RACE ONE

OUR LITTLE SKIPPER (1)
faced the outside second line last start and was making some nice metres over the closing stages to finish with the bronze behind WESTERN ACTION. Striking trouble two starts back at Marburg, she has the early hustle to burrow through and look for the account opener.

SKYLAR BREE (8) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out at Marburg and was trying to reel them in over the closing stages but ultimately came up 3m short. Tackling tougher opponents two starts back over the AP mile, she can settle handy by pressing through and tempo will help her chances.

BOUNTYHUNTER (2) has been kept fresh since his last appearance where he was asked to do it the tough way outside the leader. Some early options can prevail here and he is right in the fight.

PUMPKIN PAT (4) grabbed 3rd at Marburg two runs back after sitting in behind the leader and searching for some gaps when 5m away. She can be close enough to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: OUR LITTLE SKIPPER (1), SKYLAR BREE (8), BOUNTYHUNTER (2), PUMPKIN PAT (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

SURFER JOE (9) opened his winning account here last week when tackling a field not much tougher than what he faces here. Not bustled from gate 2 in that contest, he then finished over the top and following through here can look to finish it off in the same manner to repeat the performance.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1) sat in the trail last start and was trying to launch the closing raid when finishing with the silver behind KELLY LOUISE. Midfield the start prior in a s solidly run contest, she lands all the options here to be ready for the closing shot.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (5) tried to take them all the way from gate 1 here three starts back and was only collared in the closing stages by EXPLANATION NOTED. Limiting the early burn will be vital.

KOTARE ELITE (3) led them up here five runs back but could not see it out. Holding on for the silver as VERMONT finished over the top, her runs have been well spaced since and she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: SURFER JOE (9), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1), HEAVENLY WISDOM (5), KOTARE ELITE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SURFER JOE (9) to win

RACE THREE

WATERLINE (8)
was resuming from a spell last time out at her first appearance as a 3YO when sent to the post in red figures at Marburg. Trying to make a wide and sustained run after starting from outside the second line, she had to settle for the silver. She has the class to go one better.

WESTERN ACTION (2) showed the benefit of some added fitness when pressing through from gate 1 to repel the early challengers here last week and despite some early heat, was able to see it out with 4m to spare. Tightened further and with added experience, he can force the issue to throw it down.

ONE CHAIN ROAD (1) was a winner here three runs back at just his second career outing when overcoming gate 5 and finishing over the top. Not suited last start when parked, he has claims here.

ANSONS BAY (6) has no favours from the outside paint here after a last start where he was asked to do it the tough way outside the leader. He might need to do some work again here to feature.

SELECTIONS: WATERLINE (8), WESTERN ACTION (2), ONE CHAIN ROAD (1), ANSONS BAY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WATERLINE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

CAPTAINS PICK (2) eased to the poles last start and chased home for the bronze as the winner HESTON ZOOLANDER piled on the pace in front. Making some late metres from back in the pack two starts back, he can force the issue early to take control and from the front will take stopping.

LETS BLAZE (1) was sent around them to sit parked last start and could not cope as HESTON ZOOLANDER was running it hard in front. Chasing for the bronze two starts back behind AMERICAN OUTLAW, he can secure the good trip here in readiness to take a closing shot.

OBI ONE (6) was hitting the line in nice fashion last start which followed a second up run when also hitting the line smartly for 3rd. Both of those were behind in-form pacers and he can chime in late.

GIRL FROM OZ (5) will strip fitter from her latest outing where she was first up from a spell over the AP mile and closed it out smartly to be just a head from the winner. This will be her first look at The Triangle.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAINS PICK (2), LETS BLAZE (1), OBI ONE (6), GIRL FROM OZ (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAINS PICK (2) to win

RACE FIVE

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY(9)
faced this same gate last start over the sprint trip and was picking off some nice metres in the latter stages to finish3m in arrears of the winner AQUA CRUISER. A winner over the AP mile five back, he can descend in a race where a few of these might battle at the middle trip.

PURPLE SHADES (5) faced the outside second line last week and was hitting the line in nice order to grab the bronze behind MISS MIA. Buried in the run the start prior, positioning cheaply from the tricky gate can see him look to issue a closing challenge.

