RACE ONE

After three runs back from a long break, AMERICAN OUTLAW (4) comes into this further tightened after a strong qualifying victory last start. Overcoming the second line and a chequered passage, he arrived in the closing strides and looks to find conditions to land the repeat.

OBI ONE (5) was second up from a spell last time out when settled at the rear of the pack from outside the second line. Making good metres in the closing stages to grab 3rd behind UPTOWN BEACHGIRL, the smaller field can see him looking to make a closing challenge.

LETS BLAZE (2) will appreciate the small field and tight gate that is presented here. Too far back last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip when HEAVEN IN LOCKSLEY dictated in front, he has claims.

RACE TWO

Having faced some issues with her barrier manners in recent starts, GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (3) has earned the return to the main draw which is a huge plus if she can get the start right. A gritty 4th when 8m from FRANKIE FEROCIOUS last start, she can fire out and finds conditions to dictate.

PEBBLE SANDS (6) made the most of the ace last start when darting off the arm over the 2138 trip and was able to take them all the way. Bringing it home with a smart closing 800 to hold a 1m margin, it followed a 3m margin behind FRAYA the start prior. The gate dents his repeat hopes.

YANKEE C J (7) was not suited last start at Redcliffe when retreating from gate 5 and from there was too far back in the pack. A handy 3rd two starts back, he is podium hope despite the tough gate.

HIGH ON MONTANA (1) eased into the running line from gate 6 two starts back and had the closing power to descend on them and claim a 6m margin. From this gate he can feature.

RACE THREE

WHATA JOURNEY (2)
is still chasing her first win since arriving in Queensland but looks to have found the right set up here. Making some late metres from back in the pack in a mare’s qualifier last start, she was only beaten a neck here four runs back and has the early hustle to capitalise.

SHEREACTS (8) was able to graft out a determined victory last start after sitting parked over the Marburg sprint trip in pulling clear to a 5m margin. With the second line options, she will likely be into the running line and looking to throw down a challenge.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (4) was buried from inside the second line last start when finishing just out of the money. Just a half-head away the start prior when chasing a hat-trick, he is right in the fight.

MORESCO (3) was first up back in the Veivers stable last start when beaten by a wide gate at Marburg. From this gate she can settle handy, and an improved effort can be expected.

RACE FOUR

The winner of just one race in his career, TIN AMBER MINE (8) is giving away experience for this assignment but maps to get the right trip. Down the line last start at Redcliffe, he will appreciate the wider expanses on offer here and stalking the speed can look to land the winning blow.

ROCCO VARIETY (10) held the pocket trail from inside the second line two starts back and was trying to launch a last raid when 2m away in 2nd behind MY SECRET BEACH. Grabbing the bronze last start, he can be issuing a closing challenge from the tough gate here.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) has faded at his past three starts where he has been asked to sit parked on each occasion. Back to the poles where he can lead or trail, he can be much sharper.

HESLUVABLE (7) has been consistent in recent weeks, the latest a smart effort in making late ground to grab the silver. A gritty effort over this trip three back, the gate makes it a tougher ask.

RACE FIVE

Making full use of gate 1 last time out, MY SECRET BEACH (8) darted through to set the tempo and from the front was never in danger when claiming a 2m margin. A sound effort two back from a tough gate, he will be stalking the speed here and can dart through to arrive.

JILLIBY TYPHOON (1) pressed ahead from gate 4 at Redcliffe two starts back and finding the front was able to see it out, holding on for a narrow half-head margin as the punters elect. Beaten in red figures last start at Kilcoy when 2m from the winner, she has gone under as the fav at 3 of her past 5.

TOMMY BLIGH (6) started from outside the second line last start on The Triangle and was making some nice metres in the latter stages when runner-up to ROCK HAMMER. He can chime in again.

DIEGO DELGADO (4) found the front over the Redcliffe sprint trip three runs back and was able to last the trip with a 2m margin. A gritty 3rd last start, he will be forcing the issue here.

RACE SIX

Over 18 months have passed since PEPPA BLISS (9) last tasted victory but here recent attempts suggest that the winning rains are imminent. Beaten a lip two starts back when making a late dive, she was carted back to last from a wide gate last time out. Following through, she can swoop late.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (1) came from what appeared a near impossible position last start at Marburg and descended upon them to score a smart victory. Tough gates have hampered her past two appearances on this deck and from the improved gate she can issue the challenge.

FILLY THIRTEEN (3) tackled a mare’s qualifier last start when finishing just out of the placings behind the big winner OUR PRINCESS KENNEDY. A passing lane winner here two back, she can chime in.

GOZO SUNSHINE (8) darted through along the passing lane last start to grab the prize over the Redcliffe 2040m trip. Another soft trip here can see him look to grab a podium return.

RACE SEVEN

Stomping out a 1.54.3 mile from the front end here three starts back, LEANDER (1) has been forced to chaser at her past two in slightly tougher company. Last start in a mare’s qualifier, DELTA THREE controlled it in front and with her chance to dictate, she can look to see it out.

CUSTOM NIKE (5) was chasing down a hat-trick of victories last start when sitting parked and throwing down the heat to DELTA THREE. That was her biggest step since arriving in Qld where she had been large in victory when sitting parked in both wins and she will apply the blow torch again.

ISNTTHATRIGHT (4) chased home from gate 10 last start and could not reel them in when midfield to EVERYTHING HAPPENS. A strong winner from the front here three back, he has podium claims.

HARRY KANE (10) started from inside the second line at Redcliffe last start and was soon away from the inside and making a late rain to grab the silver when 1m from the winner. He is in the mix.

RACE EIGHT

At his best when able to roll in front, QUARTZITE (2) struck a smart mare in UPTOWN BEACHGIRL last start and could not run on over the latter stages. Runner-up to MOSSDALE MAC two starts back, he can fire out to take control and running along in front give them the target to chase down.

LORD OF MISRULE (6) was game in victory when sitting parked and despite looking vulnerable turning for home, was able to dig deep and see it out with a tough victory. He needs to step up another level here but looks up to the task.

LANAI (8) was returning from a spell last start for the new stable and was strong to the line when just a half-neck from the winner ROCK NIEN. A winner from gate 5 here three back, he is a place hope.
 
MACH DADDY (10)
has the second line to negotiate but should appreciate the bigger track. Grabbing 3rd behind ALTA REVELRY last start in a strong last 800, he can be looking to chime in.
