RACE ONE

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (5)
fired off the arm here five runs back and from the front was able to see it out. Not suited at his next two, he was game here two back when 5th in a blanket finish where he was under 3m from the winner. Beaten a pimple last start, he can force the issue here to cash in.

CANDYKANE (4) was not suited two runs back when sent around them early to sit parked from the second line and then last start could not get warm over he closing stages. Facing a sticky draw, limiting the mid-race work will be key to her challenging chances.

TELL ME THIS (6) claimed a starchy victory here three back when sent to sit parked and able to grind out a half-neck margin. Placed in both runs since, he looks set to roll the sleeves once again.

MACH TORQUE (2) settled in the 1x1 trail from the second line last start and was trying to join in as CHEDDAR MADE BETA took the prize. Settling handy again from this alley can see her feature.

TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (6) is give no favours from the outside paint but will find this much easier than recent assignments. 5m in arrears of ROCK HAMMER last start, he has claims despite the gate.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1) started from inside he second line last start and with the cosy trip was rallying late to be just a half-neck from the winner. In danger of being crossed, he will be probing.

MATAI REACTOR (8)
was tucked away behind the leader here two runs back and when the gap presented had enough speed to arrive for a narrow victory. Taken back from gate 5 last start, he was a long way back but rattled home in nice fashion and finds conditions to capitalise here.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (1) overcame the second line here two start back to descend on them to claim a narrow victory. From the pocket trail last time from this same gate, she was just a head from THE GROGMOTHER who has since franked the performance. With the options, she can issue a challenge.

GO JO JOLT (4) eased from gate 5 last start before making a move wide off the track and with a sustained run was too strong for the opposition, claiming a 5m margin. She is right in the fight again.

FORTES IN FIDE (5) was hemmed away in the run from inside the second line last start and was searching for the openings when under 4m from the winner. He can feature despite the tough gate.

In for the fight, he was giving to the wire when 2nd to ROCKNROLL TIMES. The gate does him no favours, but with the right trip, he is up to the task.

MULLUM BOY (7) had an early look for the front last start but was repelled and then forced to roll the sleeves to do it the tough way. Fighting hard to be best of the rest behind GWYNETH P, the start prior he made solid ground in the closing stages behind LA SAFRON. He will be probing for gaps.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (1) will take good benefit from his latest appearance where he was returning from a spell. Settling rearward from gate 2, he closed out soundly and he has the options to feature.

HE SAID SHE SAID (4) will find this easier then the 70Final he contested on Sat night when chasing home behind MELTON BEACH. Runner-up to subsequent winner MACH DADDY three runs back, he is in the mix.

MOONAN NINA (2)

GEIRANGER RAINBOWS (8) returns to start her 3YO campaign after a 2YO term that returned a win and two minors in six appearances. An all the way AP winner in smart time two runs back, she heads to The Triangle for the first time which looks the only query to challenging first up.

RAMBLING ON (9) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when trying to take them all the way as the punters elect. 2m astern of the winner, she can be chiming in again here.

DEECEE ROCKIN (5) has placed at his past four in succession, the latest when best of the chasers behind the big winner HARLEY BLUE. Wide off the track for 3rd the start prior, the gate stings.

JAMAICAN RESORT (4) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sitting parked and after working hard was 10m from the winner LA PISTOLA. Buried from inside the second line the start prior, he can show the arm hustle to look for the front and can throw down a challenge.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2) eased from gate 5 last start and was making some closing metres when midfield behind HANDSOME HARRY. Settling handy from this alley can see him in the mix.

LAZY BLAZE (5) was making some ground here three back along the passing lane when just 2m from the winner. The gate stings but with an economical trip, he can join in against this opposition.

TORQUE WRITER (7) powered home over the top to score here four starts back and hen two runs back was finishing hard when just a neck adrift of the winner. Strong to the line last start, she looks set to get the economical trip and will be probing for the gaps to challenge.

SHORT LEG SUE (5) retreated from the wide gate last start before making a wide move over the closing stages to close out in nice order, finishing under 4m from the winner. She has claims.

LARA BAY (1) faced this gate last start and releasing for the trail was able to grab the bronze. With early hustle, she will again have the options to fill a minor.

AWAYOVERNIGHT (6)
cops the outside paint again after facing this same alley last week. Finding the pocket trail on that occasion and finishing 2nd to GO JO JOLT, he has become accustomed to tough gates in Qld and following a gritty win here tow back from the second line, can look to cash in again.

SMOKING ZAK (2) is first up from a spell and makes his Qld debut for Darren McCall. Arriving a six-time winner, his last victory was over 12-months back at the Penrith 2125m trip. With a sound preparatory trial, he has the gate to make an impression first up at his 100th career start.

JILLIBY GIZMO (3) forced the issue from gate 5 here last start and worked to the front, holding on for 2nd as SUBTLE ADVICE was able to run him down. Fitter again after three runs back, he can feature.

BERTILS FIREFOX (8) was snookered away against the poles from inside the second line last start and was not too far away. From the running line, he can be making a closing raid.

RACE NINE

KEITH WILL DO (1)
darted off the arm from gate 4 last start to set the tempo and after walking them through the first 800m, was unable to finish them off when grabbed in the closing strides. He finds the gate to burrow through again and will be looking to fight them off.

TUFFY (2) was first up off a freshen last start when sitting in the trail from the inside second line alley and grabbing the bronze behind JUSTUNDERTHELIMIT. He can press forward from this gate to settle handy to the action to issue a challenge.

IMA MIDNIGHT REBEL (3) is moving closer to the account opener after placing at her past two starts, both when starting from the second line. Moving to the front line is a benefit and she is in the mix.

THIS YANKEE ROCKS (8) was on debut last start when forced to hang tough outside the leader, fighting hard to be under 3m from the winner. With the added experience, he can make a play.
