RACE ONE

Settled in the 1x1 trail from gate 3 last start, GOLIGHTLY (2) was trying to make a closing raid when grabbing 3rd behind GLENEAGLE WARRIOR who darted up the passing lane. Grafting it out first over from gate 5 here two back, he can press the issue and from the front will take some catching.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (5) was sent forward from gate 3 over the mile last time and tried to see it out from the front. Collared late in the stretch by KEAYANG MARVEN, three starts back he was just a half-neck from SURF ACE. Despite a potentially awkward gate, he can issue a challenge.

HY VOLTAGE (9) was electric off the gate last start and had the amperage at full tilt in breaking 26 through the opening panel. That was his undoing and with a chance with a quieter trip can feature.

THE HUMMER (1) took out a qualifier last week when settled in the 1x1 trail and kept grafting out to the line to score a narrow victory. Tucked away, he will be searching for the gaps to chime in.

SELECTIONS: GOLIGHTLY (2), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (5), HY VOLTAGE (9), THE HUMMER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLIGHTLY (2) to win

RACE TWO

Making an error before the start car pulled clear last week, CLASSIE WASHINGTON (11) was chasing hard to catch the field and then was sent into attack mode to get outside the leader by the bell. Fighting gamely to be beaten just a half-head, he was huge in defeat and can overcome 11 to arrive.

CHAMONIX (6) was resuming off a spell last week when taken back from gate 5 to settle on the poles before taking short cuts and finishing 2m in arrears of the winner. He is given no favours from the wide gate again here but with the added fitness can find a spot to issue a challenge.

ROCKSLIDE (2) has been kept fresh since his last start where he was big in victory at Redcliffe when sitting parked off gate 6 and running a strong last half to take the win. He has the gate to feature.

HEZASHADOWPLAYA (5) was drawn inside the second line last time out and from the trail took the closing shot to come up just a blister short of victory behind THE HUMMER. Runner-up in 2 of 3 here at The Creek, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: CLASSIE WASHINGTON (11), CHAMONIX (6), ROCKSLIDE (2), HEZASHADOWPLAYA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASSIE WASHINGTON (11) to win

RACE THREE

A winner of 3 of his 4 starts since joining the Donny Smith stable, KANYE CRUSADER (3) has the gate to chase a 4th. Forcing the issue over the 2138 here on Tuesday to take control and claim a 3m margin, the prior wins were off speed and from the front. He can get forward to see this out.

MISS MUCHO (1) had this same gate in the same race as KANYE CRUSADER on Tuesday and taking the trail was then trying to mount a closing raid in holding on for the silver. Not suited when forced to sit parked two starts back, she can secure the easy trip and try to land the closer once again.

KEAYANG MARVEN (5) was attacking the line in style here two starts back to grab the silver and franked that effort with a strong win last start when descending on them. Positioning cheaply is key.

SCOTCH EN ICE (8) grabbed the bronze last start when starting form this same gate and using the passing lane to be 3m in arrears of LORD ZARIAS. He can be following inside lines once again.

SELECTIONS: KANYE CRUSADER (3), MISS MUCHO (1), KEAYANG MARVEN (5), SCOTCH EN ICE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: KANYE CRUSADER (3) to win

RACE FOUR

The Butler stable hold all the keys to this contest and the map and set up will be dictated by their three prime runners. HOT AND TREACHEROUS (8) looks nicely graded back in this level after a game first over effort last week outside TURN IT UP. Fitter for that hit out, the gate looks the only impediment to his victory.

DEUS EX (2) was sent forward off the arm last time out and forced to work hard in the run and had a further impediment of a gear failure affecting his trip. Fitter after two runs back from a break, he lands the gate to fire out early and if crossing to the front will take some stopping.

TARGARYEN (1) took them all the way from gate 3 over this trip three starts back and followed it with a 2m deficit to AMERICAN OUTLAW. From the gate, he has all the mapping options at his disposal.

MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (9) has bene sectionally super for so long and although finishing midfield last start, still rattled home with his own last 800 in sub-55. He can descend off tempo to feature.

SELECTIONS: HOT AND TREACHEROUS (8), DEUS EX (2), TARGARYEN (1), MAKE MINE MEMPHIS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-8-9

RACE FIVE

SO AM I (1)
chased from the 1x1 trail last start when midfield behind BETTERTHANAROCKET. Making a late raid to be just a head form the winner MACH DADDY two starts back, this race looks to have limited front line pressure and if he can burrow through early, might just be able to pinch this.

ARGYLE (9) started form the second line last start and was back in the pack and never got warm as the race was controlled on the front end. Placed in both previous starts including a 4m margin behind JACCKA WALLY, he can look to press through early to position for a challenge.

ROLLYARRRZ (5) fired out looking to take them all the way last start but could not finish them off when 3m in arrears of the winner. From the tricky gate, he has podium claims.

BETTERTHAN POPSY (8) eased from gate 5 to secure position last start before trying to make a closing raid behind REGULUS. His stocks will rise exponentially if the 1 leads, as he will stalk.

SELECTIONS: SO AM I (1), ARGYLE (9), ROLLYARRRZ (5), BETTERTHAN POPSY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SO AM I (1) to win

RACE SIX

With a brilliant 7 from 10 record here at The Creek, this could be the last Aus appearance for SLIP THE HUNDY (3) who is on his way to North America. Returning for a solitary run in each of his past two campaigns, claiming solid wins on each occasion, he has trialled smartly and can get some on-board spending money for his flight.

IM FEELING FIREY (2) took the trail last start in a veteran’s event from gate 1 when fighting on for the bronze behind subsequent winner KANYE CRUSADER. Game after working hard two starts back, he can be close enough to the action to issue a challenge.