FORGIVE ME (7) took them all the way here four runs back from gate 1 over the sprint trip. Freshened since her last appearance in a mare’s qualifier, she can be probing for the gaps.

FORTES IN FIDE (8) eased from gate 5 last time out and was making some nice metres in the closing stages to grab 3rd behind TACTFILLY MIRACLE. Buried away two back, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (9), PURPLE SHADES (5), FORGIVE ME (7), FORTES IN FIDE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HOLDINGNO CURRENCY(9) to win

RACE SIX

MAJOR TRALEE (4)
only has the solitary win at the middle trip to his name, which came here when taking them all the way. The scratching to his inside is a bonus and after a tidy effort last start when parked, he can force the issue early to take a shot.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1) has been without a win for some time but strikes the right set up here to look to turn it all around. 8m away last start after settling in the 1x1 trail from gate 4, he has the early options and over the middle trip can land the spot to throw down a challenge.

DOLLARBILL (7) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sitting parked and was fighting on when 9m astern of the winner. With a cosy run available here, he can be probing for openings.

DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (5) has been in nice touch in recent starts with two wins in her past three and a 2nd in the other appearance. Winless at the middle trip, a cheap run will aid her chances.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR TRALEE (4), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1), DOLLARBILL (7), DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  MAJOR TRALEE (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISTER HART (2)
rolled the sleeves and did the heavy lifting outside the leader last start and despite the torrid trip was able to finish in 2nd when under 2m from the winner. Grabbing 3rd here two back, he can force the issue here and from the front might take some stopping.

TEACHERS PET (7) was looking to take them all the way last start from gate 1 and was sent to the post in red figures. Unable to repel COURAGEOUS SAM in the latter stages to settle for the silver, that made it successive 2nd placed finishes following a win three back. She will be probing for gaps.

ILLBEWATCHING (3) eased from gate 6 last start and from back in the pack was picking up some nice metres in the closing stages. Settling closer this time, he can be thereabouts.

LIFEINHEAVEN (9) eased to the fence last start and searching for late splits was 6m astern of the winner. Snagged off the gate from wide off the front two back, she can trail through and be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (2), TEACHERS PET (7), ILLBEWATCHING (3), LIFEINHEAVEN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER HART (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

BETTOR ROCKNROLL (1)
settled in the 1x1 trail last start and was trying to reel them in when grabbing the bronze with a 3m deficit. Not suited the start prior from the tapes at Marburg, he can burrow through from this alley and with the options thereafter look to cash in.

TELL ME THIS (5) rolled forward to sit parked from gate 5 last time out and was able to grind out the win with a half-neck to spare. Fading behind subsequent metro winner ZOES RAINBOW the start prior, he can press forward here to issue a challenge.

WHATA TERROR (6) is given no favours from the car park after his last start 3rd where he was trying to chime in late when 5m from the winner. Only 4m away in a blanket finish two starts back, he has claims.

BLACKJACK BETH (8) settled in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line and was able to grab 3rd behind COURAGEOUS SAM. Just 5m away the start prior, she can be trying to launch late.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR ROCKNROLL (1), TELL ME THIS (5), WHATA TERROR (6), BLACKJACK BETH (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTOR ROCKNROLL (1) to win

RACE NINE

FAVREAU (1)
scored in starchy fashion here two starts back when pressing on from gate 6 to sit parked and graft out the win. Sent around them from the second line last time and finishing 3m away, he will need to be stoked up early to protect the poles. If he can, he can dictate.

LA SAFRON (8) has worked his way back into some nice form and lines up with a top-three in six of ten this term. Taking them all the way here on Monday from gate 1, he landed the prize from the 1x1 trail three starts back. With the right trip, he can make it 3 wins in 8 days.

ITS BACK PAGE NEWS (5) burrowed through from gate 1 to lead them up here last start when holding on for the bronze behind the in-form STORMTIDE. The wide gate stings her chances here.

LITTLE CHANGE (9) was a Marburg winner three starts back when overcoming the outside front line gate. Closing out hard here two back for a narrow 2nd, he can be making a closing play again here.

SELECTIONS: FAVREAU (1), LA SAFRON (8), ITS BACKPAGE NEWS (5), LITTLE CHANGE (9)
SUGGESTED BET:
