3m from LE TISSIER, he can trail through here to feature.

SELECTIONS: DESPONDENT (2), ITS MR CLOONEY (7), ROLL ONE OVER (1), SUBTLE DELIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: DESPONDENT (2) to win