CHEETAH LODGE (1) should appreciate an improved gate after his past three have been from wide out. Too far back last start, he powered home to score here three back and will be stalking awaiting the openings.

DAZZLE ME (9) spent a bit trying to get across from gate 4 last start and was left exposed early before finding cover. Descending on them here three back to score a smart win, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SLIP THE HUNDY (3), IM FEELING FIREY (2), CHEETAH LODGE (1), DAZZLE ME (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SLIP THE HUNDY (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

It’s a big ask to overcome the outside paint, but RED TRIX (7) has been in super form since arriving in Qld and lines up chasing down a 4th win from just her 6th appearance here at The Creek. Allowed to balance up and stay out of the early speed battle last time, she was then too strong after sitting parked to see it out. She can rinse and repeat.

WONDERWOMAN JUJON (1) had the early speed to get across to the poles from gate 2 last start before taking the trail when pressured. Sweating on the gap turning for home, she sprinted sharply once the gap opened to score. Against her own sex here, she has the options to challenge.

JAZIAH (3) has been a model of consistency as she chases a breakthrough victory here at HQ where she has placed in 9 of 16. Missing the money just once in her past 11 attempts, she can be handy enough to feature.

MISS DAYTONA (8) had this gate last start and was soon shuffled to three back before making a late raid to grab the silver when a neck from the winner JILLIBY CHAMBERS. She will be probing again.

SELECTIONS: RED TRIX (7), WONDERWOMAN JUJON (1), JAZIAH (3), MISS DAYTONA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE EIGHT

Bouncing back to winning form last week from back in the pack, SCARLET BABE (7) is afforded no favours from the outside alley. Owning the best closing speed to loom up and pull clear to a 6m margin, it was a stylish victory. 3rd from gate 7 in this company 3 runs ago, she can go back-to-back.

AUNTY BELLA (10) is back for another Winter pilgrimage after an extended campaign here last year that saw her victorious in gritty fashion in her last run before migrating back South. Resuming behind subsequent winner TAY TAY two back, she trialled smartly on Monday and can never be discounted.

SWEDISH STARLET (9) fired off the arm from gate 4 here two starts back and from the front was able to carve out a 2m margin. Gunned down when leading them up last time, she can join in off speed.

MORESCO (4) was chasing down a hat-trick of wins here last start when spending pennies early to take control through a sub 27 opening panel. Grabbed by RED TRIX in the closing strides, she can fire early bullets again here.

SELECTIONS: SCARLET BABE (7), AUNTY BELLA (10), SWEDISH STARLET (9), MORESCO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SCARLET BABE (7) to win

RACE NINE

In a race where 4 of the 9 have no race experience from behind the tapes, L L COOL J (5) can take advantage of the 10m mark to get himself in the contest. Pressing to the front from gate 5 two starts back and seeing it out from the front, he closed out nicely last start behind TURN IT UP.

GOVERNOR JUJON (9) is one of those having his first start from behind the tapes. Back in winning form when sprinting hard up the stretch after a cosy trip in FFA company two starts back, he was beaten by the closing tempo last start when back in the pack behind TURN IT UP. He is up to this.

ITS MR CLOONEY (2) has a 50% top-three strike rate from the tapes, with a win and 3 minors from 8 attempts. 2m away here on Tuesday where he looked to have a bit to offer but was snookered, he can step off the front to feature.

SURF ACE (1) makes his maiden stand start appearance and from the inside lane can be settled near the speed if safely away. A sharp winner three back before a gritty 3rd two back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: L L COOL J (5), GOVERNOR JUJON (9), ITS MR CLOONEY (2), SURF ACE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: L L COOL J (5) to win

RACE TEN

2 from 2 since returning to star his 3YO term, WISPER A SECRET (4) was able to overcome gate 11 at his first trip beyond the mile last start when descending on them to take the prize. Too slippery first up when sent forward to take control and claim a 9m margin, the threepeat is withing reach.

QUEENSLANDER (2) was sent to the post as fav in the APG Bullion Final from inside the second line where he was quickly off the poles and sent forward. Working hard in the run, he faded late after the tough trip. With the big improvement in the gates, he can show the arm hustle to throw it down.

REGAZZO DI TILLY (1) was first up from a spell when eased from gate 4 at the mile to find the running line and owned the speed to arrive for the prize. Strong to the line to be just a head from WISPER A SECRET last start, he can get the trip to feature.

SELECTIONS: WISPER A SECRET (4), QUEENSLANDER (2), REGAZZO DI TILLY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WISPER A SECRET (4) to win

RACE ELEVEN

Responsible for a pair of big performances at his past two starts, CALL ME TROUBLE (7) should appreciate the absence of ADELLE who conquered him in both of those events. Sitting parked to be just a neck away two starts back, it was a sizzling closing half last start when 4m away. He can arrive.

RILEY MOMENT (1) was safely off the mark last start from the front line over the middle trip and leading them up was unable to see it out when collared late to be 5m from the winner HAMMER SON. She can be into stride and positioned to challenge once again.

C K SPUR (8) showed tremendous turn of hoof first up after being tucked away and then exploding away to put up an 11m margin. 3rd to ADELLE second up from 20m over 2647, the 30m looks tough.

JACCKA WATCH (3) made an error last start that ended his afternoon. Heavily supported to run fav in the McNeil Final two back, it was a game effort when 4m away. With a safe start, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TROUBLE (7), RILEY MOMENT (1), C K SPUR (8), JACCKA WATCH (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TROUBLE (7) to win
