RACE ONE

CHAKANA (1)
settled in the 1x1 trail last time when finishing 8m from the winner POPPY RAE. Showing speed off the arm to set the tempo at Redcliffe three starts back, she led deep into the stretch when 3rd behind subsequent winner BOUNTYHUNTER. This looks her chance to breakthrough.

BLACK GEMSTONE (3) will be on the overnight backup from the Nanango Show and comes into this with a last start down the line finish behind IMA MIDNIGHT REBEL. This looks the right set up for her to issue a challenge.

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (4) has faced tough gates at his past two starts, the latest when trying to make closing metres behind MYSTICAL CHARM. The small field aids his chances of chiming in.

SELECTIONS: CHAKANA (1), BLACK GEMSTONE (3), DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAKANA (1) to win

RACE TWO

BOUNTYHUNTER (6) was chasing down a hat-trick of victories last time out when locked away from inside the second line. Sent to the front to take them all the way two starts back, he kept the challengers away to claim a 7m margin. Despite the wide gate, he can capitalise.

DEECEE ROCKIN (5) comes into this contest with a last start victory when darting through on the passing lane to claim a narrow margin. Making metres wide off the track three starts back when runner-up to HARLEY BLUE, the wide gate stings but he can be throwing down the challenge.

ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (4) has been in the money at her past three starts including a maiden breaking win at Redcliffe two back. Banished to the trials last start, she returns here with claims.

FRIDAY THIRTEENTH (2) was stepping out in Qld for the first-time last start when eased before the start to find the poles and settle back in the pack. Closer to the action here can see him join in.

SELECTIONS: BOUNTYHUNTER (6), DEECEE ROCKIN (5), ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (4), FRIDAY THIRTEENTH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BOUNTYHUNTER (6) to win

RACE THREE

SUBTLE ADVICE (8)
overcame gate 6 on The Triangle four starts back after easing early and then finishing hard down the outside to claim a 7m margin. Runner-up at his last appearance here at Kilcoy six runs back, he is a two-time winner on this deck and can chase a third in this.

WHATA REACTOR (7) found ideal conditions at Redcliffe on Wednesday night where she settled in the running line from a second line gate before powering over the top to a 5m margin with a further 16m back to 3rd. A previous winner on the grass, she will be searching for openings to challenge.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (5) makes his first appearance on the grass and comes into this backing up from HQ on Friday and then the Nanango Show on Saturday. 3rd over the AP mile at his previous outing, he is in the mix.

BUSTABALLON (2) rolled forward from gate 4 to sit parked last time out and was game to hold on for the bronze behind WHATA REACTOR. Settling close to the action can see him feature again.

SELECTIONS: SUBTLE ADVICE (8), WHATA REACTOR (7), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (5), BUSTABALLON (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SUBTLE ADVICE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

JILLIBY GIZMO (4) lines up for his third run in four days after Redcliffe and Nanango Show appearances since Thursday. Making some late metres to grab the bronze on Thursday, he was the runner-up there five runs back when sent forward from gate 5. He finds a suitable race for a breakthrough.

HANDSOME HARRY (9) comes out of the same race as JILLIBY GIZMO at Redcliffe on Thursday. Faced with the outside second line on that occasion, he did not really get warm over the closing stages as FLOORLESS sailed down the outside to score. A passing lane winner four runs back, this will be his first grass outing and he can make a play.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (6) was closing out in nice order for 2nd two runs back at Redcliffe when under 3m from the winner. Grabbing a 3rd there on Thursday, the gate makes it tough here.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (8) was luckless last start at Marburg where she was snookered on the poles and did not get clear in time to make a play. Strong to the line two starts back from a wide gate, she can join in.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY GIZMO (4), HANDSOME HARRY (9), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (6), GETALOADATHISGIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY GIZMO (4) to win

RACE FIVE

SHAKATIE (3)
was exposed early before receiving cover last time out at Marburg and trying to make ground wide out in the closing stages was fruitless. Not suited from the tapes two back, she was game in defeat when parked three back and getting forward can look to capitalise here.

BELLA GODIVA (1) found the ideal conditions two starts back when pressing the issue early rom gate 3 at Marburg to get forward, take control and see it out with a 2m margin. Luckless from outside the second line on that same deck last time, she can be up near the action to throw down the challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (6) keeps chipping away and will have his second outing here at Kilcoy. A winner over the AP mile up the passing lane two back, he was luckless from inside the second line last time when best of the rest behind WILLIEWA LIGHTNING. Despite the outside he is right in the fight.

OUR DOLLY (5) is in search of a hat-trick after a win here from the second line was followed with an all the way victory at Marburg. The wide gate stings but the threepeat is within reach.

SELECTIONS: SHAKATIE (3), BELLA GODIVA (1), CIRCLE LINE (6), OUR DOLLY (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

WINDY HILL WALLY (7)
has finished with the bronze at his past three starts, the latest when making late metres down the outside to be 4m from A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE. Luckless the start prior when slicing between runners and closing hard, he will be hoping a gap arrives with momentum to cash in.

ARTFUL MAID (10) steps out at her fifth different track from her past six starts and throw in a sixth if including the Warwick Show. Runner-up last start at Narrabri in their Cup when closing strongly to be just 2m away. Darting through on the passing lane three back when 3m from OUR ACTION MAN at Redcliffe, she can issue a challenge.

ROCK SUPREME (4) was not suited from inside the second line at Marburg last start which followed a midfield return behind MACH DADDY. Too strong for them when parked at Redcliffe four runs back, he is in the mix.

MALINJANG (1) has now had two runs back from a spell where he has been well held on both occasions. Fading out last start in a much tougher contest, he can burrow through to feature.

SELECTIONS: WINDY HILL WALLY (7), ARTFUL MAID (10), ROCK SUPREME (4), MALINJANG (1)
SUGGESTED BET:  WINDY HILL WALLY (7) to win
