RACE ONE

Continuing to trot with a consistency, OONSKADE (14) has hit the board in 8 of 11 this season, including the past five in succession which includes a pair of victories. Overcoming the 40m impost here tow starts back, she was charging home last start for a 3m 2nd. She can capitalise once again.

SUPPLANTER (8) makes his first race appearance in Qld, arriving a two-time winner. Last sighted when 3rd from the mobile at Bendigo, the standing start is the big query, as he takes his first race appearance from behind the tapes here. With some sound local trial form, he can challenge.

HOLD MY HAT DOUG (2) finally put it all together to score here two starts back when taking the trail and darting through on the passing lane to score. Making a costly error last start, he can feature.

THE REAPER (9) found the 1x1 trail last time out after a safe start and chased well for the bronze. At his best when able to settle closer to the speed, with his manners he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: OONSKADE (14), SUPPLANTER (8), HOLD MY HAT DOUG (2), THE REAPER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: OONSKADE (14) to win

RACE TWO

Still searching for the breakthrough, SAINT JUJON (4) might have found her opportunity after placing in 5 of her 9 career starts to date. Asked to do it the tough way last start, she was game in holding on for 2nd behind BORN TO WRITE. Fitter after two runs back, she can be handy enough to arrive.

AUNTY BEC (3) is on debut for visiting Bathurstian Chris Frisby, with the 3YO filly a daughter of top sire American Ideal out of the mare Caracas. With a tidy effort here last week at the trials, she has the right gate to be handy enough to try to mount a first up challenge.

GOLDEN BAY (1) makes his first race appearance in Aus after crossing the Tasman following one NZ run. Given a gentle time in a Redcliffe trial, he stays under notice from the ace gate.

OLLIE OLLIE (2) was faced with gate 7 last start when making his race debut and put in a tidy effort to hold 3rd behind BORN TO WRITE. The improved gate and race experience are big benefits here.

SELECTIONS: SAINT JUJON (4), AUNTY BEC (3), GOLDEN BAY (1), OLLIE OLLIE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

ELLIS STREET (7)
has the OPM embargo after throwing his chances away here last week when sent out deep into the red. That was from the same gate he faces here this time. Runner-up in four successive starts leading into last week, he can get the start right and break the maiden tag.

SKYGIRL (6) was on debut at Redcliffe from gate 1 when using the passing lane, she was able to grab the silver behind ROCKIN CHIKA. Taking experience from the outing, the wider gate makes it tougher this time, but she can be looking to mount a challenge.

ROCKON ROCKY (1) is an Ohoka Punter gelding on debut for Melissa Gillies out of Rockonbye. With some sound trial form, the inside gate should aid his chances of featuring first up.

PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (9) sat in the pocket trail last start after starting from gate 1 and taking the closing shot up the passing lane was just a nostril shy of victory. She can be joining in again.

SELECTIONS: ELLIS STREET (7), SKYGIRL (6), ROCKON ROCKY (1), PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ELLIS STREET (7) to win

RACE FOUR

A winner of just one race, SARASUN (2) is yet to hist the board in five appearances this season. That has materialised after here only good draw this campaign saw her make an error and end her chances. Back in the main draw, she can get across to the poles and with options thereafter might just have found the conditions to pinch her 2nd win.

SIGNOR JUJON (7) started from inside the second line last start and soon found himself hemmed away over the Redcliffe 1780. Finding space to chase and be 8m from the winner, the gate makes it tough but sliding across to position cheaply can see him in position to issue a challenge.

LANCELOT BROMAC (5) was locked away against the poles last start over the 2138 and when he forced his way clear, kept giving to the wire to grab 3rd. He can keep whacking away to feature.

KEAYANG TARA (6) has placed in 3 of her past 4, the latest when taken to Narrabri. 7m in arrears here two starts back, the wide gate hurts but she can be looking to make a closing play.

SELECTIONS: SARASUN (2), SIGNOR JUJON (7), LANCELOT BROMAC (5), KEAYANG TARA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SARASUN (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Resuming from a freshen two starts back, BRONSKI DELIGHT (5) was sent to the front from gate 3 and once in control was able to hang on for a narrow victory over subsequent winner MADRIGAL. Asked to sit parked last start as LOUS DREAM took the prize, she has the class to bounce back.

EMPRESS BYELINE (2) looks the biggest danger and from the good gate can show her arm hustle to be first across to the poles. Runner-up in both starts since returning from a spell, she tried to see it out last start when 2m in arrears of ALTA MAGACIAN. She has the gate to throw it down.

BORN TO WRITE (7) made the most of the good alley at career start number 2 when holding them wide and claiming a 7m margin. 3rd to LOUS DREAM on debut, the gate dents the repeat hopes.

RAWORTH GIRL (8) was first up in almost 12 months when proving too strong at Redcliffe last start. Taking benefit from the run, she will be probing for open space to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI DELIGHT (5), EMPRESS BYELINE (2), BORN TO WRITE (7), RAWORTH GIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BRONSKI DELIGHT (5) to win

RACE SIX

A return to the front line should be the catalyst for EL AGUILA (3) to bounce back to winning form after the second line has been his downfall at his past two. Sent forward around them and working hard last start when 6m in arrears, he can forced the issue here, take control and see it out in front.

