SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY TYPHOON (1) to win

RACE THREE

KEAYANG TARA (5)
is on the back up from Friday night where she tackles a mare’s qualifier from gate 1. Looking a strong chance in that contest, she hit the line in nice order two starts back after retreating from gate 5 before finishing 6m from GWYNETH P. She is up to this despite a tricky gate.

SHADYS DELIGHT (8) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when locked away on the poles at Marburg from the inside second line. Finding a gap too late, he was able to grab the silver behind UNDERTHEKILT. Strong to the line here two starts back, he can be making a closing raid to challenge.

TULHURST CUDDLES (2) has a smart record here on The Triangle where she has a 65% top-three strike rate from her 20 starts. A strong winner when parked last start at Marburg, she is in the fight.

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

STORMTIDE (5) has been in super form since joining the Donny Smith barn, lining up here with 3 wins from his past 4 appearances. Finishing over the top of them last start to claim a qualifying win from gate 6, he has shown the versatility to overcome the sticky gate he faces here.

MOSSDALE MAC (4) has found some form to win two of his past three, the latest when taking them all the way over the AP mile. Initially balancing up before being sent forward in a hurry over the 2040 here three back, he took control and was never headed. This is within reach.

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (1) darted through from this gate last start and was a long way in front setting a slick tempo when fading in the closing stages. Controlling the tempo, she has podium claims.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (7) was a winner from the pocket trail here two starts back, finding the gap to make the closing shot a winning one. With the economical trip, he can be ready to strike.

SUGGESTED BET: STORMTIDE (5) to win

RACE FIVE

ROCCO VARIETY (5)
has placed at his past three starts, the latest from outside the second line when making nice metres in the stretch to be 3m from the winner. Off the second line at each of his previous two starts, he has the early bullets to find position to take his shot.

FRAME DRIVE (6) faces an ODM embargo after striking trouble soon after the start last time out at Marburg but was able to charge home over the top of them I the last 600m to score a smart victory. Fast off the arm, he can get forward early to throw it down.

SONNY ORLANDO (4) sat in the running line from a second line gate last start at Marburg and was making the closing raid to get within a half-neck of the winner. He can be making a play again here.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) eased from gate 5 to find the poles last start when searching for luck. Making a nice closing play to be under 5m from the winner, he can be chiming in again here.

SUGGESTED BET: ROCCO VARIETY (5) to win

RACE SIX

OUR MODERN MINNIE (2)
is on the back up from Tuesday where she put her rivals to the sword when carving out a big win from the front end. Firing out from gate 4 to take control she was never in danger in posting an 8m margin. The gate gives her every chance to repeat.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR (1) lands his best gate for some time and should relish the opportunity to limit the work in the run with the map on offer here. Strong late when 3rd to SHEREACTS at Marburg two back, he was forced to work hard in the run last start. From the gate he can launch some form of challenge.

THE EGG COUNTER (7) was sent forward to sit parked from a wide gate here three starts back and despite the tough trip, held on for 2nd.  Cracking under pressure last start over the AP mile, a return to the Peninsula should help.

LA SAFRON (6) backs up from Wednesday night where he closed out in nice order from the 1x1 trtail to claim victory. Placed in all three prior to that appearance, the wide gate makes it tougher for this contest.

SELECTIONS: OUR MODERN MINNIE (2), GABBYS SPORTSTAR (1), THE EGG COUNTER (7), LA SAFRON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR MODERN MINNIE (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

HUNK OF SPUNK (1)
is on the back up from Wednesday night where he started into the red form outside the front line. Wide and taken back before sustaining a wide run to arrive on the wire, the improved gate is a huge plus and he looks hard to hold out.

LAST TIME JOE (4) was too strong from back in the pack here three starts back, settling near the rear from outside the second line and then rattling home late to arrive. Faced with the outside front line around the tight Marburg circuit at his past two, he looks to get his chance from this gate.

HEAVENLY SEA (8) will move to inside the second line where she can secure the right trip. Finishing over the top of them two start back to claim victory, she will be stalking the speed here.

CANDYKANE (6) has no favours form the carpark and has had a mixed bag in her three runs back this campaign. Fading out of it last start, she was only a half-neck away two back when second up.

SELECTIONS: LAST TIME JOE (4), HUNK OF SPUNK (1), HEAVENLY SEA (8), CANDYKANE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LAST TIME JOE (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

HESLUVABLE (3)
was well supported to overcome gate 7 last start over the AP mile where he was taken back to settle rearward. Making a late raid, he was able to grab the silver when 2m in arrears of the winner. Runner-up from gate 9 two starts back, he can get handy to take this.

AWAYOVERNIGHT (7) was asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way last start from gate 5 where he wilted after the tough trip. Placed in all four successive starts, he again lands the inside second line and will be relying on luck at some stage to shake clear and issue the challenge.

THE CROM (1) will be fresh here after a six week break between runs. Beaten by tough gates at his past two starts, he can secure the economical trip here to issue a late play.

JILLIBY GIZMO (2) will strip fitter from his last outing where he was resuming from a spell. Safely into stride from the tapes and trying to see it out at Marburg, his condition gave out. Settling handy will help the cause.

SELECTIONS: HESLUVABLE (3), AWAYOVERNIGHT (7), THE CROM (1), JILLIBY GIZMO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HESLUVABLE (3) to win
