HIGH ON MONTANA (6) was taken back from outside the front line over the AP 2138 last start and was strong to the line in a race that developed into a charge home. Striking trouble in the early stages tow back to gain the ODM embargo, with some tempo he can be descending on them.

TRUE GRIT SHADOW (4) faced the outside second line here three back where he was trying to get into the contest over the closing stages, grabbing 3^rd behind DEVOUGED in a stronger contest. Chasing home for 2^nd last start behind FLY CHEVAL, landing handy will aid his challenging chances.

DATSINAHURRI (1) does her best work when able to roll in front and has the gate to chase that preferred pattern here. A winner two back on the front end, she will be trying to repel the raiders.

ROCK SUPREME (9) should find this a little easier than recent outings where he has not been too far away. Making some nice metres last time behind O B LEGAL, he can make a closing play.

RACE TWO

ANIMADO (3) finds the ideal conditions to gain some winning confidence and claim his first win of the season. Taken back from gate 7 last start over the AP 2138, he was strong to the line over the closing stages as HIPSTAR took the prize. He can force the issue here and looks too strong.

WOODLEA DIEGO (1) made the most of his opportunity from this gate last start when darting through to hold them wide and lead throughout in smart time. Buried the start prior in a strong Band 5 contest, he has the gate to burrow through and with options thereafter issue the challenge.

OUR ACTION MAN (7) was sent to the post in red figures last start and after securing the pocket trail had to settle for the silver behind WODDLEA DIEGO. He will be probing for the openings again.

SCOTCH EN ICE (5) will take benefit from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell. Gate 6 and a wide run stung on that occasion and another wide gate makes it a tough ask again.

GETALOADATHISBRO (8) pressed on with it from gate 3 last start where he was able to find the front and once in control take them all the way. Fading after an early attack at Marburg two back, he can follow through here and be trying to launch a closing challenge.

ROCKNHOLME (9) will be first up from a spell to make his first appearance in 2023. Chasing home behind WONDERWOMAN JUJON last time out, he can be making a closing play here.

LARA BAY (1) will appreciate a cosy trip in behind the speed here and with the economical trip can be searching for a gap to grab some minor money.

LORD DENZEL (5) has not been too far away in recent outings, the latest when holding on for 3^rd behind HESLUVABLE. The wide gate makes the task a little tougher here but he can look to slide across to lob a spot cheaply and from there be ready to challenge.

FEEL THE THRILL (8) was not suited last start when forced to sit parked and the tough trip took a toll. Leading them up when collared late two back, he can press through to feature.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (7) was sent to sit parked last start and after the tough trip was unable to go on with it over the closing stages. Leading them up two back, he will be probing for open road.

LA SAFRON (2) is thriving on racing at present and lines up here for his fifth appearance in March. Winning 3 of his 4 prior attempts across an 8-day period, he descended on them here on Thursday to claim a 1m margin. Taking them all the way two back, the threepeat is on.

FIRE AND ICE (3) was a winner here four starts back when securing the pocket trail from inside the second line and making the closing shot a winning one. Just a half-head from ROCKSLIDE two back, he was 3^rd to LA SAFRON last time and can be challenging again here.

DOCTA FEELGOOD (6) will take great benefit from his last appearance where he was resuming from a spell. Holding 3^rd, he might have been closer with a clearer passage and can chime in again here.

TE QUIRO (1) landed gate 1 last start over the middle trip at HQ where she was crossed and then down the line behind LORD OF MISRULE. Chasing behind ROCK NIEN two back, the gate helps.

THE CROM (4) was first up off a freshen last time out when trying to chase but just left flat as HESLUVABLE took the prize. Taking benefit from the run, positioning cheaply will be key to his chances here to be powering up in the stretch.

SUBTLE ADVICE (6) is afforded no favours from the wide gate but in this line up can be a factor. A beaten fav when holding 2^nd two back on the grass at Kilcoy, he will be trying to limit the work.

DESTINY BLUES (7) is effective with an economical trip and from this alley will be tucked away on the poles and searching for clear track to grab some minor money.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (5) is never far away in this grade and despite a wide gate can make his presence felt against this opposition. Trying to make a closing raid last start from this same gate as GETALOADATHISGIRL claimed the prize, he can be challenging here.

HANDSOME HARRY (4) will take some benefit from his latest appearance where he was resuming from a break. Buried in the run, he found them a bit out of reach and back to this grade can feature.

IT AINT ROYAL (8) was eased off the arm from gate 4 last start and settled at the rear, could not get into the contest in the closing stages. Pressing through here, can see him in some minor money.