KASH US BACK (1) is racing consistently but just cannot seem to find a way to get back into winning form. The bridesmaid at his past five in succession, he was beaten a head over this trip two back when taking the trail and last start tried to lead throughout over the mile. He has the challenging options.

OUR MAJOR DAY (9) was sent to sit parked last start around the tight Narrabri track and after the tough trip over the 2560m journey, it was a brave 3rd. Trailing through, he can make a late raid here.

PARAMA (5) is staring down a hat-trick of victories after successive wins in this grade, the latest from the pocket trail at the mile. Seeing it out from the front over this trip two back, the gate is tricky.

SELECTIONS: EL AGUILA (3), KASH US BACK (1), OUR MAJOR DAY (9), PARAMA (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  EL AGUILA (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

It will need to be another step up here against some far more experienced rivals for LOUS DREAM (9), but the 3YO has been mighty impressive in his two runs since arriving in Aus with Jack Butler. Holding them wide last start to lead throughout, he will be relying on some tempo to descend here.

STANDANDELIVER (2) was having his first start for Narissa McMullen last time out when faced with the outside second line gate. A cleaner passage would have seen him closer than the 8m deficit behind LOUS DREAM and tightened form the first up effort and the improved gate are both a big advantage.

WHEREYABINTWISTIN (10) joins the Cernovskis team on their annual trip North and has been runner-up in 2 of his past 4 starts. The gate does him no favours here first up off a spell.

HE SAID SHE SAID (3) was a smart Redcliffe winner two starts back when working hard to get forward, take control and see it out. Run down after leading them up last start, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: LOUS DREAM (9), STANDANDELIVER (2), WHEREYABINTWISTIN (10), HE SAID SHE SAID (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

From inside the second line last start, HARRY KANE (9) was moved off the pols and sent forward to work hard in the run, only fading in the closing stages when 7m from the winner. Faced with a tough gate at Marburg the start prior, he looks set to enjoy the right trip to descend on them here.

ELOUISA DALE (8) will be relying on some factors in her favour here as she looks in danger of being snookered away on the inside. Striking trouble that ended her afternoon last start, she was gunned down in front the start prior after being sent out an odds-on elect. Just needs a split to challenge.

SHEREACTS (4) sat in the pocket trail last start and was best of the chasers behind the smart looking LOUS DREAM. Hitting the board in 4 of 6 this season, she can get forward to feature again here.

STRONG RESPONSE (10) faced a second line draw last start and was making some nice metres in the closing stages when 3rd to the passing lane winner YANKEE C J. He can be closing late again.

SELECTIONS: HARRY KANE (9), ELOUISA DALE (8), SHEREACTS (4), STRONG RESPONSE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: HARRY KANE (9) to win

RACE NINE

After winning at his first Qld appearance in a 70Heat, MR MCLAREN (6) then was forced to hang tough in the Final when a fighting 2nd behind stablemate MELTON BEACH. Forced to work hard from the second line at Redcliffe last start, he can defy the wide gate here to chalk up another victory.

MAGICAL MAYA (5) resumes from a spell after being shut down following a 3m margin behind RACY ROXY last time out. Claiming the 3YO Fillies Triad over this trip last August, she was racing some nice horses that have gone on with it in her last campaign. She can challenge fresh and should improve.

HESTON ZOOLANDER (9) was mighty impressive running it hard from the front at Redcliffe three starts back. Not too far away from this same gate last time, he will be trying to join in.

FATHER BOB (10) arrives for Southern pilgrim Dean Cernovskis and arrives with a last start Menangle 2nd where he hit the line strongly after retreating from a wide gate. He can make a late rally here.

SELECTIONS: MR MCLAREN (6), MAGICAL MAYA (5), HESTON ZOOLANDER (9), FATHER BOB (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MR MCLAREN (6) to win

RACE TEN

Chasing down a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the mile, KANYE CRUSADER (3) steps up to the middle trip and has the gate to be forward in the run. Forcing the issue to take control last start over the mile and run it hard in front, he has the versatility and in form combination to arrive.

MISS MUCHO (1) was first up in Qld five runs back when contesting a similar graded contest and leading them all the way from this same alley. Not much has been in her favour in four unplaced runs since, the latest when parked. The improved gate is a big help for her to issue a challenge.

HIPSTAR (5) eased from gate 6 last start to settle rearward before closing out strongly for the silver behind KANYE CRUSADER. A big winner two starts back, the gate is sticky once again.

MISTERFREEZE (10) has no favours from outside the second line but should appreciate what looks a genuine tempo to be set in front. Trying to make late metres last start from gate 5, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: KANYE CRUSADER (3), MISS MUCHO (1), HIPSTAR (5), MISTERFREEZE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: KANYE CRUSADER (3) to win
