Races 3-9 were abandoned at Bundaberg greyhounds on Monday, March 13 due to a severe electrical storm.

Race 8 on the program was to be the final of the Bundaberg Wildcard, the conditions of which grant the winner automatic entry into the Final of the Bundaberg Cup on March 27.

As the Wildcard event could not be rescheduled before the heats of the Bundaberg Cup on March 20, the greyhound to progress to the Bundaberg Cup final was determined under GAR 57 (2b).

QRIC Stewards conducted a ballot on Tuesday, March 14 and the greyhound to progress to the Bundaberg Cup Final is Midnight Cambla trained by Louise Cameron.

As a feature event, the prize money for the Bundaberg Wildcard Final was divided evenly between participants.

As per the Abandoned Race Meetings Policy, each trainer will receive $80 compensation and the starters fee for each greyhound in the remaining abandoned races.

The Bundaberg Greyhound Racing Club will conduct public trials on Thursday March 16 commencing at 3pm. Bookings are essential by calling the Club on (07) 4152 2033.
