Sectionally superb and maintaining a consistency in her effort, OAXACAN DREAM (8) was attacking the line wide off the track last week after starting from outside the second line. Grabbing the silver behind SWEDISH STARLET, she draws to be stalking the speed here and will be ready to strike.

HIPSTAR (1) was beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating and then not sighting a clear passage to the wire here on Tuesday, yet still breaking 55 for his last 800. Just a half-neck away last start from the pocket trail, he can drop to the pegs and shortcuts.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (9) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when finding the pocket trail from gate 5 and finishing just a half-neck away. Dropping to the poles is an option for him to feature.

CALL ME KEITH (4) was locked away against the poles last start and was left chasing behind MELTON BEACH in grabbing 3rd. Beaten in red figures at Redcliffe two starts back, he might have to work hard.

SELECTIONS: OAXACAN DREAM (8), HIPSTAR (1), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (9), CALL ME KEITH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: OAXACAN DREAM (8) to win

RACE TWO

The first heat of the 2023 Aust Female Championships looks a tough battle where STAR GALLERIA (9) can look for the right cart into the battle. Beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating and closing out to be not too far from the winner TARGARYEN, he was 3rd two back to NROTHVIEW HUSTLER. WA can strike first for Deni Roberts.

MISTERFREEZE (1) was a Redcliffe winner five runs back when securing the right trip to power home over the top to claim a veteran’s grade win. Locked away from inside the second line last time out, he lands all the options here to throw down the challenge.

L L COOL J (4) was sent forward from the second line last time out and exposed for a period before obtaining cover fought on to be 6m in arrears of the winner. From this gate he can be in the mix.

DAZZLE ME (3) eased from gate 5 last start and came with a powerful finishing burst to arrive for a narrow victory. Luckless the start prior from gate 7, he can be up near the action to chime in.

SELECTIONS: STAR GALLERIA (9), MISTERFREEZE (2), L L COOL J (4), DAZZLE ME (3)
SUGGESTED BET: STAR GALLERIA (9) to win

RACE THREE

A tricky battle here with quite a few of these searching for some form. SCOTCH EN ICE (1) has now had three runs back from a spell and looks to have found the right conditions. Asked to park out in a slick mile set from the front where he just wilted late after they got home in 54.3, the gate is a huge asset.

CAPTAINS PICK (8) was setting the tempo last start over the mile, breaking 27 for the opening panel and left vulnerable after a 27.5 third split. Only 4m from the in-form MACH DADDY, the start prior he was collared late when in front and he finds the conditions to go from the hunted to the hunter.

CHEETAH LODGE (6) made a sustained run last start over the closing stages to loom up and grab victory. Hitting the line strongly the start prior behind HY VOLTAGE, the gate makes it a tough ask.

KEAYANG MARVEN (4) can have a line put through his latest start where he struck trouble in the run. Strong to the line the start prior when under 4m from the winner SPEED DATING, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: SCOTCH EN ICE (1), CAPTAINS PICK (8), CHEETAH LODGE (6), KEAYANG MARVEN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SCOTCH EN ICE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

After two runs back from a spell, the latest when grabbing the bronze, ARGYLE (3) looks to have found the right conditions to claim his first Qld victory. Holding on behind THE HIGH COMMANDER last start, he can force the issue here to stake his claim.

HEZASHADOWPLAYA (1) heads North for visiting trainer Brad Elder, arriving following a last start 7th from the 1x1 trail at Newcastle behind HAZELNUTS, it followed a tough win at Tamworth when parked. With all the options from this alley, he can throw down the challenge.

JACCKA WALLY (4) was fired off the arm from gate 7 last time out and took control through a sub 27 opening split. Fighting hard to the wire, he was collared in the last strides and can feature again.

CLASSICMAJOR (6) forced the issue last start and working to the front was looking to see it out when finishing in 2nd behind THE GROGFATHER. Despite the wide gate he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: ARGYLE (3), HEZASHADOWPLAYA (1), JACCKA WALLY (4), CLASSICMAJOR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ARGYLE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Continuing his consistent form last time out, TURN IT UP (3) was allowed to balance up before put into attack mode at the 1000m mark to get forward and take control. Ripping home in 26.5 on the front end for an effortless victory, he has enough versatility to use his push button speed and make it a sweet 16 victories here at The Creek.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (1) holds the early options here and can burrow through and decide who he releases, if at all. Making some nice metres chasing TURN IT UP last start and returning some smart sectionals, he was game the start prior over this trip when working. The gate is a huge asset.

MACH DA VINCI (4) was facing a task last start when too far back trying to make ground in a 26.2 closing panel set from the front by TURN IT UP. Settling closer, he can make a podium play.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (2) secured the pocket trail last start when starting fav but had to settle for a 2m margin in arrears of TARGARYEN. Darting down to the poles, he can be probing for some minor money.

