In order to be eligible to be nominated for the Group 1 Brisbane Cup, greyhounds must have raced at least once at Albion Park over of distance of 520m or further. Preludes will be programmed over four Albion Park race meetings (June 1, 8, 15 and 22) and each one will carry $24,000 in prize money.
1st, 2nd and 3rd grade greyhounds will be automatically considered for the preludes. All greyhounds that nominate for the preludes, that do not gain a start in a prelude will automatically be given a second preference for a graded race, unless otherwise stated.
Nominations for the first Brisbane Cup preludes close on Monday, May 29 at 9am. All nominations must be submitted via OzChase.