SELECTIONS: TURN IT UP (3), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (1), MACH DA VINCI (4), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN IT UP (3) to win

RACE SIX

Kept fresh since her last appearance after striking trouble in the run, BRONSKI DELIGHT (3) might just have enough of a class edge to overcome the fresh factor. Too classy in front two starts back in a career PB, the start prior she ran BOLD MEDLEY JUJON to a half-neck and can show her class here.

MADRIGAL (1) is 2 for 2 since arriving in Qld but will be first up here and having her first look at HQ. Never in danger on the front-end last start on The Triangle with an effortless 6m margin, she has the gate to throw down a big challenge first up.

MACARENA MADI (9) returns from a spell after a lone outing in January at her first appearance after joining the Shawn Grimsey stable. Following through, she has podium claims fresh.

ILLBEWATCHING (7) is afforded no favours from this alley with his latest outing a sound return over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Taking them all the way two starts back, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI DELIGHT (3), MADRIGAL (1), MACARENA MADI (9), ILLBEWATCHING (7)
SUGGESTED BET:  BRONSKI DELIGHT (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

The second line was not enough to stop MACH DADDY (1) last start, following through to find the 1x1 trail and then finish over the top of them to claim a 3m margin. A gritty winner three starts back, he has all the favours from this alley to chase back-to-back victories.

ASTERISM (10) fired off the arm to set the tempo last start at his first appearance for the new stable and was softened up in the middle stages but was game to the wire, fighting hard to hold 2nd. The second line makes it tougher this time, but with the right cart home he can issue the challenge.

ROCK SUPREME (8) was a Redcliffe winner two starts back when sent around them from the second line to sit parked and prove too strong. Gate 7 was his undoing last start and with a soft trip he can chime in.

LOCHINVAR JAG (9) was buried in the run two starts back over the Newcastle mile when grabbing the bronze and was again hemmed away last time. With a tidy record, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MACH DADDY (1), ASTERISM (10), ROCK SUPREME (8), LOCHINVAR JAG (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MACH DADDY (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

2 for 2 since arriving in the Sunshine State with Shane Graham, RED TRIX (6) scored an emphatic victory last start when making a move from the 500 and sweeping on past to score a 7m margin in sharp time. Doing on the front end first up, the gate stings but she can look to capitalise.

OUR MODERN MINNIE (5) has been in super touch and completed four wins on the bounce here on Tuesday when circling them from the second line to take control and hold on for a narrow margin. Too strong the start prior when sent forward from 4, she can force the issue here to throw it down.

NAVAGIO (4) lines up for visiting trainer Cameron Davies bringing a top-three in all four appearances this season. Just a head away from MY ULTIMATE SKEETA last start in slick time at Newcastle, she is right in the mix.

ARCO (7) held them wide at her first start in Qld where she was also first up in five months, with the leading rights coming at a costly 26.5 first split. Gripping on to hold 2nd behind RED TRIX, the gate dents her hopes.

SELECTIONS:
RED TRIX (6), OUR MODERN MINNIE (5), NAVAGIO (4), ARCO (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

Making her first appearance in Qld for the Butler stable, ADELLE (7) is a high-quality trotting mare that arrives from Victoria with a dozen wins against her name. 11 of those wins have been under mobile conditions and with form through the Inter Dominion series, she can look to capitalise fresh.

MAJESTIC HARRY (2) was sent out as the fav last week in the Marathon and safely into stride, found the front and was looking to see it out on the front end. Leading them swinging for home, he was out of bullets and missed the money as C K SPUR blasted clear. Back to the mobile mile should help.

LEESA CASTLETON (1) has been super consistent this season, hitting the board in all seven appearances, including a pair of wins. Closing out in smart fashion for the bronze last time, she has the gate to chime in again.

MAJESTIC SIMON (5) took the trail from gate 2 over the mobile 2138 last start when holding on for the silver behind SUGARINSPICE. Freshened since his last appearance, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ADELLE (7), MAJESTIC HARRY (2), LEESA CASTLETON (1), MAJESTIC SIMON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ADELLE (7) to win

RACE TEN

A real eye-catching effort in the first round of heats of the McNeil Series where he was fresh off a spell, ZEALOUS SPUR (7) then struck trouble in the second round which ended his chances. Lobbing a great spot in transit in the final, he loomed up to hit the front but could repel HAMMER SON. A move to the front tape is a big plus.

HAMMER SON (3) skipped away from the tapes last start but once into stride found the running line and owned superior closing power to descend on them to claim the McNeil Final here last week. Off the front tape in that series, he meets many of those he was gaining 20m from on equal terms here.

REGAL APPOINTMENT (5) was third up in the McNeil Final after a tidy second up effort when just in behind them. Just left flat when the speed was need over the 2647 final, he has claims in this.

NORTIE NORTIE (6) was a long way back in the pack last week after coming through the same series as many of his opponents and just could not finish it off. Back to the front tape is a big help.

SELECTIONS: ZEALOUS SPUR (7), HAMMER SON (3), REGAL APPOINTMENT (5), NORTIE NORTIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ZEALOUS SPUR (7) to win
